Barcelona with 90+6 minute goal, and Newcastle also with a late penalty means 2 LMS points going down the drain for me towards the very end, even if I wasn’t going to get any advantage for the league duel, starting the round 2/2 would have meant less LMS pressure for the rest of the weak, but now it’s going to be the complete opposite. Pheeew!

I can't even begin to tell you how that late goal hurt my soul bro, I'm here thinking the whistle will blow soon but no.
That stung so bad it would've nullified my opp's answer but like the majority of my season I just can't catch a break at all.

One goes down the drain for me because of this. No joke but I was kinda expecting Atletico Madrid to win against Barcelona, I mean they won against Real Madrid so probably they could do something against Barcelona as well. The game should have stopped at 2-1 


How are we getting all the same answers on 50-50 question and H2H el che?  That just sucks, I didnt expect that you will go with all no on question #10 though

This week I’m playing against ralle14. We’ve got almost the same number of points and we’re right next to each other in the standings. After last week’s loss, my team will give everything to pick up some points in this match. I respect my opponent — he’s got a good team — but I’ll still try my best to win. Especially since there are no Dota-2 questions this time (that’s a plus for me), and the tennis players are on break, so most of the questions are about football now. And I really love football )

You guys are now in the lead, and my team needs to play catch-up after those unreal late-game goals from Tottenham, only 2 shots on target, and they all got through.  

I'll need Q4 to shave that lead, and if not, then the next plan would be a near-perfect second half to gain anything out of this round.

The week started interestingly for me. In our first match, Barcelona made it 3-1 in the 90+6th minute. I was leading 1-0.
15-20 minutes later, Newcastle was leading 2-1 (which, of course, meant I was also leading 2-0), but Tottenham scored in the 90+5th minute to make it 2-2.
Our match ended 1-1.
We have very different answers. I could face defeat this week. My opponent is a very tough bettor 😂🫣

Oh wow! I can't believe that those last minute goals from Barcelona and Tottenham saved me. I didn't get the second answer correct, but if it weren't for that last minute goal from Tottenham, LFC_Bitcoin would get that point. This way we are tied 1-1 after the first day. I just realised that I went with two draws in this round which is not what I do normally. I hope to get at least one right

I am on a trip and in the past few days, I haven't been as active on the forum as before.
Unlike before when I always used my desktop computer to submit the answers, this time I submitted my answers using my mobile phone in a rush just so I wouldn't miss the deadline. I didn't know I had selected my division incorrectly.

I wasn't too long ago wondering how I came to watch some sports and not others, and figured... if I thought I could play it, or actually did play it, I watched it. Made sense for football, badminton (later tennis), and even track.

It’s pretty much the same thing for me, with F1 being the only exception, and that was thanks to my father, who was a huge F1 fan. It was impossible not to become one when it was followed religiously in your house.

But I never fought in any sort of ring so it doesn't explain why I spent a good few years watching a hell lot of muay thai...p

I feel like it was a mistake of me to choose No, because I think Brentford will score.. But the odds are very good on btts, right now odds are 2.15 and over 0.5 goal on Brentford is 1.9..

Tottenham really helped me out yesterday ) Thanks to their goal in the 95th minute, I managed to take the lead in my match against ralle14, and now I’m up 1–0. Romero may be a defender, but he scored such a beautiful goal that not every forward could pull off a shot like that ) I hope today’s football will be just as enjoyable )

Finally some good results, both late too with Barca and Spurs. Not to ignore the 9-goal caper at Craven Cottage! I have the unfortunate circumstance to be paired with hosemary who also got both right, but the LMS advantage is welcome.

I never really enjoyed boxing or taekwondo much, even MMA. But maybe I was younger and muay thai was easily available at that time, and well, yeah, just the whole atmosphere before and after. Or maybe things just appear more exciting when you're younger and we're just uninterested now we've "seen it all".

We were really unlucky that Barcelona scored a goal in the 97th minute. I felt the same way as you, and my direct opponent was very lucky with that goal and is now in the lead.
Currently, my direct opponent is ahead 2:1, but the week is still long, and with a bit of luck, a lot can still change.

One more here complaining about that late goal of Barcelona, i went with a bold Atletico Madrid not to lose and under so for me it was no chance to take a point but at least to not lose a point in hands of my rival, and he took it with that very late goal, plus for sure most of the people in LMS also can add that point to their scores double fucked with the 90+ goal from Barcelona.

That late goal from Barcelona gave me the first point of this round and there are many different responses against my opponent. Tottenham is a strange team, they're one of the best away team this season, but they're terrible at home. Even knowing that, I chose Newcastle because the bookmakers had them as the favorites.

This was not a good start for me in this round with zero points, but luckily my opponent is not doing any better.
I made a risky move playing on Real Madrid not to win against Athletic Bilbao, and that is one of the rear different answers I have in this round.
Another different answer for me is Verstappen not to win the race, and that can decide the winner in this round.
