BTW The Cup as an added bonus, it disrupts Paco's (Div3 #1) rhythm in the league

Well boring start of the week since my team dont play for anything until round 2. I hope to do good in the cup in which i never have good performance, the best one was in the past season reching R16 or Quarterfinals i didnt remember. In all the others i go out super early like in first or second round.

Naturally I picked them cover 1.5 handicap first half and just looked at score and see a nil nil first half, so yeah experiment gone wrong

That was a decent performance from Cardiff in the first half giving their quality and a poor one for Chelsea giving theirs. If Cardiff were a slightly better team they should have been able to get a goal or test the keeper more in this half.

Chelsea should make changes in the second half which could change the game but Cardiff has already done enough to give me an early lead.

Cup games can be tricky sometimes even against lower division sides. Rotations are a priority in these type of games and some the other game he made them in. The draws favored Chelsea this round, City Castle and Arsenal may not be able to rotate much with their fixtures except they plan to throw the tournament.

Yeah, buy ins get more expensive every few rounds. But since all buy ins go into the reward pool, everything comes back to you in the end. But the biggest risk is the last round where you can lose it all if you don't end up first on the table or even get kicked out in the round before the last one.

Only if you win I think statistically you can definitely fight for freebets, so that is the amount you can 'redeem' back from buy in. The chances of being #1 (catching up 10 points plus), while at the same time hoping the leaders don't get more points in 9 rounds, PLUS also ensuring you don't eliminate in last round... makes it very low probability

You mean the "Slissy - mafia" situation that we had in the final round of the LMS last season? When Slissy accidentally got only two points in the last round and got kicked out. He couldn't forgot to submit his answers because that would be too suspicious. And what happened then? Who profited from that? Well, accidentally Mafia cryptofrka got 7 (yes, seven!!!) points in that last round to win the LMS. If something looks like mafia business, this is a prime example of it!
