After two defeats and a draw, what's next? Yes, a possible victory to get me back on track for qualification (let's hope some of them falter in the next round) but the rhythm was broken; a week off. Anyway, it's time to support the survivors of Division 3 in the cup.

The Mafia paired me (a poor Division 3 team fighting for its life in the middle of the table) against Harkorede - a team that sits comfortably in 2nd place of Division 1. Me too, but still, its a pity not a get a win when you have 5 correct answers, and this was a 2nd 5:5 draw for me in a row.

Good thing though is that 1 win can push me further away from the relegation zone, so plan is to focus on that and send the 2nd team to the cup game(s)this week.

Sometimes its strange when you see someone lose 6-7, when everybody else can win 2-1 or 3-2, I think in BSFL this happens many many times already. I prefer to lose when I score low, indeed... then again the SD is important as well.

I already got kicked out of cup early so my full focus in on the league.

We have some really dificult to guess games starting from today, Newcastle against Manchester City is gonna be super difficult to guess. I dont even read the questions but for sure some of them are related to that game.

2 of them literally scream draw to me, the 3rd one not at all at this point in time. I don't mind picking draws, statistics don't tell the whole story.
Generally I'd say that home team wins happen 40-50% of the time, and then away wins and draws take ~25% each. There's still no way I'm picking any of these home teams today - maybe Como can take a win but even that would surprise me.

Generally I'm terrible in the cup and good/decent in the league so maybe this is a season in which I do well in the Cup. It is a hard round and a lot will depend on the first Yes/No question.

No, you do not have to do so. You can if you want to test out your prediction to keep warm, but your answers will not be graded. You can also enter a 1v1 competition with another player over some mbtc or just a friendly match. In both cases I think you may have to manually check who wins it.

Interesting to see City with almost 50% selection, kinda expected it although the odds don't really support it. I think Newcastle won't lose at home, which would all but secure me a passage to R4.

With Guardiola kinda back to his usual roulette antics, you can never know what exactly to expect, but at least Man City are taking this quite seriously with the lineup they've put together and Semenyo does start for this one...

The only problem I fear is that Man City look very vulnerable and undermanned defensively, it's not going to be an easy one.

I have 5 different answers compared to slackovic, so this match up is surely not going to end early at all.

4 different answers with my first opponent leea-1334, should be a fun game. A bit disappointing that we have same Handball pick, that was the question I was most sure about. I think Norway should get us a win there with few goals to spare. France rarely forces it in early rounds, they are usually just collecting points and Iceland shouldn't be that good. Didn't see handicaps yet but if I were writing them I would put France on 6.5, Iceland on 6.5, and Norway on 9.5.

The cup is continuning with the 3rd round and it looks like I'm facing welovebit. After many bad results in a row in Division 1 we want to win the cup match to get some motivation for next matches.

I see we have 3 different answers with my opponent except the penalty question. I took a risk and went for Chelsea to win the EFL Cup match. I hope it would be worth it.

That was just the exact kind of start I needed to kickoff the cup round, Semenyo already looks rather good for Man City  but how sustainable would be his starting spot for long term.

I feel confident about the next question as well, I don't think if Freiburg manages to no lose to Leipzig the game would go over 3.5 goals, so maybe this could get really good for me early enough.

That early point from the EFL match is so big for us that it might be enough to push through the next round if we can hold out for one more question.
