Last night I had a huge scare. It was around 6 PM (GMT), and I was outside when I suddenly realized I hadn't submitted my answers. It took me a couple of minutes to realize that the new season hasn't started yet lol.

But I'm not sure if you will get a part for this new season, because looking at the spreadsheet the number of participants in each division is already at the same number of 18 participants.

This is really great news! I don't know how could anyone not like this rewards. Of course that we are getting bigger and better every season since the BSFL is the best competition in this forum. There are other that come close, but this one is definitely the best! Once more, greay job for organizing!

Good that I managed to stay and survive, hopefully next season is not survival again because those top table rewards look frigging amazing. Bigger, better, may we see BSFL in 100 seasons I just calculated I could actually live that long lol

Evil fee

• In case a member got disqualified in any of the previous seasons and wants to join again, he is returning from the lowest possible Division.
  The initial penalty for participating again is a 0,5 mBTC 'evil fee' that is returned to the player at the end of the season if the player submits the answers for all rounds on time.
  If he fails to do so once half of the fee is kept and if he fails to do it more than once, the full evil fee is kept and shared between all the teams that secured promotion from the lowest Division in that season.
• If a player gets disqualified again, each subsequent time the evil fee is doubled, so becomes 1mBTC, then 2mBTC etc.

In short, you pay a 0.5 mBTC fee to enter and if you have a clean season (no failed submissions), you get it returned at the end of it.

Rainbet paid the 9.200$ - it amounted to 131.25 mBTC. When we add the buyins and penalties, we reach the budget of 194.6 mBTC.
It was received at a time BTC was around 70k$ so that will be the basis for our rewards calculation.

We actually envisioned it even last season that last few people in Div 4 will be thrown out and new people will come in, in case there are new submissions. Those that are out are in some sort of waiting room to get their chance again in the next season. When there is enough people waiting we make Div 5

But then this season there were several that went out by not submitting, and it will probably be the same every season.

I would have said I'm more like Liverpool but I'm not struggling to be relevant this season, and I didn't over for players transfers and neither am I dwelling in mediocrity... Don't worry by the end of the coming season, my team would send a few invites to your club owners to come see a what league parade looks like, and it won't be considered conflict of interest since your team won't be in the first division

They will sponsor Season 9 with 9.200$ and an additional 3.700$ in freebets which is a slight increase in USD value compared to the last season

We already collected most of the buy-ins, they total 61.2 mBTC, and an additional 2.185 mBTC in penalty fees have been collected for the new season.

Well, it can always be worse. You could have had to pay some kind of a fee or a sidebet. I'm happy with my 0.1 mBTC reward not because it's a lot of money (it's definitely not), but because I don't have to pay anything to anyone.

Btw, this has got to be the most boring week when it comes to competitions that I'm participating in. BSFL is on pause and there are no football league games this weekend. I can't wait for the new BSFL season to start on Monday!

Prizes are getting bigger and bigger, and that is nice—especially since I managed to break through Div. 2. Now, only one more promotion and I'm in the skies, unless we go through some crisis and get relegated .
