Man everyone is so excited with the cup prizepool now but we all know once the cup start rolling, atleast more than half of us would take the cup round lightly  . Happen most of the time to me, I keep convincing myself that I would do better on cup but I ended up taking less effort than I normally do

I have just paid the entry fees for Season 9. It seems that DV3 clubs are much stronger than those in DV4; nevertheless, I will work on facing them and earning points to promote to the next division. So, you'd better be ready to face me!

yeah you're actually right, when the cup round comes, most people will say (I say it every season) "Ahh finally the cup round now I can relax" 😂 I'll try to do better, but it also depends on how the league goes before the cup round starts😁

Lol, BSFL usually take around 5 months and with everything going on around the World, I doubt BTC would be anything near 90k before the end of the upcoming season ends.

it will start on Sunday when the questions officially goes live, I'm sure everyone will start getting several mentions from tomorrow when the season 8 Archive begins, and possibly the first series of fixtures schedule.

Nah since its 1 round per week and we had 17 rounds last season, that means its gonna be atleast 17 weeks so 4 months. Thats excluding cup rounds that we will get in between the league rounds so we are lookin for 20+ weeks atleast since the start of the season

World Cup is on mid June till mid July right? so yeah season 9 gonna include World Cup games in it

Regular Season 9 should cover most, if not all the World Cup.
Seasons are usually 20+ weeks long and WC starts in less than 3 months.

We do have some good WC ideas, we'll start pitching them soon. There needs to be a dedicated WC competition.

I am sure we are going to one or more prediction pool competitions dedicated to upcoming World Cup,
but I dont think all questions in BSFL should be only for world cup matches, and I am sure Snake is going to add his DOTA and other games he likes
Lets first finish WC qualifications and than we can move to final tournament.

I have sent in my entry fee to the escrow wallet in the OP.I was wondering if we can have a preseason like system maybe a week or two before the start of a new season. It will integrate new players joining, allow for friendlies to be played and give existing players a warm up, less chance of failed submissions for the proper start of the season.

Good god, it will be nice to have something to do on Sunday. Heard about the top secret Cro2 plans for World Cup and I'm backing that for sure, even if I know I'll win it too easily. If there’s something I’m glad about for the new season is that, we didn’t get 2 full weeks of international football question and no Formula 1 question to kick start the season either, I feel bad for whoever my first opponent would be.
