It's now 7 frames to the good for Zhao, there is definitely no stopping him, and for once in BSFL we'd have the infamous pick of Zhao and Trump finals, that's often the pick when both players are involved in a tournament, but I can't remember it ever happening for them to meet in the finals. My opponent and I would be on the opposite sides of coin in that one, I'd really like for Trump to win, it would be a LMS point and getting level in the league duel for me.

Thanks to City win I now have 4-3 lead vs Trofo and with only one different answer left, I secured at least a draw. Draw in Madrid tonight is exactly what Trofo needs, which means a perfect hedge opportunity for me.

What a way to start this new season... My opponent leads 3-0 and I have no way to even equalize the round, let alone win it. I know I used to have bad starts in the season, but this is really an awful way to start it. On the bright side, things can only turn for the better from now on for my team.

The only thing left in this round is to get at least two correct answers to survive the LMS.

It is 9 frames down now for Zhao, he needs one more to win it be a perfect score. This makes me confident for the final and the chance to get the points there. Trump will be an entirely different opponent but Zhao looks determined to defend the title.

I think it will be the first leg at the UCL. If it is a bad scoreline he could be sacked to see if they can save their season somehow. If he survives that I will be certain he is staying till the end of the season.

@Renato297 looks like I will lose the snooker question. I had high hopes for Selby judging from some stuff I read about him, but he didn't even make it close to the final, very bad run of results caused by 'research' and I just really regret not going for Trump and Xintong as the seeds and odds were supporting.

Sometimes, you just have to trust yourself, but then last season doing this almost got me relegated! So frustrating

I like my Zhao pick after today, maybe that will be what brings me LMS safety. Atletico probably won't now after the red card.

Come to think of it, has there ever been a 0-0 draw in BSFL?

There were a few 1-0 wins but I think we never had 0-0. We did in a few occasions when 2 teams that are out of BSFL play against each other, but that's the only ones I can remember.

That red card late in the first half is so unlucky. It was looking so good in the first half, and Atletico Madrid just had to play a man down heading into the second half.

Different strokes for different folks, with that Barcelona victory, I have officially survived LMS for this round, now I have to begin to hunt for my league duel points which begins with me having Illinois and Arizona while my opponent have the opposing teams.

UConn and Illinois should get us started with the final four in about 30 minutes.

Just checked the spreadsheet and worked out the basketball results and snooker from yesterday/last night. Think I’ve done enough to win as my opponent can’t do enough to get a draw. Still a low scoring round for me though, must do better in match week 2.

The way Trofo started the round (3 out of 3), I thought my chances were minimal, but Team Rikafip managed to rise to the occasion and beat a worthy foe. I lost some money in the process, but it was worh it.  

I have to say its a nice feeling to start the Sunday knowing that you already secured a win, so you can focus on other things.

Must have been tough to convince yourself that the game will not with BTTS. @Kokee same, not bad! I never thought it was going to be such a bad game, hardly any big chances.
