It's simple.
In regular questions, you get a freebet point for each correct answer and in h2h questions, you get freebet point if you are the best (or one of the bests) in your own division.

Finally, the player with the most freebet points get the freebet.
In the case multiple players have the same freebet points, the winner is the one who has the most correct answers in the h2h question(s) that none of them earned freebet point from.
If two or more players are still tied, the winner is the one who submitted the answers earlier.

I am actually looking ok in my duel, even leading it at the moment. I have a terrible round but still was good enough to get first H2H point in my duel. But 0 points in LMS look quite poor. Don't want rebuying that early in the season even if they are dirt cheap.

I guess it is a coin flip and hedging doesn't really make much sense. You would have to win them both to beat me, but odds aren't very great. It's a bit under 2.0 for both and I don't feel like it's worth it to spend money on it.

And what's more, we both are still fighting to stay alive in LMS. Sinner and Alcaraz still doing great, could be a point for both of us. Hopefully that'll be the case.

Man City to win and over 2,5, I am not too sure about that, but felt like the best pick to me. It's going to be close either way.

Thank you, I know if I read the rules properly,,, I would understand, but my point was to the newbie users, do not worry too much about reading the rules and just play the game and allow mafia to calculate

So thanks to you now I have read the rules properly,,, but my point was you actually do not need to if you trust mafia to take care of everything as it should. Thank you tho

In other words, basically if you are one of the few people to win LMS point for your H2H, then you have a good chance to win the freebet also, I would say.

As Trofo said, this part of the rule about tiebreaker is so obscure I would only know if I wanted to read and actually,,, not so simple as it is not a natural tiebreaker to think of

I badly needed that Dortmund win for the LMS point, and they somehow sold that home match. 

At this rate, I might need to prepare the fee for next week since I wouldn't be surprised to see the City game go under or the UFC question end up with "No".

This was like lamest duel of all times. So far I have 1 LMS point and guaranteed win in BSFL  Round 1 I started with 3/3 correct answers and lost in the end, this one I started with 0/4 and won. Just shows how important the pairings can be in BSFL. Would say good game, but it wasn't for either of us.

I guess my continuous points winning in this round is a testament to how unfair the first round of fixtures was to me, I sure should be 6 points to the good for this season, but there is no point crying over spilled milk. It's looking real good for me for the freebets and in the LMS right now, and at the same time I already have my eyes on who my next opponent (victim) is going to be.

It’s only 2:0 for me this round, but once again, luck was on my side and brought me the victory. Unfortunately, my opponent is having quite a tough week, and I’d like to wish him all the luck in the upcoming round. It was a bad round, but things can turn around very quickly.

My team had a very good start in this round and a nice 3:0 lead and it seemed like I had a sure win.
However, first I completely mispredicted the results of the conference and Europa League., then Dortmund let me down, and now Atalanta just lost at home to Juve and my lead has been reduced to 3:2 and a very uncertain final is ahead.
By the end of the round, me and my opponent have 2 different answers, and it will be crucial for the final victory.
I have to hope either that Manchester City will beat Chelsea or that Sinner will win the tournament in Monte Carlo.
I'm getting a little nervous.

That was some crazy work from Atalanta, 20+ shots and no goals converted, while Juventus only produced 7 shots for the 1-0 win.  

It'll be a miracle if we can secure all the remaining points for survival, but i'm thinking of hedging if Prochazka delivers with a KO win.

Thanks to Juventus with the scrappy but very important win, I could care less about how they win as far as they got it done which is all that matters, the next match to hunter for another LMS point is the UFC which I’d definitely love to see end in a win for Jiri.

My match against my opponent is currently tied 1-1. We have two different answers to two questions on Sunday. On the tennis question, I expect an Alcaraz victory, while he expects a Sinner win. In the Chelsea vs. City match, I predicted Chelsea to stay undefeated with over 2.5 goals, while he chose a City victory. I hope I can get a win this week. Sunday is crucial for my team.

Not bothered to check for anyone with a perfect answer but 4/5 in a H2H usually gets a good shout for an LMS point, no?

This time 4 correct answers were not enough for getting LMS point.
I see Hhampuz have answered all 5 parts of the fifth question correctly and he is the only player who gets LMS point from that.

Ah, yeah, knew someone was bound to get it, though 4/5 is usually good enough half of the times.

Just looked and won some lost some, took a point from Bayer's win, lost 1 from Juve's win. Still, better situation than last week for me, so I got quite a bit of fight left in this, eh MAAmanda? Edit: just checked, even if you win the City one to draw 3-3, I've got Sinner-Alcaraz and you tried a dark horse so... I win!
