Thanks to the "all no" answers in the fourth question, I finally managed to get two correct answers and minimize my opponent's lead to only one point. I also got one point in the 7th question, while Smartvirus doesn't have any points to I'm close to a draw. There is still enough different questions for me to turn this round in my favor.

I just woke up and immediately went to check the spreadsheet. I have finally had few good answers so I cought up with you. We are tied, but I think that I got one NBA team right and you have zero. I still have to check last night results. I'm lazy to do it on my phone so I'll wait for the boys to grade that answer.

I saw someone mentioning that he started getting correct answers after getting kicked out of the LMS. Maybe that's the reason I started picking up points because I too didn't rebuy.

Hornets probably played two of thier worst game in month or so , they were flying high before that. Suns got the win , warriors can't do anything if they ain't hitting 3s , also in another news scott foster again made a baskeball game about himself & ejected both draymond & booker

OK I'm currently leading 4-1 but nothing is secured still three different predictions.

Hornets comfortably won the last 3 games they played against each other this season (last one being ~month ago) so that's why bookies are giving them advantage.

The randomness of basketball really gets to me sometimes man, I promise myself all the time I will not follow what is the main odds logic but just pick 50/50 and still I listen to odds

The NBA question was actually one of the easiest to answer, because all you had to do in order to maximize your chances is to pick 7th and 8th ranked teams from each conference, as those teams have 2 chances to qualify for the playoffs. It may not end that way ofc, but it makes most sense.

That's why so many went with Portland, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Orlando.

True but I did this in tennis and snooker a lot, and it is not the right strategy a lot of times. I understand basketball even less and the problem with seeds seems bigger in this type of sport (high scoring points with a ball lol) so I tried to be too smart about it, and follow odds.

This logic also applies in the egames BSFL likes to do, where the tops get double chance but in this case I really could not draw the comparison.

What I SHOULD have known is @Trofo will do this simple 'best chance' strategy and just match him

Iirc play in tournament started during 2019/2020 season as a way to make things more interesting by making more teams capable of reaching playoffs, meaning fewer of them tanking when they realize that they can't reach playoffs. So now more teams have something to play for, and ofc it makes NBA more money.

Yeah right, you're extremely lucky this was supposed to be a round for me to pull create a decent advantage, but then where is the fun If I win what is meant for whole season before midway through to the season right ?

Atletico Madrid have equalized after going behind inside the the very first minute, they should be able to seal this thing in regular time, I believe, of course except the decide to go ahead and 1 or 2 red card which wouldn't be surprising.

I expected draw in this match so I didnt win another point, so I am not sure this will be enough to stay in LMS competition.
