To win your match, you need to have two correct answers in the first three penalty questions and it won't matter to you whether West Ham will take the lead or not.

Note that penalties we have in the cup are like penalties in a real football match. Players first go for 5 penalties and if they are tied, they go for the sixth penalty. If they are still tied, they go for the seventh penalty.
Since you and your opponent have three different answers in the first five penalty questions, whatever happens, the winner will be decided without any need to sixth to eighth penalties.

Well....doesn't look too convincing but Newcastle's win odds keep drifting from odds-on to over evens which gives me a little hope!

Well if West Ham are gonna win this one it is only going to be 1-0 or 2-0 so you made the right call on this set of results.

You practically bet on a correct score of 1 or 2 zero,,, sojumaster!

But actually, all you need is Newcastle not to score 1st half. Then either under or no Newcastle win and you are done! Because you will win or lose by question 3 before you reach West Ham

It’s quite an achievement really, to have different answers in four out of five questions.

Second round starts tonight and my opponent and I have 3 different answers so a little wiggle room I need Liverpool to win since he has Aston Villa and I essentially picked a draw which I usually don't do so can't really see it happening now so yeah. My Celtics pick I feel good about but damn they got so lucky hopefully it carries over and they can win outright on the weekend, then finally the Roma game needs to go over to get a point so we shall see. Grin

Very boring BSFL cup days for me and there is no action, but I think that I have small advantage in Celtic vs Hearts match.
I dont remember the last time I saw so little green color in BSFL spreadsheet like in First Round, but things are about to change in next round.
It is finally time for me to win something this season and lets start with a Cup.

You may secure your qualification for the next round of the cup tomorrow with only one correct answer. That will happen if Aston Villa beats Liverpool tonight and Hearts doesn't lose against Celtic tomorrow.

I had my doubts about what kind of team was gonna put Emery as starters since they have nearby the final of the Europa League so i dont fully know if he was gonna save someone for that game or if he was gonna put everything now to secure the Champions League spot and also gift a nice win to his fans against Liverpool.

Now i see he put it all.

Villa with the lead ! Now my Liverpool to win answers looking pretty bad as this game could totally end with a draw. Villa going to secure the UCL ticket with this win and the imagine if Bournemouth ended up getting the last ticket to UCL. I doubt this, but there is a small possibility for that

The first 4 rounds are boring for sure. I only got 1 different answer with my opponent then its straight penalties for us. There isnt that much hype in the earlier rounds compared to league

Eh, after that opener, I knew it wasn't going to be my day. Was idiotic of course, but one can't help but put the pick where one's heart lies, hm? Liverpool just had to continue being a waste of space in the EPL, I can't believe I had them to win thinking they should e able to capitalize on a team that should have their eyes mostly set on the Europa league final, but instead it's Liverpool that's fighting for top four finish that's unable to win, now the score is 1-0 in favor of my opponent with 3 different answers to, surely not a good start for me.

Damn I just hate Liverpool this season.. I knew right away when I saw Liverpool lineup that this was not going good.. If they had won, I would won some really nice profit and 1 LMS point Damn!!! And why the hell is Slot still in liverpool?

Celtic is supposedly the better team here but, seeing how they struggled against Motherwell, coming from behind to take the lead after conceding first and was later equalized at 2:2 before by a stroke of luck, they managed to end the game on a 2:3 win for Celtic, while Heart was having a seamless performance, just enjoying their game with Falkirk and with a trophy at stake, they certainly wouldn’t want to cave in for Celtic although, it would be really difficult playing from away side.

Rangers are in second place with 69 points and their next game is against Falkirk. Should Celtic beat Hearts and Rangers beat Falkirk, we just might have missed the question on the title.
