A very good day in the office for me, I got 2 of today’s questions correctly with Celtics winning the title and Stuttgart despite blowing a 2 goal lead securing a 4th place finish, now I have the lead 2-1 with just Roma left, I went with Roma and Over 2.5 goals, while my opponent went for Roma and Under 2.5, so like mafia said, all I technically need is for Lazio to score, or Roma with a heavy victory, that’s surely not too much to ask for.

A very uncertain match. Celtic, with great refereeing help, won the last round of the Scottish championship and in this last match they secured victory only in the last minutes of the game.
I expected a bigger victory for Manchester City. Unfortunately, you were luckier than me here.
Now my last hope is a minimal victory for Roma.

You get it, that’s what I hoped to see and not just stale the league table while the games go on. If Hosemary didn’t drag my attention to what was before my eyes, it was already looking very confusing since, it’s a league I don’t give much attention.

Celtic did manage to beat Hearts and they’ve got the title. Good for me in my questions but, to be Hearts right now, loosing the league title with the last game, crazy! It pays to be the better team.

At first I got 1-0 behind because of Liverpool's losing to Aston Villa away. I thought maybe Emery wouldn't risk some of his main players because of the Europa League finale in a few days.

But I was wrong about it. Thankfully Celtic won the match and title both after. Now it is tied at 2-2 against my opponent LTU_btc. It looks like the winner of this match is going to be decided with penalties.

Another disappointing result: we failed to qualify for the second round in this first season. The performance is the worst; we need better results, but nothing positive is happening. Hopefully, the team will try to fight back after the end of this cup round because if they keep playing like this, survival is going to be impossible.

I was expecting Aston Villa to win, but not like this. Liverpool is badly down and out in this game. Their offense was playing like crap. Two goals from the defender and four goals conceded mean they have no depth in any field, but surprisingly Arne Slot is going to stay; it's terrible.

This was easier than expected in the end. My under 21 women's team had some nerves in the first half when paco92x took the lead 2:1, but then half time drugs pep talk did it work. Perfect 4/4 was too much for both paco92x and EarnOnVictor and I am entering Sunday with two wins under my belt 

Now back to the league, need this sort of performance there as well. My main team could get some surprise additions if this continues.

Both of us at 4/4 and we even got the same answer on the last question. So now everything is decided by the H2H, because we picked completely different sides there.
We went opposite directions on that one so somebody is moving on and somebody is not. No complaints, we both picked our side. Let's see how it plays out.

Advancing in the cup is indeed difficult because of the knockout system and also only 5 questions, it is often determined by penalties and this becomes just a matter of luck. 
As far as I remember, the best cup result was only up to the semifinals. If we have reached the quarterfinals we have already secured a prize, but semifinals are better because the prize is cash.

If anybody wins it from playing Round 1 it is a huge feat indeed,,, to get 'lucky' so many times, consecutively, and therefore quite a worthy prize.

I think I reached quarterfinals also but never more than that, I usually do not expect to get far so progressing to round 3 would be quite nice for me,,, for me and my opponent @mv1986, there will be no penalties unless Lazio draw or win since we are both 2-2 and have picked a different side of Roma over/under,,, and right now at 1-0 it is extremely, extremely, extreme!

Not sure why I went with Lazio for tomorrow's game, and that's the one that will decide my Cup destiny.
To be honest - I feel like they'll at least score in the derby and if they do - my opponent can't get a point with Roma to win + under 2,5 either.

It's a crucial game for Roma who has been great at home this season - and conceded only 10 times in 18 home games. Lazio is on holiday - but it's the derby after all.

Lazio double chance... is a surefire pick for me on a normal day. But already going with Liverpool and then with Hearts, I thought, I can't roll the dice all the time. Roma win and under 2.5 also only happened 3 times in their last 15 games, and all against lesser opponents. I thought, like you, Lazio had to score so over 2.5 was the wiser choice.

So I listened to the wisdom, right? No, I didn't haha.

That double sending off shortly after Roma's second is what probably saved me... this shouldn't have been an under 2.5 methinks otherwise. Hate that I watched when I told myself I'm not going to stress myself today.
