The situation is now better than a few rounds ago with 7/9 points, and now we are a few points above the relegation battle. But still, we need to stay focused as it can spiral very quickly—the Div. 2 teams are not to be toyed with, they come at you hard. Will study the questions for this week a little and submit them later.

Submitted my replies this round, looking not easy but still doing my best for having another win. This could be an important win because teams want to come out of trauma, too many defeats, and poor results in this season, but this is good experience with a better understanding of games that will give confidence.

@ovcijisir good luck for this round. We both need this win. Hopefully, things will be interesting because I am not well aware of a few sports, but still, hopefully, this will give me another win. The last 4 rounds need good results.

Ufff man i thinked i was not gonna spend so much time submitting but i ended up having to check at least the names of the sportsman involved to submit some of the answers plus in some cases i really dont know nothing about the sport involved in geneal, lets hope i can win this round but is gonna be a hard one for my team.

Thanks for the tag, yes waiting for tennis, and no am not sure that even really has a true impact on outcome (WTA, go figure), but that badminton question is actually a pretty good quandary for us to get stuck in!

I have just submitted my picks. With European football starting again after the World Cup, the questions were naturally a bit football heavy, but there were also several rather exotic sports included, at least from my perspective.

Now I will see whether I researched well enough to collect some points this week and with a little bit luck the win Tongue

I submitted my answers as earlier and I saw that my dear opponent is yet to do the same, to be honest at this rate and current position my team is in, I wouldn't mind a free pass, but too mafia reminder might have done more harm than good for my team.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the spreadsheet being unlocked, with or without my opponent's answers of course.

I submitted my answers early but hmm didn't feel quite confident but anyways a new round and new opponent can't let the smell of last week's defeat get me down after this round only 3 left so have to lock in and remain focused on the goal which is promo back to the promise land, as for my opponent Dittoup good luck and let's have a great week. Damn, the worst possible round for me to do this in a hurry. Had 10 minutes to do it, thought it would be enough, ended up submitting without even investigating Waterpolo and barely having a look at tennis draws.
10 minutes is usually more than enough - this time after a very long time some of my answers will depend on pure instinct.

Happy to see that waterpolo answers are same as vd309's. Felt that he might have an edge there.

Only 4 different answers though including 2 H2H on the weekends. Its kinda surprising that we only have 4 different answers considering that this is a pretty tough set of questions. Expecting atleast half to be different but 4 will do for now, just need to hit the first two on both Conference and Europa League. This Vardar / Riga teams are gonna cost me the first point, I can already see this coming

This is the first time it has taken me this long to research the questions and submit my answers. It was a complete shock to the system to go overnight from football giants like Spain, Argentina and France straight into badminton, water polo and who knows what else. It feels like jumping right off the World Cup pitch and landing headfirst into the Olympics. On the bright side at least I now know who the best badminton player in the world is!

I knew I had to take my time and do as much research as possible for this round. I can't afford to get eliminated back to back in LMS after just paying that buy back fee. On top of that I’m facing a direct rival in my H2H match who is also fighting for the top 3 spots in the league standings, so there is no room for stupid mistakes.

I definitely had to throw a prayer up to the gods before hitting submit this time, with all these obscure sports thrown into the mix, this week could end up being even more of a disaster than the last one!

I was just a few minutes away from missing out on the deadline. I had started filling the form earlier, I then switched tabs to research a little on the final question which I had no idea about and forgot I was answering the questions, was only reminded when the time was almost up.

Lots of guess work in my answers this time, questions are tough picking and I'm up against someone at the opposite end of the table. I will need lots of luck to get a result here.

I'm just glad that I have a lot of different answers with my opponent this time around cause last week was hard as hell and so far the Hearts game is looking alright need them to keep up and score some goals then at least my opponent can't get any points, cmon Hearts!!!!! Grin

Just 2 different answers between me and cls63 with one of the questions being the women tennis question which we are probably both going to get wrong, it’s going to be not just a boring and quick round, but also one were who ever gets the first edge would likely go ahead to win it, hopefully I’ll make it 2 wins in a row.
