F you Medvedev! Now I need Shelton to lose just to draw.

Tennis always made me feel unsure about my picks, this time i went with full yes in every one of the guys playing, i dont feel like they can lose against any of their potential opponents since they are all weak and until after the monday i dont think they are gonna have a serious contender in front of them. But you made me check this time if Shelton lose, thanks to god it was not the case and he i still alive in the tournament.

2 down, 3 to go. There's simply no consistency with these idiots, they've got the Tsitsi disease so badly now I can no longer shame the Greek the way I used to when few others are capable anyway.

No consistency whatsoever, and Medvedev is biggest clown of them all, if you ask, I could careless about how far Shelton goes now, since it's of no benefit to me...

I should have just stick to a draw between Helsinki and Motherwell, but thankfully no harm done, as my opponent doesn't know any better, and POAK could still do well enough to get me back in the lead if they're able to secure a win against Anderlecht.

I already lose that point since cryptfker has 3 no and two of them are  Medvedev and Fritz so is over for me in that question, as i said in my previous post i can expect someone to lose that is always a thing to happen in life but how 3 of the top seeds can lose in their very first game against weak rivals and in some case with all in his favour like i pointed before with Fritz who also has the surface he like.

Now im really against the ropes in this round, after also losing the first question and with only 3 diferent answer remaining between us.

Oh, I thiught that I'll start this round one point behind Kokee44, but Anderlecht managed to win the game without conceding. I really thought that PAOK will score a goal, but thankfully they didn't. It looks like this round will again be a low scoring. However it ends up, I need to win to stay in the 2nd place.

4 questions have been left behind so far. I'm still in the lead by 2-0 now. I was really afraid of the PAOK-Anderlecht one though. Because the away side scored in the first minute already but thankfully my opponent didn't manage to predict it.

We still have many more different answers to go of course. But I'm happy with the performance of my team so far.

It will be a really important victory for us if we manage to make use of the score advantage.

Could have been a worse situation - I'm also doing well in LMS with potentially an important point in tennis on the cards there.

BSFL especially tennis caused me a sleepless night

Thanks to De Minaur's choke I secured a LMS point and the lead in my BSFL match!
Not sure but this match had some WTA-vibes.......just like Medvedev against van de Zandschulp yesterday.
I mean the amount of breaks and rebreaks

OK got it wrong overlooked that el che can win the LMS point in tennis!

That upset from Meddy also cost me a point, but at least there's still the EFL Cup question and the other H2H question that could turn the tide of the round.

I almost trailed by two with that Conference League question, and it's a relief that it got denied with Helsinki forcing a draw. If not, I might've been forced to win those last two turning points.

You weren't actually at disadvantage as I also had "yes" for Zverev, and since Medvedev also lost, that means you get point from that question.
The more I think, the more I am sure that from now on I will just automatically put "No" to everything for this type of question because more often than not, that brings points, instead wasting time and looking at draws to see who can play against who etc.  

I said slight because I had Shelton and he passed his first game, and I think he really is quite good, I just didn't like how he did in the previous tournament and thought maybe he could be saving everything for the real thing.

But yes! This Yes No is hard believe me I have gone all No before and it didn't work out. I've gone all Yes also, and this time mixing it up worked. Who knows!!

Motherwell managed to take the lead yesterday and managed to lose it in a manner of minutes. A shame that at the end we didn't see a victory for HJK, as then my opponent and I would have been equal. But now he leads and also has a lead in our H2H first tiebreaker. If Shelton wins tonight, it's already a defeat for me and the weekend hasn't even started.

There might be a very slim chance that he would play as well tomorrow, although very unlikely and that would also be heavily dependent on how soon Fonseca vs Ruud get concluded, because that would be starting later tonight that should starting be 7-8pm Montreal local time.

Why I said very unlikely is because there are at least for other matches for the round of 16 that have been confirmed, that are currently schedule for Saturday, where I would expect 2 for the afternoon session, then 2 for the session as well, that would ultimately push the Shelton schedule to Sunday...

Yes you are super close to the victory against me right now to be fair.

I cant believe how even before the second game for each one we already have 4 players in the tennis questions already gone, a complete disaster for them and also for the tournament itself, is not a good thing to lose your top seeds so early, maybe a lot of people who buy tickets is gonna be pissed.

Looks like I may lose this round, 2-1 down so far but looking like I will lose the first head to head of the round which would make it 3-1.

My promotion hopes are fading fast.

I am only going to be sure what will happen to my promotion hopes by Sunday,,, as well as LMS, but I really hope you make it, you have been too far down for too far long, and it was a lot of bad luck IMO.

@hosemary did you see the absolutely insanely outrageous comeback of Norrie yesterday? That's unbelievable, but this is how the season went for me so far.

I placed a hedge bet when the odds for Norrie to win were at 17.50 and combined it with Portsmouth not to lose. $1 gives me $46... I didn't place the bet when the odds for Norrie to win against de Minaur were at 65.00. When the odds were that high, I thought that even a dollar is a waste because de Minaur can't lose it and yet he did. That pretty much kept you in the game this round.

Is this confirmed? I went with 'No' fully expecting Shelton to play the R16 match before the deadline.

His match is starting soon, that will be Friday 3PM local time. His potential opponents (Ruud/Fonseca) play later today.

Plenty of time for them to play tomorrow evening local time. What am I missing?

Even at this early stage of the weeks questions I am cooked. Best I can hope for is a draw and if Wrexham avoid defeat with over 2.5 goals then I am guaranteed a loss.
