You don't need to pay attention to any coin ads from famous people on Twitter at all. This is their business, they make money on it, luring naive investors to buy this or that project. They make money, while investors lose their money. Very often these Influencers advertise all sorts of gaming projects, NFTs or memcoins. All this is not worth your attention and money. These are all garbage projects that will never bring good profits to their investors. Only to those who bought before the appearance of such advertising from a known account.

I don't follow Twitter promotion for whatever reason and infect I don't have an account on Twitter,  but the thing is if you ever fine yourself in a situation we're you need to make an investment decision,  you should do your own research (DYO).

Twitter influencers are just after the money and they can promote almost anything as long as the project can pay their fees.

There’s a lot of fake promotions in social media and even celebrities, some of them promoted a scam project and they are aware of it. Promotions is fine but of course it is still your job to analyze the project before you invest because not all are worth to buy. If you are going to buy new projects don’t look for any promotions because all you can see is the hype about the project, try to analyze deeper.

It amplifies the need for investors to do their complete research before investing in newly launched projects. Even the person you had been admiring or following on social media platforms can be just promoting a scam. So apply some common sense next time instead of blindly following the expert financial advice of these gurus. Another platform, where this abuse frequently happens is YouTube where creators promote number of fake projects.
I don't understand. Is it not a widely known fact that Tik-tok, instagram, youtube and Twitter influencers are getting paid for tweeting?
I am not sure if i am more surprised about the fact that his promotions are so cheap or that anyone listens financial advices from someone whose job is to be choked, kicked and hit in the head.
"Must be a financial genius. Take my money!"
It is common knowledge at this point, people who think that they unearth some amazing new information are people who have been here for not so long or people who have been here long enough but want to warn newbies.

Because if you are not a newbie, you know the fact that people get paid for these things, hell Kim Kardashian was just punished for exactly this recently and it is definitely a bad situation because it means there are so many people who gets paid for these things. In any case, I believe that we shouldn't be really worried about it at all and we should be focusing on something much better which is the fact that you could make a profit yourself, without needing these people.

Investment is always a personal matter.  And everyone takes only one idea from social media but smart investors always do their own analysis and don't just invest based on someone's advice and that's wise. Because those who promote a project or a product in exchange of money can never be completely trustworthy because they always promote a project or a product in exchange of money. So it is always better to do your own research and then invest somewhere
If someone ever invests with the help of others or social media, then it can be seen that he always has a lot of worries. I think if I lose all the money by investing with my own thoughts, I don't have any problem. And if someone's intelligence or social  Investing by looking at any site advertising from the media is often accompanied by the fear of losing money.  But if you invest with your own mind then you can reap a lot from here. There will be no chance of losing money later I think.
That is the point. Losing by your own knowledge is always better then depend on another guy knowledge. Social media is just a medium to get some ideas but social media post or any other source can never be reliable. Even if you make a mistake and face loss, you can learn something good from that mistake, but if you depend on others, you can never learn anything good. So one should always take any action through own analysis be it investment context or something else

I totally agree with your opinion, I think it would be a big mistake for a person to think of trading with advice from other people or from any social media. But if you trade with your own thoughts, you can learn a lot. I am a newbie.  I often lost money when I traded with many people's recommendations, but I learned a lot when I started trading on my own.

In my country even artist circles make new projects, and in the end the project doesn't work and everyone ends up blaspheming it.
We can't blame it all, because it all comes back to us, are we easily influenced or want to do our own analysis, because the decision is in our hands.

Fake promotions is now all over the internet and we can't actually stop them since fake projects are also doubling their efforts to pursue their promotions. Influencers are also not reliable because they only focus on earning money regardless of what they are promoting. Fake projects will use influencers because they have a bigger number of target community so it will be easy for them to reach out to their target victims. The only thing that we can do about it is just to be wise and as much as possible, we must avoid projects that have red flags.

Influencers on Twitter are mostly scams even though their accounts have been verified but they often share incorrect information. It's better to be right as you said, we don't trust easily, the main thing is to reset it yourself before we invest. Their target is beginners who want to get rich quickly with the lure of big profits.

Though Twitter is like the worst place to promote new projects as such. It started just as like platform for some small conversations through tweet replies. I can still understand Facebook being used since it has its own marketplace system like a simple buy/sell, but Twitter would be the last platform that I would promote my projects in if I were a business owner.

Considering that a lot of people there are claiming to be "crypto experts", I would not be surprised if my supposed project gets cancelled by people there just because of whatever they can take out from my history.

This is why there are so many scammers around crypto space. There are some countries that don't have a tight law about things like that, This is why I think scammers don't worry or not scared to scam people because they can easily disappear and never be held accountable of what they are doing. Of course as an investor you are partly to blame why you invested on projects that turned into scam. Scammers are just taking advantage of the ignorance that people have and other people characteristic such as financial illiteracy, greediness and other people vulnerabilities. This is why people who are giving advises or doing paid advertisement always use the word "DYOR" or do your own research because they don't want to feel accountable whenever anything bad happens on your investment.

This is another dirty tactic of the scammers, they are using social media platforms and known names to fulfill their plan as they know that it could easily encourage new investors to invest in their worthless project. Yes, they are just seeking for their success and their concern now is how to make money without thinking about what it cost the investors.

I think we need space from social media and not listen to them when talking about cryptocurrency. In fact, I consider social media not a reliable source of information.

They got so much influence that is why the fake projects are paying a big sum for them to promote it however the people here who is investing based on a celebrity feedback should be blamed here because how they can blindly follow anything said by the celebs and this is happening for centuries starting from every advertisements for product on television.

Social media is now a place for everything including being used to promote new projects that are done by everyone. Don't look at who is promoting the new project, because not all influencers can be held accountable for what they say.

Yes, influencers do what will make them profitable, it can be said that they only think about themselves without caring about how many people they will lose as a result of the promotion they are doing. Even some of them don't seem to know what they're promoting, it's something that can be found a lot nowadays.
But a new problem is emerging now, yes, now many people really trust the influencers they follow without re-analyzing them. When someone they trust says A they will do A, when they say B they will also follow suit.

It seems a shame that most of the Influencers on twitter are campaigning scam projects with high efforts to influence their followers to continue to earn profits. It's mind-boggling that so many people fall victim to such scams, and Influencers get away with this kind of thing without any legal consequences. For that you have to do your own research, don't use Influencers on Twitter or YouTube as the information base for investing.

It's money, what can we expect? They're going to take it of course regardless of the risk. A Youtuber with a fair amount of subs would bite into this and just disappear into thin air since they got their money and this is why content creators are not your friends at all.

If we're talking about investment, I won't be driven as such by these so-called influencers at all. There might be financial advisors out there, but it is waaayy different from your usual content creators that Youtube usually recommends in their algo.

It's sort of comforting to see people falling for the same tricks over and over. That reminds me that new investors don't learn from the mistakes of old investors and the circle goes on.
It makes me feel less bad for my own past mistakes of getting scammed when i see people falling for even more ridiculous scams.

That also means we can count on the fact there will be countless scams ahead with same exact emo. Nft scams, ico/ido/ieo scams, CEX exit scams, anon dev exit scams. Because masses won't learn anything. I need to have money ready for shorting when ever next big stablecoin fails or exchange gets hacked. Because those will happen. That's for sure.

I would understand the point, because every influencer does it so it is basically in the job title, influencers are there to influence people, and what do they influence about? Well, crypto influencers are there to influence about crypto, and how do they make a living? From projects paying them.

It is like how make up influencer promotes a make up product, or how a travel influencer promotes a hotel, it is very natural for them to promote projects. Even if that project is bad, that's how they make a living. However, what I do not understand will always be the people who invest into something because someone on twitter said it, why would you buy something just because some random influencer talked about it?

All these people must be forced to share if they got paid or not, that way it would be a lot easier to know if they really mean it or not. If you say it is paid promotion and then promote something, people would be able to see if you actually invested yourself, or are you just promoting because you got paid.

There are thousands of "influencers" on twitter that end up promoting stuff just because they got paid, and some of them do not even get paid in the token they promote, they got paid in USDT or BNB and promote the token. This is why it's not really a good idea to invest in them, and you should avoid it, but they make it look like they really like it and convince some people.

It is very important to always do your own research before committing your resources in any investment project be it promoted by an influencer or not. In the crypto space, some of the influencers may not even be knowledgeable in what they are promoting. At the end of the day, it is the investor that may lose his or her funds. Particularly for those who are new in the crypto space, so far as it is your hard earned money, why not make out time to do proper research?
