I think it would be perfect to bring this trading discussion. Are you addicted to trading? I am thinking that making profit from trading or making losses, there is a chance that some traders are addicted to trading. What are you doing naturally to stay away from trading addiction?

No, I'm not addicted to trading or even something like gambling. As far as I know about addiction in trading is if they are trading using high leverage to gain big profit and when they won once they will do it again without any knowledge, analysis, or even a plan. The worst thing is when they borrow the money from their friends and end up not paying back the loan.
That’s a worst addiction to tell. Well, I must admit I have been trading with addiction before and because I keep on chasing for bigger returns, the more i see myself constantly in losing. That’s why I decide to trade only when there is spare money to trade. And when I fail to secure it, then I never do trading, you will learn on how to avoid trading addiction and control your trading activities when you have an empty wallet so there’s no reason to trade.

If you do make yourself that greedy on where you are really trying out your best on changing your position size because you are in a hurry on getting those huge returns then this is where mistakes would

really be starting up.Until you do able to realize on how this market behaves and works then you could be able to handle up yourself and would really be sticking into that realistic approach rather than on

pursuing something which it isnt really just that easy for it to happen.Market is unpredictable and totally random and  there's no way that you could assure your profitability
yet this one involves skills and knowledge towards it and some sort of mix of luck on the time you do make out trades.

Trading addiction is a gradual stuff that develops over time knowingly and unknowingly if not taken care of at the appropriate time, if a trader happens to notice is becoming so addicted to trading, best thing to do is pause trading for some days in order to get your emotions back. Lastly, Greediness is a major factor that contributes to people trading often because they wants to gain everything and in the process lose everything .

To come up with that condition for sure a person is paying to much attention on what they are doing also they became knowledgeable trader for reaching that situation so quitting maybe a not good advice to be given if they are earning good profits with this since this is good addiction to take. The only situation where they need to stop if they lose and start to do unpleasant things maybe that should needed to take care with their relatives before it result to more worse situation.

I agree.

Sometimes it's not just about greediness, it's about the ego and also emotions at the same time. So the end is they will gone berserk, entering random trades with pure guess technical analysis hoping to gain back their losses but in the process, the truth is they are just piling up their losses instead because of their reckless decisions. And that's the time where they need help, a professional help, because their families or even relatives can't fix them.

If it did end up on an addiction and turns out to be beneficial or something that they could make money then of course it would be something worth on sticking it out because we know on how important on making or having an income via trade which not everyone could easily pull off.
I did really come into a point on which i do have that called addiction on trading which i cant really be able to resist on not to make up some trades even on just 1 day which i dont really skip out.
Even when it comes to chart or price checking then i cant just missed out any single moment because i dont really like on missing up something which it is really a solid indication that you
are really that addicted to it but this is somewhat on the positive side of things.

If addiction do falls on trading then i would really say that it is really better rather than on making yourself get addicted on gambling which we do know its different. The thing you do only avoid when having that trading addiction is that you shouldnt really be that impulsive when it comes into your emotion because this is something that would really be needed on check because it would really make out lots of errors and mistakes
which its a must thing to be avoided. This is where experience do really counts where on the time you do have the sufficient experience then you would really be able to find yourself
to sustain and survive this unpredictable market.
Of course, when compared to gambling addiction, it is better to be addicted to trading. In gambling we only rely on luck, while in trading there is science that governs whether we will experience profit or vice versa.
But the problem is when they are addicted, they will lose control over themselves, that is the real problem. They may be able to analyze well, but the analysis cannot be done in an uncertain emotional state, there must be calm within us to see maximum results.

Trading addiction, if I personally deal with it by stopping if you feel too obsessed. If you start to feel obsessed with trading or find it difficult to control your emotions, stop trading for a while. Talk to friends or family or seek information if needed.

Remember that trading is an activity that involves both risk and reward, and it is not suitable for everyone. Make sure we understand the risks associated with trading. This is also important, determine profit and loss targets before starting trading. If we hit our profit or loss targets, stop trading for the day immediately.

I think that some of us at some point have been through this trading addiction, but it passes quickly when the addiction turns into losses, because obviously we don't like to lose money, and here in trading there can be no addiction if it is loses money, because it is something that does not make sense, if we see it from the point of view that it is earned and earned, it is not so bad, it is something that can be given, and it is even something pleasant to do, but if the person loses and loses I don't see the taste, trading is not like gambling and I think many people confuse it, gambling is all luck, it is random, in trading it focuses more on knowing.

^It is a simple answer, take a break.
Taking a break would be definitely a good idea when you are in trading but you feel that you are coping with addiction.
Because for me, it could be trading addiction only becomes an issue when it causes a person to continue trading despite experiencing consistent losses, which can be detrimental to their finances and overall well-being. In short, you are too much greedy in trading and thinking too much profit or chasing your loss which makes your decision becomes worst.

Thats is alarming for all the crypto traders that have in this addiction , My personal experience is that we have to control our emotions in this field because if you come and trade like gamble then there is no any difference between a trader or a gambler And after the addiction is getting verse and you may lose all your wealth , So make limited number of trades and when your lose limit reaches stop trading .
Trading addiction isnt really that alarming as long you are still that in tact with your senses specially in regarding with financial control and making up positions sensibly without having that rush decision
on making up your trading orders. Dont chase up losses and this is the primary rule just like in gambling, we know that trading becomes a gambling on the time that you arent following any more rules
or analysis that you had able to make off and this is why it would really be just that right that you should really be that mindful on whatever actions you would be doing along the way.
Trading isnt gambling but it would become if you are really not doing those basic rules and conditions specially on trading career.

The reason why addiction is used here is because we all know how trading is,that is as risky as anything, and when one is trading without experience and knowledge, there is every tendency that the person will lose and continue losing. And in a case where the person doesn't want to learn or get someone who will mentor him on what to do in trading,he will definitely wallow in the inexperience and continuous failure, and the worst will be when he gets addicted to it as  a result of the thought that one day,he will win it big.And this same reason is why gamblers who are addicted to gambling find it difficult to leave, because your mind is all focused on the imagination that in as much as someone else has won it  big through gambling, yours will definitely come, forgeting the fact that grace differs.

I really don't get the concept of addiction especially with regards to trading and now remember that there are people who are professional traders,( people who live all their lives from trading profits.) And there is also a saying that one should love his work and have dedication to it and why does it now seems bad for someone to make trading an addiction provided there are profits associated with it.
I guess the only reason one should be checked or rehabilitated is if there is a continuation despite several severe losses in the market and maybe leading to borrowing to trade or selling to trade, then that person should be checked and not just allowed to trade because trading isn't illegal.
Traders should try as much as possible to watch their greed level and try not chase after their losses by so doing, might reduce the risk of negative addiction.

It doesn’t passes quickly for everyone. Many peeps are not getting over it in long run. They simply end up in huge loses because they keep trying to recover the previous loss and once they do their greed Never stops. They will again jump all in and try to make their way towards profit. I completely understand that one should keep trying hard but when it comes to trading, there is way to do it. There are skills to adopt and learn to tackle the repeating losses. You have to have proper knowledge regarding trading. Whether it is TA or simple FA, you can’t just predict the trade out of blue without them. Look at the rehab story, it clearly mentions at what gravity things can escalate in trading world. That’s why #hodl.

the financial market is designed to take advantage of human inefficiencies and cause many traders to lose money. being addicted is just one facet of the problem.

To avoid falling into a trading addiction, here are some tips:

Set clear trading goals: Define your trading goals and stick to them. This can help you avoid getting caught up in the emotional rollercoaster of trading.

Develop a trading plan: Create a detailed trading plan that includes entry and exit points, risk management strategies, and a clear understanding of the market you're trading in.

Limit your trading time: It's easy to get caught up in trading and lose track of time. Set a limit on the amount of time you spend trading each day to avoid burnout and addiction.

Take breaks: Take breaks from trading regularly to clear your mind and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Seek support: If you feel like you're struggling with trading addiction, seek support from friends, family, or a professional therapist.

Trading and gambling are completely different things because in gambling if you loss then you will be addicted to recover that losses but unfortunately you loss all your money but on the other hand in trading people use it for good purpose they don't get addicted but they perform it like a part time job. I will say that trading do not lead the people to wrong destination but the gambling  can do it. In trading when people just lost money for only two times they get rid of it because they don't have any knowledge whereas in gambling there is no need of any knowledge they think about something if it happens in their favor they win and if happens against their hopes so they loss. trading provides opportunities to those individuals who are jobless and cannot find job easily so they enhance their money through trading.

I think it would be perfect to bring this trading discussion. Are you addicted to trading? I am thinking that making profit from trading or making losses, there is a chance that some traders are addicted to trading. What are you doing naturally to stay away from trading addiction?
People get addicted to trading.
Is there a difference between that and developing an obsession for trading?
Trading doesn't offer any sort of intrinsic reward for people to get addicted to it.
Well, I know, one time when I was still learning, I would spend day and night on it. If I wasn't reading charts, then I was reading a book on trading or I was listening to my favourite trading podcast.

When things turns out to be too much or something that is really that more than on usual then it would be considered out as addiction because obsessions is something that could be having the similarity but of

course it would really be still in controlled manner since you could be able to know and be wary in towards your actions. You cant really just that able to resist because you know deep inside that dealing up with something like trading could give out that kind of benefit which is something that i do consider if i do see myself get addicted. It is really that there are people who couldnt really just make
out good decisions basing on what they are really that currently dealing with or whatsoever things that they would be able to encounter.

I read a news yesterday about a Spanish rehab center that is called 'The Balance', a Switzerland-founded wellness center, located in Spain. The Rehab center helps in treating of alcohol, drugs and behavioral health addictions. Recently it is adding trading addiction to its list and I was surprised to see that. You can read more about it:

The rehabilitation center cited estimates that about 1% of cryptocurrency traders will develop an "extreme" addiction to crypto trading.

Of course, I dealt with the trading addiction. But trading is a very serious addiction. Just like when people get into gambling it is very difficult to get out of it, so whether you get into futures trading or spot trading, if it becomes your addiction, it will be a little difficult for you to get out. Futures trading in particular is a very addictive platform. When your profits start coming in, your/my state of mind is so good that it is expensive to publish at home. However, it is not difficult to remove yourself from here.
I could say that I've almost fallen for trading addiction but compared to gambling, its risk is different. As long as you're skilled enough and know how to deal with the risks of trading, getting addicted to it will not give worse results. As long as you manage your finances wisely and trade with the confidence of making the right decisions, your addiction could still turn into generating profit.
I think trading addiction will only provide negative results if we are using most of our assets with no control and if we are risking everything just to fill our urges. It's fine to aim for higher profit but putting limits is still important. Trading is addictive but we should only take the positive side of it.
