Wetin e talk be say despite the new monetary policy wey oga Meffy don put for ground e nor go fit stop vote-buying during the election. Wetin be some of the new monetary policies? This year general election in Nigeria will be the worst election for vote buying. Okay look at it from this angle, now there is no money in circulation to the poor masses but nobody will tell me that no politician has enough cash in their houses for the forthcoming election. That was primaries and not a general election, the use of dollars no go work for general election as people no go gree accept am self. Nobody sabi how fake dollars or even sabi how the real ones dey so dem go believe say na fake currency dem dey give dem so that's if we think say na dollars dis people go fall back to use buy vote. I believe say this political dey work with banks already to hoard cash wey dem gi use in vite buying. The only thing this new policy do na to make am very difficult but e no make am impossible. Banks na thief and bank managers ready to work hand in hand with any politician wey go cut them better percentage.

Money is now more difficult for the common Nigerian to see. POS agents have reduced because of the unavailability of the new naira notes, banks no longer accept the old naira notes and some people are stuck with them, plus when person manage see the money, to withdraw your own money, the charges na die. We know say some of this stress wey common Nigerians dey face, big men nor dey see am like that, most of them wey get level well well dun already coordinate with bank, dem get the new notes already enough, and those in politics in preparation for the election.

The way things dy go, na two effects the current situation fit cause  to the matter of vote buying;
