Gambling has done more harm to our youths than good, Ok to an extent I will say it's true but it comes down to my own opinion, but if our youths will adhere to the terms and conditions of all betting companies by betting responsibly, say no to underage Betting and dont allow greed to take the better part of you whenever you are betting.
If you bet in greed you might end up loosing all your money, but if you bet wisely even if it's a small amount you win it's a plus to , so betting responsibly is what every bettorust adhere to to avoid the harmful side of Gamble.

I'm OK with occasional bet, maybe once in every six months or more. And if they must bet they should be supervised by responsible people. And the  stakes and the rewards in bets for underage/children shouldn't necessarily be financial. They could win good books by staking some valuable points on right answer/solution to issues.

Either betting or gambling money is involved and it's a 50/50 thing you might win or loose,the money invested in this can be used for other things if you are looking from the negative effects it has had in our youths, I Normally see some youths in a Betting shop that will be looking so unkept but still bring out money to get and gamble, and most times they loose it and they will still bring another money and repeat the process, my question is that money they used to bet can't it be used for other things maybe keeping themselves clean most of them will even be very hungry after loosing Everything to bet and gamble and will go as far as begging or taking loans from the same betshop using their phones as collateral.

Well, like drinking and smoking, gambling is a vice and I certainly do not think it fits the youth. As much as I do not think children should be drinking alcohol, smoking, or gambling. There are serious consequences when one has a gambling addiction.
I’m pretty sure that there are studies out there with negative effects. Perhaps, if there are studies that are made with positive effects, gambling can be done in moderation. Well that is just being optimistic and perhaps parents can monitor and set boundaries to show how gambling can be done in moderation.
We were all young once, there is this game monopoly that is somehow that shows moderation in gambling at a young age, eight and up. That’s something we all can all ponder.

I'd rather get rekt during my youth and not when I have a stable life as a parent. So if you're young, it's time to make mistakes, go broke (but don't get into debt), and learn many life lessons. If you happen to be a problem gambler, you still have plenty of time to change. Shits do harm to our younger self, but it makes us stronger and wiser. It really depends on your perspective whether or not exposure to "dark things": gambling, cigarette, and alcohol are good when we were young. I've seen people with no exposure until their death, I've seen people get late exposure and it ruins their life, and I've seen people with early exposure who can recover. Gambling is so powerful that it can get u addicted and being addicted to it is what really kills our youths because they don't know when to stop, most of them Gamble and empty their account and even go as far as collecting loans with interest from the same shops using their phones and laptops as collateral,
If they don't pay the money on time they might end up selling that phone or laptop just to recover their money, Gamble would have been a better option if we the youths Gambled responsibly.  And not use our life savings to gamble and remain stranded when we don't eat.

There is something I understand lately about gambling, for something to take control over you or you being subjugated over a thing is solely required concentration and attention. Therefore, if you are a gambler and you pays less attention to it there is no time it would ruined your life even getting to level of becoming an addict. I have some friends who do gamble and smoke but they don't allow all their thinking and concentration being channelled to those things rather developing a serious attention to their work, they knew what they were doing.
