I have had mentorship and introductional tuitions from great gurus that are already in the system of function... And I was told the PROs and CONs..very importantly. I don't know in general but I will tell you a couple of cases of some friends of mine who have worked at some casinos.The owners there used to not play at all,what they did is the same at least in this country,they used to pay for lunch for all the gamblers who stayed there gambling all day and sometimes these very owners got to the slot machine and played with max bet there in order to lure more gamblers as they played like with 100 EUR bet per spin and they played a lot so most people soon after got to the slot the owner played in order to get a good win after the owner lost a lot of money.

I don't know any case that the owners to keep playing and gambling as much as us,gamblers do.

Most probably, gambling casino owners have wide experience when it comes to gambling that’s why they chose to make it as a business instead because they know exactly how gamblers would end up loving the experience in gambling casinos that would make them to keep coming back and gamble again. I don't think the top people who have some position like leader especially owner/ceo or other top position is gonna to gamble on their casino. But the one who are gambler to their casino is their employee.

It's common things, while people who working on casino are gambler as well. Sad to hear this, but casino/landbase should make some rules (All of the employee cannot betting to their casino, avoiding the payment check is back to them again).

Like "Ferarri" rules to their employee, they don't want the money they're pay are going back again to their company by buying the car.

Before answering this i have a question in mind and i wish if someone can answer it. Lets suppose i am the onwer of the casino and i bet on a sports match on my own site. Now if i win, i pay myself the winning amount and if i lose , my money will remain with me as when gamblers lose a bet, it is actually casino who gains the money.

So does it make sense that a casino owner gamble on his own site ? In that case, he can never lose the money despite the result of the casino or betting game.

While they could be gambler as well, they are already businessman who owns the betting platform. They can win already without betting, I think the thought along would already satisfy them.

If I were to guess I would say for them this is a business and nothing more, they do not necessarily like to gamble themselves even if they hold some interest on the games, however even if they did gamble I think they will probably be more responsible than the majority of the gamblers out there as they understand very clearly how gambling works, and they are not going to spend all the money they have earned by gambling it away at the first opportunity they get.

I know a casino owner personally and to tell you the truth, he established his platform because he has lots of friends who are frequent gamblers. He joins them in their gambling ventures before in order to get a hint of what do players want and what can he do in order to get a lot of players in his platform. After collecting intel and funds to establish his own platform, he rarely goes on to gamble. He's in it for the money-making opportunity, and I guess a lot of casino and sports betting platforms are the same. Not saying all, but probably a lot of them has this mindset.

No, it is mostly because the casino owners are not gambler but they see there is a big chance to make money from the gambling industry by owning a casino.
Or other reason for NO because it will be useless for casino owner to gamble in their own platform because winning or losing means nothing.

I remember reading somewhere the phrase "don't use what you sell"(or something like that), I think this is applicable to casino owners too. as others have said that there are casino owners that do gamble but I am certain that majority of them are business minded and do not actually gamble and if they do they only do it rarely or occasionally. getting too into gambling while having a business is a bad habit and ultimately will be bad for business, I'd like to think a lot o casino owners understand this.

It will make no sense to them because they are the owner. Example is if I have a gambling site, I gamble, know that it is still my money if I win or lose.

In fact, it seems to me that casino owners are the same people as everyone else (only with greater financial opportunities) and therefore they have similar preferences. Someone is only interested in business, someone is into sports, someone is into gambling, someone is into drugs/prostitutes, etc. Obviously, if they are passionate about gambling, then they are most likely high rollers. Whether they play in their casino is difficult to say, since on the one hand it is logical (the money goes to you yourself) and on the other hand it is not (it makes no sense to win at your own place).

Many of the CEOs of the site we bet in don't even bets. They have everything in there possession so why do you think they have to bet and which money are they going to win. Many of these people are only interested in making consistent traffics to there casino so betting on the same or other casino can be very outrageous to think about. Just like the person that has a poultry will be so tire of eating eggs or chicken, same way would a owner of a casino. What they need is for them to make profits not to gamble themselves.

I would say that there is already a shift of mindset when you are still a full gambler and now that you’re already a casino business owner. Instead of gambling your money and giving them to casino, most likely the mindset of the owner is never to gamble anymore but to invest his funds and attract a lot of gamblers to play on his casino so he can always take an edge of their funds. While gambling can also be his previous hobby, but now he is more focused on accumulating more profits from the gamblers that have been enjoying their stay in his casino business.
