I do think some of them gamble, but not for profits of course, perhaps to get closer to the people that matters most, like high-rollers or people of influence in the government. Connections basically, is what would possibly drive them to gamble even inside their own casinos. Then again there's also the case of observing your competitors, so some owners may find themselves gambling in a different casino just to see what they are doing different in hopes of topping it off or maybe even copying the same strategy in theirs. Ultimately I can also see scouting for new games to include in their game roster as a reason why these owners may gamble. There's a lot of reasons why you as an owner would gamble, whichever it is, it's not solely for money, and most certainly not to just waste time.

You are right there. These owners would not want to gamble for profits but to establish a bond on their players because that’s also part of showing them good customer service. Because if the owner itself knows how to handle the customers, most likely the business will grow more. And it’s a fact that there are times they want to explore some other casino platforms so they can compare their own casino to the other casinos. An owner will not build up a business that he doesn't know anything about. Some casino owners will gamble, why am sure some will not really gamble, but am sure before you can start a betting platform, am sure the person will definitely have enough knowledge about gambling first, so I think most gambling CEO will definitely gamble, am sure they will know the risk associated with gambling, so they might not really take gambling serious.

When you are running a business then it is of course basing up with your own interest which it would be impossible for an owner on wont be testing up his own platform and making out betting on his own.In speaking about site functionality and overall security and other user experience matter then it would be also helpful for him to find out on something which he might be changing up later on.

In reality the owners of super successful casinos and sportsbooks are raking in millions, if not tens or hundreds of millions a year, so they already have two things in mind.. 1) that it's absolutely futile to bet against a casino or sportbook because they profit in the long run and 2) it doesn't matter if they gamble small amounts because they are unlikely to pick up an addiction because they have so many other things that make them happy in life. They might participate in gambling, but they have got a super successful site because they are good at managing a business and by extension finances, so they would generally only gamble if they are entertaining a client or for some other business/fun purpose.

I don't think it's ok or there is a comparison between foods being produced and the urge or desire to gamble, foods are there to sustain your body and there are other foods that you can consume to sustain your body but on gambling, it's hard to find an alternative to fill your desire and the urge, gamblers can play daily for many years while a farmer cannot eat eggs daily for many years.

But not on their own platform, probably other platforms that they did not know. It seems like you are an idiot who places a bet in your own bankroll, if you win, that comes from your pocket. I know a casino owner personally and to tell you the truth, he established his platform because he has lots of friends who are frequent gamblers. Think of it this way -

You used food as an example and obviously, we can't compare eating food to the pleasure that gambling will give.

In gambling, the winning experience is always the hope of anybody. Once a gambler experienced that, there would be no such thing as they don't want to experience it again therefore they will just gamble and gamble.

As for casino owners, that business gives them money therefore they will just manage continuously to keep the operation smooth. The smoother the operation, the more money they will have. We can't compare that experience to the example you have given which is about food.

I think some gambling owners gamble but only to a certain extent. Remember that these people are business-minded and they are driven primarily for profit. If they try or at least attempt to gamble, they would put themselves at the situation of risking their profits given the nature of business they run in the process.

Though this may be the case, there are actually some gambling owners who gamble on their platform to check on how their website operates. I also know a few owners who gamble on different websites purely for comparison and to see on how they can improve their current platform.
