Not many will want to listen and stick to this advice until they suffer the heartbreak and financial losses caused by this high expectations. People think that it is all set and made once they invest in cryptocurrency and that with as little as $10 that they will become rich. Such mindset has made alot of them to hate anything cryptocurrency once they suffer defeat from such investment. We all should have a moderate expectations that is possible and not that type where you invest $10 and expect to make $10,000 from it.

No, just like any other things that people pursue. High expectations are most likely just going to end up in a disappointment so hold your expectations especially in dealing with money if you can or you must. To be honest, crypto are not really made primarily just for the sake of earning profits. They have their own use cases and that is why it gets that so-called "value" from the buyers or we call them - "investors".

They can feed you false information, manipulate the price but all of this can be only done for a period of time because it costs them money. A person who understands the technology will not get distracted but a newbie with high expectations will and will get destroyed in this market.

Having high hopes has never been a problem in my opinion, infact if you are a crypto-currency enthusiast you would definitely have high hopes about Crypto-currency.

I think word should be Don't be greedy, in the crypto industry. Because expectations are to be expected,and I  think expectations should be kept. I assumed you meant greed by high-expectations. actually high expectations are not so bad, and generally, expectations are everyone's fuel for hope, but some of these expectations fall into the toxic category. if beginners have high expectations of being rich in one night from crypto then they have toxic expectations but if a beginner has high expectations cryptocurrency can change their life then their expectations are very good.

It's okay to have high expectations because basically cryptocurrencies are speculative assets so it's natural that a lot of people have high hopes for cryptocurrencies as long as we invest with the right coin and apply the right strategy like investing with bitcoin for the long term and I think this is one the only right choice especially since so far bitcoin has proven to be able to make many bitcoin investors successful even though they have to hold their bitcoins for a little longer so they can sell at high prices when they reach a new ATH which usually occurs in a 4 year cycle after the bitcoin halving.

I see a lot from the perspective of some beginners like me who are new to cryptocurrency.
Sometimes, some of them see the cryptocurrency world as an easy way or business to get profits or get rich quickly.
Many of them have this kind of perspective because they see other people's success from crypto.
What they don't even know is how difficult the person's struggle was before being successful and making a profit in the crypto world.
Not only success but in fact many negative cases have occurred in the crypto world.
Sometimes beginners don't realize they have entered a "landmine area".
One wrong step means they will enter into negative news from the impact of cryptocurrency risks.

Having expectations is good, but when It becomes too ambiguous or vague, it becomes a problem. The best way to channel your expectations as a newbie in crypto, is to learn by research, ask older members/users and participate in contributing your opinion to thread posts on boards of this forum.
Once you feel you know alot to give it a try, take a shot at owing some crypto and use it to perfect your particular interest in cryptocurrency world.
With these careful calculated goals, your expectations would not be too high nor too low to see through. with steady dedication to the acronym DYOR which stands for do your own research, I believe your expectations would be easier to fulfil.

Crypto is not a place to get rich quick with an instant experience. It takes a long time and a lot of work.
Those who look rich and have a lot of assets certainly do consistent work in crypto.
Defeat after defeat will indeed create a strong mentality. Understanding the basic knowledge that must be learned must be done, do not enter an unfamiliar place without finding out whether it is safe or not. Research is very important.
I feel it myself how to struggle to survive in crypto, trading, investing etc. I did in crypto and even lost some valuable assets of course I have also felt. Stay calm and focus on the main goal.

For me here is good, Because some of us are destined by everything you start and get a good deal on, and because we are not all doomed to failure in any way, expectations are good for Crypto beginners, in my opinion. For example, some people who started investing in cryptocurrency made a good profit right away and continued to do so over time. However, for others, it will take a long time before they start making a profit.
