I don't see any problem with what the owl games team did by locking their ANN three thinking it is better to have the thread locked if the representative has become inactive here in the forum and instead of leaving the thread open unmoderated its better to have it locked and anyone looking to contact them should go through their website support.

Locking the thread of a casino that is active and functional is not a good idea. You are sending a wrong signal to the participants that are registered with the casino who ah e their membership here. Anything if that nature would put members to panic because it is a red flag to them that something might have happened so with the fear of the unknown they would start withdrawal of funds and if that happens and owl casino notice it and start delaying withdrawals for proper investigation, the members withdrawing would call them scam all this leads to one situation or another which is not a good one for a casino.  So therefore locking the thread was a wrong move by the team or who ever that gave them that idea because it would cause more harm than good to the casino.

It can’t be considered as functional if the representative itself don’t update and answer in the thread since it’s an announcement thread. Their action to lock the thread to redirect all the complaints on their support and not here is right because they are not here anymore. Those complaints that will be posted in the thread is just nonsense since the addressed party can’t see and answer the complain. Having a discussion with co-member against the issue will not solve anything because the casino is still the one who can resolve and this will not gonna change no matter how many negative tag we put on their inactive bitcointalk account.

This discussion thread is exactly what we need to post discussion since we all talking about the casino without expecting any feedback from the team.

I also really regret that owl.game locked their ANN thread, they could have left this forum but why should they lock a thread that is already big and also a comfortable place for loyal players

If any kind of error is found in this forum, the concerned authority will react about it. If the Owl.games administration leaves then there is nothing anyone can but to decrease their reputation. This forum is immense importance in the development of both business expansion and loyalty. I don't think this team will get a very good response if they leave from the forum as it is a crypto betting platform. In my perception i know they have gained a good reputation but such negative comments at that time can degrading. After all we expect they may soon be able to join the forum again, even though there is no discussion about this yet.

It is the Owl.games decision, so we should respect that.  i think they lock the thread to avoid unnecessary spam.  We all know that often times service announcement thread ends up having unrelated discussion from what the thread is intended.  Beside they already announced that they will be closing the announcement thread while doing some probably major renovation.

It's good that we have a thread dedicated to Owl Casino it may not be the official thread but at least we can still post what we think about Owl casino, I don't agree with them closing their thread they should have followed Bitvest and 777Coin lead that they keep the thread open even though they are not posting in their thread, at least they can read opinions of the community, as an investor of their token I'm still following the development and their status.

Well, that's one reality that each of their customers has to realize. It's because they just want to be contacted only with their website and that's really controlling the flow of concerns being addressed to them.
A business entity that wants to maximize their potential customers coming in to them will open all possible channels and socials where they can scale and leverage every potential possibility that will help the business to thrive just like in casino business.

Precisely, any business which is trying their best to succeed will always look for more ways to reach their customers and to be reached by them, if this is not the case then you can tell there is something going on.

Closing down their ANN thread could have made sense if owl.games was closing its doors as well, but since they are still operating it is odd they have decided to leave the forum for good when so many customers can be gained at no cost for themselves, especially when it seems that just a few days ago they could resolve the only legitimate complain they had against them.

Couldn’t agree more. There are a lot of people on this forum with experience and they can give valuable insights to a casino. This forum can really be a good asset in my eyes and yes there will be people that complain or not be happy but that is quite normal.

it actually seems to me that Owl.games representatives don't need to lock the ANN thread so as not to raise bad suspicions against the Owl.games casino.
even if there's going to be a major renovation later and the team is too busy with the development, keep the thread running and respond to any complaints when the development is complete.
so that all of us who are here do not have a bad feeling about Owl.games. because it's like avoiding a problem when there is an unresolved customer complaint but the representative chooses to lock the thread. it would only make the situation worse.

This is not the best way to go for the team of this casino, instead of locking the ANN thread, there should have simply allowed the thread to remain active even though there may not be responding or active for a while.

Owl.games used to be one of my favorite casinos, but recently, I've began to doubt if everything is still cool with them, most especially, after they locked their thread, and some scam accusation began to spring up against them..

I sold all my owl tokens which I've held for quite some time now and invested the money in another project I have full confidence in, and from now on, if at all I will still gamble on this Casino, I will do that carefully, else, I will just forget about them and choose other casinos on this from, since there are still several good online casinos here.

There is nothing wrong in your decision. As a matter of fact, that is what every individual would do to safeguard themselves and their investment. What the owl team did is not really clear with me. No matter how difficult the situation is I believe there is always a way out. If they had left the thread open irrespective of what transpired and the people are people are making comments, I think they should be able to get some points and make a good decision because most comments made are possibly solutions in disguise which the owl team would be able to handle..

About OWL, i dont support the decission of them of locking the thread, but i think its for this, a newbie comes and say any and a lot of people come and say ohh yes bla bla bla, i follow the sandbox casino thing, and what more can be done by owl? They cut his support to them, and a lot of people say they are the same bla bla, and maybe yes but also his busines its to sell his software for gambling so obviusly they are gonna be in some way involved.

A lot of cheaters comes here and made claims and we know it, you can see them in everyone thread of no matter what casino. OWL dont know how to manage that and also internal think, WHY im gona lose so much time explaining things because a newbie made claims when he was abusing X game.

I was part of his first signature a long time ago, i used the platform and i don have any problem.

After that they run a second campaign for a long time and with a serious manager, so i dont think they are gonna scam. if they want to do that they can do already a lot of time ago.

Well, we already know the intensity of ops reputation as there is a warning on the top hand warning us of the trust rating of ops, but then we also consider some things such as the behaviour of owl casino teams here in the forum and what their current reputation stands for right now.

Owl casino team have done so well in the past in both the token performance in the early days and the casino experience,  but recently they have become silent on some issues that border on their reputations and instead of responding to them the team decide to exit from the forum.

Unless Owldao developers open a thread that they are being extorted I also don't like moderated threads not coming from developers but Owldao choose a path that they think is right for them, they should have followed Bitvest leads on letting people post on their thread even though they are absent on the forum, maybe they think that they have established themselves already and they don't need Bitcointalk anymore but they cannot stop people from creating a thread or complain about them here in Bitcointalk and it's up to them if they want to address it or not.

Let me update you one more time regarding my scam accusation thread which is now closed since 2 weeks.

They did finally pay me the confiscated 0.1BTC today. Two weeks ago in that thread I said I already got it, but that turned out to be a little premature. I had their absolute promise and therefore decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and report that I already got it, to speed things up a bit. But I still had to keep pushing and send messages and now today I finally got it and withdrew it succesfully.
So the conclusion is that Owl has a TERRIBLE support and you are lucky if they answer 10% of your messages, but if you chase them really hard you will get justice in the end. So I would definitely not recommend them but they are not a scam afterall.
