Check their last reply on the thread, its mentioned their reasons. Locking the thread has lot of cons, there are at least 1 or 2 or more active scam accusations against them and these complainants nothing can do here since they only accept site's customer support regarding any issues.

Owl.games gambling site is up and running but i have no idea what is the current status of their gambling site withdrawal status etc

However, they have locked their ANN thread as they have stated that they will provide support service on their website but then we have an open accusation against them.

regarding the Owl.games site and token it seems that it is still running well and there are still gamblers betting there. but I don't know about the deposit or withdrawal at this time is it okay. because at this time there are still unresolved accusations on Owl.games.

and in my opinion it is very unfortunate when Owl.games is an old casino that has been around for a long time but when a problem like this has not been resolved it actually locks ANN threads, it is like risking reputation.
maybe after there are accusations that have not been resolved it is possible that a new gambler will think again about gambling there because of course the fear is definitely there.

I think the piling up scam accusation is what makes them decide to leave the forum. They have active live support which they want to be the main point of communication instead of here but since user can’t do anything when talking to their support, Complaints always posted here since CS is not helpful at all.

It’s useless mow to taint their reputation in case those scam accusation verified because they are not active here.

They are once connected with Sandboxcasino that display malicious attitude on dealing someone profit that get in legit way. And their current departure only shows how they didn’t like already the forum for helping the victims to retrieve their money. Honestly it’s already scary playing on their casino knowing that they are not here since their CS took a lot of time on dealing concerns based on the previous accusation against them.

From business point of view they can make any decision they want to protect their business but in the mean time it's important to resolve any scam accusation too. It does not help just leaving like that. They are here from long time and should be know the reactions from the community.

Owl.games used to be one of my favorite casinos, but recently, I've began to doubt if everything is still cool with them, most especially, after they locked their thread, and some scam accusation began to spring up against them..

I sold all my owl tokens which I've held for quite some time now and invested the money in another project I have full confidence in, and from now on, if at all I will still gamble on this Casino, I will do that carefully, else, I will just forget about them and choose other casinos on this from, since there are still several good online casinos here.

Not a scam accusation or anything, but I would avoid owlgames and its token for the meantime. Them locking their threads coupled with a lot of scam accusations is really concerning. It looks like they don't want to deal with those accusations here in the forum and are trying to isolate their support exclusively to their website. The reason they stated for leaving the forum is that they are re-arranging their strategies for better support services, though that could only be a cover up for something else, but at least they didn't disappear without saying anything.

Also, if you check their social networks, especially Twitter, they are pretty active their with partnerships and marketing campaigns with multiple casinos and gaming platforms. That being said, I think if they didn't have bad intentions, even if they were accused, they could depend themselves by staying within the forum.

Just incase I understood you correctly, owl.games no longer have any signature ad promotion running, at least, from what I know, and i hope i am right about this.
I think they locked their thread not quite long after they ended the last batch of their signature ad campaign, which i believe lasted for some weeks, or about  a month or so.
Personally, I feel within my spirit that all is not well with this casino, but then, the general public must not know, they used to be one of the best and most reputable casinos around here, but right now, is like they are struggling with lots of things, how do I know?

The trust with this site is quiet not good and it started from the unresolved scam accusation, locking their ANN Thread might not be a good idea but I think that’s it, I don’t know if they are leaving this forum or they just working into something else.

They had a good run of campaign here but it didn’t last longer, you have to check their previous campaign. Anyway, if there’s still an issue with this site then I won’t suggest to get involve, better to look for other good alternatives.

This action shouldn't be a surprise to us since there are already signs of an exit scam from the casino, I am not concluding that they have left the forum due to pressure on them to resolve the current accusations against them and since their support and platform is still very active even though the token has crashed in value and volume in recent time without any sign of recovery and not development or mechanism to make that happen soon.

For "Better support", but takes several days to reply using their site's support, they also easily ban anyone on their telegram group when someone's raising about some accusation against them. To the best of my knowledge, OWL.games just finished their signature campaign not quite long which lasted for a short while though. From their last post before the thread was locked, their was not enough tangible reason why they  locked their thread.  They only stated that they would be open through their customer care to entertaining complaint from their clients which is the right thing to do but we pray they do as they have stated but i am just curios like everyone as to why they locked their thread not to allow any more comment or post here. This is not a good signs as it does not connote openness and transparency. They just lost credibility for doing so and this creates room for doubt as to how genuine they are if they could close their thread on this platform where they possibly  have large number of client, will they be able to relate with their client through their customer services on their site as they have stated?
For this act they have carried out, i would advice that no member of this platform should have any deal with them, if you must deal, deal with caution and play with what you can afford to loose.

month and a half that they are not active in this forum  even having their Negative tag because of lack of update regarding scam accusation , also the tag stands after they locked their ANN Thread while there are increasing issues about their scam behavior.

Well, that's one reality that each of their customers has to realize. It's because they just want to be contacted only with their website and that's really controlling the flow of concerns being addressed to them.

We can also scroll at the bottom of their gambling site and as we can see the bets there are still moving, which means there are still people who wagers there. Their forum representative already explain the reason on why they locked their thread. I don't see they are closing soon but they only lock their thread maybe to avoid unwanted spams or off topic replies.

There you go @OP, I hope we already shed you some light. You can still choose to gamble on this casino if you want to but if we were you we will avoid investing on their token as it seems it is going down the drain. I was really surprised to see that owl.games have closed their ANN thread. I remember that last year they had their signature and bounty campaign running on bitcointalk. Don't know the reason as why they abadon their presence on this forum.

I can understand that companies can end their signature campaign due to number of reason but why they need to lock their ANN thread. Even if they had few scam accusations threads againist them, this does not mean that they lock thier ANN thread. Whenever an entity closes down a communication channel it should be obvious that they are trying to control what it is said about them, they closed down their ANN thread as they could not answer the valid accusations brought against them, and instead they decided to answer them  through their channels, channels they can abuse obviously.

Well, that's one reality that each of their customers has to realize. It's because they just want to be contacted only with their website and that's really controlling the flow of concerns being addressed to them.

The case is now resolved the complainant was late in giving us an update because of the ongoing negotiation between him and Owl, so far they have kept their promise that they are going to resolve issues through their support system, but in case there are complaints, they are free to post in the scam section, so we can have updates on the status Owl casino because they have players and investors here.

Though I am completely ok with their rather unfriendly manner --especially as I was very polite on that first message-- on responding to my message on their channel, I was also surprised on this turn of event. I thought they went so hostile because they don't want to acknowledge the case, but they've solved it instead.

If I may give a wild guess based on the worst and most possible notorious scenario, they probably didn't want any exposure of cases against them in public. Thus the urge to solve every case internally through their website and deleting my chat informing them --and public-- that's there's a case against them.

All things considered, given the case is solved, I think it won't be fair to keep the negative feedback I put against them as it's no longer valid. I withdrew it as a show of good gesture and appreciation towards their action solving the case.

If any kind of error is found in this forum, the concerned authority will react about it. If the Owl.games administration leaves then there is nothing anyone can but to decrease their reputation. This forum is immense importance in the development of both business expansion and loyalty. I don't think this team will get a very good response if they leave from the forum as it is a crypto betting platform. In my perception i know they have gained a good reputation but such negative comments at that time can degrading. I don't see any problem with what the owl games team did by locking their ANN three thinking it is better to have the thread locked if the representative has become inactive here in the forum and instead of leaving the thread open unmoderated its better to have it locked and anyone looking to contact them should go through their website support.

Locking the thread of a casino that is active and functional is not a good idea. You are sending a wrong signal to the participants that are registered with the casino who ah e their membership here. Anything if that nature would put members to panic because it is a red flag to them that something might have happened so with the fear of the unknown they would start withdrawal of funds and if that happens and owl casino notice it and start delaying withdrawals for proper investigation, the members withdrawing would call them scam all this leads to one situation or another which is not a good one for a casino.  So therefore locking the thread was a wrong move by the team or who ever that gave them that idea because it would cause more harm than good to the casino.

Well, that's one reality that each of their customers has to realize. It's because they just want to be contacted only with their website and that's really controlling the flow of concerns being addressed to them.
A business entity that wants to maximize their potential customers coming in to them will open all possible channels and socials where they can scale and leverage every potential possibility that will help the business to thrive just like in casino business.

Owl.games used to be one of my favorite casinos, but recently, I've began to doubt if everything is still cool with them, most especially, after they locked their thread, and some scam accusation began to spring up against them..

Well, we already know the intensity of ops reputation as there is a warning on the top hand warning us of the trust rating of ops, but then we also consider some things such as the behaviour of owl casino teams here in the forum and what their current reputation stands for right now.

I think you're lucky since they want to pay all of your winnings, who knows if they will become scam in the future? I don't think it's acceptable if the casino have terrible support and have a problem regarding the withdrawal process. He is very lucky he got back his funds from them due to his persistent communication with owl games. Their customer service is very poor and that is one of the selling point of every organization be it casino,   centralised exchange etc. You see, it is one thing to build and another to destroy and mind you, it does not take much efforts to destroy and that is the part owl game is towing which is not good for their business. So far this casino has no proven fraud action involved or else their Bitcointalk account will have an active flag. They received multiple complaints before and all was solved despite it took some time. This kind of issue is normal to occur on casino since most of the casino even the big one has a lot of complaints if you check the scam accusation of the forum.

I think the support slow response is always the issue in this casino some user report that their message takes too long to be read and answered by live support. Live support usually answer within few minutes but Owl take sometime even days just to get a reply. It’s just bad that they choose to focus communication in their live support even thouh they have bad reviews about their response time.

I can't find the accusation you're talking about, unless you're referring to this case, OWL Coin - Malware in the wallet [DO NOT DOWNLOAD]!!! which was kinda solved with someone with malicious intent deliberately re-create an ANN with a different wallet link containing a virus, and not the same project --far as I know-- as that accusation was open and shut in 2019 while owl.games thread just started by late 2021.

However, I am interested to know more so I can hopefully better understand whether their decision to stop pause their response here is justified or not

I mean Bitcointalk forum announcement thread is not a mandatory for a casino to become trusted since there’s still a lot of crypto casino that is not active or doesn’t have ANN thread here.

As a business owner. Sometimes things just go that way to be rough most times and not forever as we know life is not a bed of roses. Owl games have been a reliable casino but of lately, the decision taken by the owl team to locking their thread is not the utmost solution to their predicament for the time being. I expected them to have come up plain informing the platform of their current challenges if possible then telling us their next actions so we could relate very well while they still exist and remain active here which is better rather than locking their thread preventing members from making comments and that is not a good signal. They know their reasons for their decision to leave, but without a doubt I also think it is weird, after all opening and maintaining an ANN thread is free, so it is not like they were spending a massive amount of money to keep their thread open.

Because they are being paid to advertise it. User the promoting 1xbit are those who doesn’t have any opportunity to join on other campaign because they already ruined their reputation in exchange for the money.

The forum admin doesn’t moderate scam which is why forum member is free to advertise as they are not violating the rules. Money can control the PoV of a person so I’m not surprised that there will more user that will promote 1xbit in an event that they will pay more for the participants in long run.

They had some issues of their players unresolved and that was leading the players to open scam accusations against them, but surprisingly, instead of resolving the issues and standing firmly against the accusations and solving them, they decided to just silently leave the forum with an excuse that they want to improve their customer service on the website, which basically has nothing to do with their presence on the forum.

Owl had created these trust issues themselves by doing this. If they stayed on the forum, and solved the issues like the one where they confiscated the funds worth 0.1 BTC and just resolved the issue recently, if they did this earlier, they could stay on the forum with grace and face all the questions and accusations.

owl.games has already left the forum more than a couple of months ago but it seems this topic is getting the position of owl games announcement thread. we can not just avoid this topic ?

I think OP needs to lock the topic in this thread if indeed OP has got the answer and of course everyone should leave this thread, I think OWL is no longer part of the forum so there's no need to bring up OWL anymore in this forum

You should rename the title to Unofficial Owl.game Discussion Thread if you want to continue this thread open. The original content of this thread is just your inquiry about the status of Owl.game casino which is already answered on a 7 pager thread.

Change the content and title if your main goal is an official discussion or lock this thread if you will insist the current content.

The best and fastest way to get this thread locked if ops are not active is to report the thread and if moderators receive multiple reports against the thread they will either delete the thread or lock it.

-I guess a few members would have reported the thread already,  ops just open the thread just to create unnecessary discussion on owl games.
