Bravo Mate, you have taking bitcoin awareness to the students of BGLA and I appreciate your effort on this. It is a good initiative, because what you taught them will be helpful to them in the nearest future. They can still tell their friends about bitcoin abs from there, bitcoin awareness is spreading gradually.
With time, I know that bitcoin awareness will get to the ends of the world, and the government might have no option than to accept its adoption, since Nigeria is a country that the youths are good at embracing new technology. Its lovely to see people having the zeal to impact bitcoin knowledge to people in their locality.

Well it's a good approach bro, nicely done. Students of this generation have wide range of understanding, so it will be useful to them learning about cryptocurrency now. I actually love the way you took your time and created a whole topic for them. I really wish we have more people like you in my country it would be very useful to get the little ones aware of cryptocurrency. Do you plan on taking them again on that same topic? Cause I know that they will want to see you again and learn even more.lol

Thanks for your encouragement and kind words from you all, learning is a daily process. I have always loved to introduce something new to people around me, especially something that can be benefitted from,in order to add impact to the public positively. Good Good, But C'mon mate too much of all these I taught this and that blah blah blah blah ( Smile's ) I just find them boring and also what I see it's a complete scheme to hunt merit ? lol This can also be done without bringing up here. But props to you on that mate teaching stuff's like this is also the best way to learn as it'll be stucked within your skull. Man don't give in to people saying you shouldn't inculcate what you have to elders, it's just that in our own part of Nigeria all they see is scam and shit. Here in the community we have a good number of elderly people involved with the bitcoin movement and teaching. Youngins are much more interested no doubts but Bitcoin is like the bible it's for all to advocate and learn at the same time. And adoption is emphasized by using Bitcoin and to use it they need to buy it from the market. These kids have little to no capability to buy Bitcoins so knowing about Bitcoin cannot be considered as adoption. Like many government knows Bitcoin but some of them Ban it. When it comes to reasons for Bitcoin ( Correct man if I'm wrong ) but really you should give them the white paper to read, I'm not comfortable with that information down there. You should also take good look at your importance of Bitcoin and also the Consequences, you really have to scrap that off man.... That's completely BS! Jesus Christ As harsh as it sounds I completely agree with this. Though @OP could have presented it better if he just copies what is written on the whitepaper. I also noticed financial freedom is wrongly used since there is another definition of financial freedom and it does not mean not being controlled by the government What Is Financial Freedom? Financial freedom means you get to make life decisions without being overly stressed about the financial fallout of those decisions. That's because you're financially prepared for whatever life throws your way—you have no debt, you have money in the bank, and you're investing for the future. But still great work of having the courage to discuss Bitcoin in front of many audience. Corrections noted, I love the way,you pointed out the mistakes in my write up,this shows how caring you are and a good teacher at the same time.

Are you a teacher or just a guest who gave a free lecture on the basic fundamentals of bitcoin? That was incredibly fascinating, buddy. But we really cannot say that businesswomen are not open to new technologies like bitcoin. Individuals in their fifties and above consisting of men and women are not particularly interested in bitcoin. Those teenagers, who are just beginning their development, are considering their options on what degrees they can take in college. We can infer that the majority of them are interested, particularly when it involves the internet.

I only suggested op should be more practical with the students at then they will understand and know more on what they are being taught.

I think my life would changed a lot if crypto was introduced to me back when I was a student. I could have spend my time on crypto and earn instead of just playing around in computer on my free time and spending my money on games. I know some students who earn a lot and changed their life through the help of crypto.
Even if you are no longer a student, you are a married person who is never too late to invest and earn profits from Bitcoin. We are still in the early stages of the Bitcoin revolution, still very early and have many opportunities to make profits. If you don't earn money now, it's your fault, I believe even if you know bitcoin earlier you can't have a better life. It depends on his financial status since having a family especially on a 3rd world country is very hard because your salary will only be sufficient to your family daily expenses. I’m not married yet but I’m still having a hard time on saving money for investment because of my personal expenses. Maybe your job is sufficient to have an extra money for investment but the average family on a 3rd world country usually living just enough from the salary due to low minimum wage while inflation hits hard. Being single is the best if you want to start investment because you still don’t have any responsibilities financially to your family.

Good to see the spread happening around and the next set of bitcoiners getting prepared to do the same. From the pictures it is understandable that OP have taught about the basics of cryptocurrency. With the upcoming classes he can teach more about bitcoin. I too have the same suggestion, making them experience how the transaction takes place and how it can be viewed and the same doesn't have physical appearance will make the session even more interesting.

You deserve appreciation. What you are doing is a good deed to educate people about Bitcoin. I'm interested in your story. I see here that there are some students you have taught and they are showing an interest in Bitcoin. This is certainly an indication that if we do education, I'm sure there will be many other people who are interested in the cryptocurrency world.

Adoption starts with information dissemination. It is good to know that someone is spreading information about Bitcoin to the next generation. We may not see the effect of this action today but I am sure once this kid has the capability, they will join us in the Bitcoin community. Good work there @OP, this may not be beneficial for you, but you reach out your hand to inform these kids and share the opportunities given by the Bitcoin industry. Though other see this as form of merit farm, I think you deserve the merit you get here.

Third world countries do have weaker economies than developed countries, but not everyone is poor, there are still rich people, there are still people who make money from their own hands. I also live in a 3rd world country, I'm not rich, but my friend is rich, and I can't blame my country. Simply because I'm not as good as my friend when you have enough money, even higher inflation doesn't matter. Do not try to blame the country when you are not rich, with that mindset, even living in a developed country you cannot be rich.

A good step to be able to introduce bitcoin to some teenage students who cannot access information easily. Of course it will require more effort so they can understand what is being discussed. Seeing the writing on the board reminds me of when I was in high school and by writing the teacher's explanation on the board it will be easier to remember and understand it than now, who only use smartphones or printer printouts without the need to rewrite them. when they can catch what you explain about bitcoin and they are interested, it is a sign that you are successful in teaching bitcoin knowledge. More students are asking questions and they are naturally curious about how bitcoin works. If you have a smartphone that can support direct bitcoin transactions, maybe you can do a practice session on how to send and receive bitcoins, so they will be more interested. If it's just theory, over time it will become a saturated class.

I was inspired by fellow forum members the last time,I made a post that i taught business women about the adoption of bitcoin as an alternative payment method in their businesses. Some people said the women are too old and might not be able to add impact on the adoption of bitcoin, that I should teach younger ones and not the age range of business women.
Anyone can do anything as long as what they do can provide benefits that have a positive impact towards change. Your efforts in teaching teenagers about Bitcoin are good work. I think you are doing this based on a premise so that teenagers can understand Bitcoin thoroughly. You must be able to ensure that your initiative in teaching them must continue gradually. You must be able to make sure they understand how to use the internet so that one day they know how to keep Bitcoin safe. Has the school included Bitcoin as an official subject included in the curriculum?

This will be great, if Op shows the students some practical example like how to create a wallet and also how to send some transactions that would be more effective than just writing on the board for the kids. Op should use the school's computers i.e if they have any to show them and if the school lacks computer Op can just borrow from a friend and organize the class for them. And in the process of all this Op might also be opportune to talk about the different types of Bitcoin wallet addresses and also the benefits/advantages that each addresses has. I think all schools and universities should teach students about crypto and blockchain
Some schools and universities already offers cryptography as a course of study.

If would like to go extra mile then getting a projector to project it will be the best to them, but nonetheless we have to appreciate op for the effort and bold steps he took to teach those students. I believe not everyone of us here could be able to devote their time to teach or even discuss with their friends about the fast growing digital world.

It was a great step to start introducing bitcoin to school students, and it looks like more people will do the same as you to teach what bitcoin is and how to use it.
Is it just one lesson or are there plans to incorporate it into the school's curriculum? If so, it will provide new insights for these students to start preparing for their future using crypto, especially bitcoin, and start investing in bitcoin using their pocket money (if they have it) or using part of their salary to invest in bitcoin.
What you do must be followed up so that people don't forget what you teach so that their introduction to bitcoin doesn't stop there. Congratulations on your story @OP and continue to introduce bitcoin to more people.

You are a big help in making this ecosystem grow. Access to information about Bitcoin should not be limited to countries with reliable internet access. We can always find ways to introduce Bitcoin to others so they can see the opportunities it presents. It may not be easy for some to understand, but with proper education, they can become more interested in learning about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
Eventually, as they become more involved in the ecosystem, they will not only learn about Bitcoin, but the entire crypto market. Teenagers should not only focus on enjoying their lives, but also think about their future financial capacity. It is a smart initiative to teach them early so they can mature financially at an earlier age.
GREAT JOB OP!
