• Improved address display

Is this update actually better address formatting similar like Trezor did recently?

As RickDeckard showed off, it's a new way to break up the address and use bold formatting to make it easier to verify "block by block," if you will.

We've also deployed the new address display format in Envoy as of v1.6.0 (in beta!) so that verifying addresses visually between the two is even easier!

Or this is seen as something that is a "nice to have feature" and not "must have" at the moment considering the development plans?

I would also vote for the adding to device the function which allowed  to check the copy of SeedQR transferred from Passport screen to some stuff, let's say to paper, transparency film, metal plate,  etc., to remain sure that created backup is not getting corrupted somehow as the time passes.

Fascinating idea! I'll raise an internal issue with the team to further discuss it, to my knowledge we haven't considered it yet but would be great for helping with steel QR backups as mentioned.

Just came to my head after  reading this. Another option would be to safe  SeedQR to file (in some printable format ) on microSD card inserted into the slot of Passport device so that one could use it to print (using  the air-gapped machine) the image afterward. This printed image would be very useful at SeedQR backup on the steel plate.

Is it possible to add into GUI without much pain the option to show battery percentage near that icon? Device uses lithium-ion battery and to prolong its life time it is very important to start charging procedure when it reaches  certain depth of discharge. Knowing of exact battery capacity left would be highly mattered in this case.

Thanks for this. It is really a highly desired feature. With every passing  day I am more and more convinced in this thought that Passport wallet is is fraught with the infinite possibilities,  just as an atom.I can not  even  imagine  what challenges this wallet will take up next.

Are we talking about a new product on the horizon? I once hypnotized[1] about a product similar to Ronin Dojo since I believe it would make sense in creating a true open source ecosystem for Foundation, but I reckon that the investment into such product may be high and riskier considering Foundation Passport Batch 2 launched last year[2]. By the way, Passport Batch 2 announcement will celebrate 1 year on March 10th, what a ride it has been!

Could I propose for the future releases a small feature , namely,  the revolving order for destination and change addresses in every following transaction build by Envoy?  Implementing this would mislead slightly  the chainanalysis  companies which use heuristics in their research, and,  thus,  would  add to users privacy.

Could you expand on what you mean here? We already rotate addresses every time you hit Receive and for every change output, even if the receive address isn't visibly used on-chain to better protect users. Is that what you're asking for, or something on top of that?

Could you expand on what you mean here? We already rotate addresses every time you hit Receive and for every change output, even if the receive address isn't visibly used on-chain to better protect users. Is that what you're asking for, or something on top of that?

I mean the rotation of the sequence order of receive and change addresses. For instance in the  first transaction the receive address goes first  the change - second, in following trx  the change - first, the receive second, in the  following trx again   the receive address goes first  the change - second, then again vice versa, and so it repeats in a circle.

I think having separate Passport HW domain or subdomain would be a good idea.
 
One question for you guys:
Are you working on adding support for using multiple seed phrases in the same time on one device?
More hardware wallets are supporting this, and I think it's a good idea to add it.

Probably because their thought was something about  the drawing  of all Generations  to the color of Foundation :

I think Passport devices suite  both the youngsters and elders due to their clever UI/UX design and functionality.

1. Dark mode was a huge focus, most of the team are dark mode maxis 
2. Hmm, will have to do that for the next one! Great idea to bring that sort of thing to Bitcoin Talk as well.

1. .xyz is actually becoming a very common TLD for big tech companies like Alphabet, so it's not as obscure as it can seem! There also are pretty limited domain options for a common word like "foundation" and a key goal was dropping the "devices" from the domain.
2. Do you mean storing multiple and loading them as desired? We do have a WIP feature that will allow you to load BIP 85 child seeds from Key Manager and sign from them on Passport which meets the majority of that type of need.
3. That was... an interesting and unexpected exchange  None of us had ever even talked to him but seeing someone try to wield restrictive licenses out of spite on social media was a new one for me

Great (re)design that you made on the website @foundationdvcs. I particualry like the fact that you kept the color pallet the same between Passport, Envoy, and the website as well. I also enjoy the detail that some sections of the page resemble the exact shape of the menu that Passport holds. The devil is always on the details and you nailed it.

Yes I was thinking about that, even generating multiple seed phrases would be good to have, and I think secure element memory should easily allow that.

As far as I know new Keystone devices allow storing of 3 seed phrases, Cypherock X1 can store 4, and Ellipal even more, not sure about c0ldcard and other hardware wallets.
