This is awesome. Will share the news and hope many more join in doing the same. Bisq is not perfect, but a fantastic project with constant development and a very well working DEX software.
I want to encourage anyone reading this to try it. You can buy / sell small amounts and often get a 1 - 3% plus on the current market value for smaller amounts.

After the closure of LBC, I expect that some will try to look for alternatives, especially those that do not require verification of identity, and with the closure of localcrypto, the market must witness some downloads, and perhaps an increase in liquidity. It's the beginning and I hope people will continue to use it.

Never tried the platform because of some reasons but i always recommend it to anyone who are trying to make a decentralized way if trading p2p. After the closure of LBC, I expect that some will try to look for alternatives, especially those that do not require verification of identity
If the owner/management of bisq can market/promote the platform in different social media platforms, adnetwork, PR, and other community posts like this, number of traders could increase significantly due to the shutdown of similar services.

@Husires I made a similar thread like the one you have here, but I placed it in bitcoin discussion for a few reasons. 1.) more exposure for bisq day 2.) I added questions that will facilitate bitcoin and DEX discussion. Here's my thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5442878.0I like how some of the initiatives they want to get going are opening up more foreign markets such as China, Nigeria, India, and Argentina. These countries all share something in common when it comes to cybersecurity and cryptographic talent out there. Much of the history behind early times of "zero-day exploits", involves Argentina and the culture they have based on hacking over there. It's cool to read into if you're bored. ~Warm regards. <3

There was no need to open another thread about this Bisq Market Day, and especially not in Bitcoin discussion board since this is the place for exchanges related discussions. Sure, you may get more visibility there, but you will also get more shitposts as that board is known for that.

Well I am a professional shit-poster , I never knew that the bitcoin discussion board was the hot-spot for that but since you say so, I plan on making the bitcoin discussion board my new home, hahahha! But in all seriousness, thank you for the advice. <3

Thank you, good effort, but I do not think that there will be a real addition. It is true that everyone is posted in bitcoin discussions board, but they are posts for signature campaigns. You rarely find people presenting their personal experiences on that board. I'm a little busy these days, was planning to put an explanation on how to download the wallet, and then the beginners board would be appropriate.

I've been wanting to make a good quality beginners and help section topic, may I make this thread for you? It will be the first time I interact with bisq too, so I'll have the chance to kill two birds with one stone. Let me know, and i'll start working on it asap. <3

Thank you! I'll have it done by the end of my day. Edit: Here's the thread I made. I skipped the wallet software part and just went straight for the Beginner's and Help section. I made sure to add all your useful links in my OP so that the new people that see my thread will also utilize those links. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5443655<3
