as long as cryptocurrency is still being developed, sooner or later, crypto will become one of the aspects that complement our lives. from the research you did, it was stated that younger people know about cryptocurrencies, while older people don't. that is a fair thing. in my place, there are still very many parents who don't really understand using android. that's because the technological age in which they develop is different from ours, even though there are still quite a lot of parents who follow developments regarding technology and know about cryptocurrency because they tend to be interested in it. In my place, even almost adults know about bitcoin, although they still don't really understand what bitcoin is. however, if this technological development continues, then crypto will become a part of our lives, and I am sure of that.

Most of the people around us do not know about Crypto Currency. But those who know as much is through online.  Where I live most people don't know what crypto currency is?  But one thing I have noticed is that if they are asked about Bitcoin they say that they have heard about Bitcoin and they know about Bitcoin from different news media where there are various discussions about Bitcoin. But even if they don't know about Crypto Currency, they have a lot of interest to know about it. If they are given enough opportunities to learn about Crypto Currencies then I think they will learn them carefully and learn about Crypto Currencies.

I would never say that you educate them about crypto at your own risk. Because you can never tell what happens in the crypto market. If you force someone to know about crypto and he invests his much needed money in it with little understanding and later suffers losses then he will lose faith in crypto currency again. Then you may be responsible for the loss of his invested money.
So refrain from passing crypto currency knowledge on to anyone. If he willingly expresses his interest to you to know something about crypto or bitcoin then feel free to teach him about crypto and tell him about bitcoin so that he can know and understand better.

The question is in which shape or form it will come into our lives for as long as there are the old guys who determine how politics are done and in which way surveillance technology is being set up. For now it is all about having control over their citizens and a cryptocurrency that is decentralized isn't quite the technology that politicians are after here.

Besides traceable digital currency there is so much stuff going on that gives the government the possibility to track whatever we are doing. China is using the data that is produced by those payment apps in order to let it go into their social scoring. I don't know how far we are away from that but I hope it doesn't become a reality for us as well. --------------

what you say is true, they will start learning about crypto, after they understand they are trying to get into crypto the wrong way, namely buying token memes and  the result they are deceived and reluctant to get to know crypto again what they have in mind is crypto where fraud lands

Recently, I've been wondering, and based on the people I live with, I'd say that only 20% of them know what cryptocurrency is.
Sometimes I ask my friend or colleague if he knows what Bitcoin is, and if they're young (20-35 years old), they say, "Yes, I've heard about it. But I don't know much about it."
If I'm talking to older people (40–60), mostly they don't know what it is.

We are living in a world of big changes in every aspect of life. But do you think it will be time when cryptocurrency will come into our lives and be normal for all people? Will people be able to trust crypto?

I'm wondering what your opinion is about this.

All this means is that crypto is still in its baby shoes and there is a lot of time and potential waiting for us ahead. This is why its important to keep hodling your crypto, especially Bitcoin.

It will take a while until we reach full global adoption and recognition of Bitcoin but I believe we will see it happen in the near future.

Obviously the older generations will not be happy about anything new and will probably not seek to adopt it. But good news! We have the younger generations growing up WITH Bitcoin and crypto! Grin

Only a matter of time until full adoption.

Some people do think that they had missed up the train which is partly true but if we do zoom out then it is really just that too early to make up conclusions on being late.Yes, 10 years or a decade might already be that

long but if we do make out some some consideration about on how many % of the overall global population does know about Bitcoin or crypto then it is really just that small or peanut amount or numbers
which means that there's indeed lots of room to grow which you would be considered yourself still included into those early adopters of it or supporter.

This is why dont lost hope but of course when it comes to risks management then you shouldnt really forget this one.

People who don't trust crypto don't know what is it.

It's normal that most people don't even know that bitcoin is a revolution happening in front of them. I think it's because people tend not to follow new technologies and just ignore the stuff they don't understand.

But I'm sure that soon enough even these people will be into bitcoin and will be using it.

Of course, I would also say that people who don't know about bitcoin or cryptocurrency yet have no interest or desire to learn anything new. They are far behind this civilization. If you don't believe about this bitcoin where almost many countries transact through bitcoin then you are nothing but a fool. Bitcoin may have downsides but if you know everything well and invest here, you can be a good bitcoin investor.

You just need a lot of patience and strategy.

Cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin are growing at a fast pace. But the growth usually occurs in modern countries with fast internet. In poor places, especially in remote areas with very low to zero internet connection, many of them have no idea about bitcoin. It is also normal that the young generations are the ones open to new technologies. Of course, some old people can adopt innovations, especially well-educated ones. And most of the time the standards do not depend on the remote places or the poor majority as they are always late when it comes to innovations.

I'm wondering what your opinion is about this.

Cryptocurrencies have gained significant popularity and adoption over the years, but there is still a long way to go before they become normal for everyone.

Confidence in cryptocurrencies varies among different groups of people, with some being early adopters and supporters of cryptocurrencies, while others are more skeptical and cautious.

One of the main challenges in gaining trust in cryptocurrencies is the fact that they are not backed by any government or central authority. what's the impact? This is a hindrance for some people.

A major change has seen in digital transactions from the Covid 19 period. At that time, the use of hard money transactions was reduced massively in most countries of the world. But even a year ago, this type of transaction could not gain so much popularity outside except for certain level people. Similarly, people know about cryptocurrency but with in few days later they have to use it in daily activities. Those who will easily adopt this technology will be able to enjoy maximum advantages from it.

You are right, the challenge of crypto as well as the barrier that prevents crypto from entering the lives of many people, is due to the government. As long as the government orders it to be legally accepted, its dissemination will happen extremely quickly.
Everyone in my locality has heard of cryptocurrency or bitcoin, but the government media always propagates the risks of using it, so most people stay away and don't want to learn about it.

Maybe I can add a little more and it seems that there are other challenges that need attention, namely the perceived volatility and the lack of stability in the cryptocurrency market.

As the technology and infrastructure supporting cryptocurrencies continues to evolve, and more mainstream companies and institutions adopt them, it is likely that cryptocurrencies will become more widely accepted and trusted by the general public in the future.

All the countries of the world are going digital now.Human communication and transactions are also going digital now.  Various banks of the country have now started using the cryptocurrency system.Although still many people don't know about it, but hopefully very soon they will know about cryptocurrency and the time will come when cryptocurrency will come into our life and become normal for all people. But I think very few people will believe in cryptocurrency.Because day by day many scammers are increasing in cryptocurrency

Crypto for newbie can be very complicated because of the process and procedures especially if you intend to explore deeper into all the benefits and possibilities. For example, the other day I did a transaction on the eth network that didn't went through and I had to cancel it, but it is not as simple as click the cancel button. Little things like this can discourage some newbies to put their trust in crypto when any little mistake can result to a loss. This to me is one major challenge.
Proper understanding is very necessary in other to navigate this space smoothly.

What the government does is to spread awareness in order not to fall into scams because a lot of scammers had used the name Bitcoin to trick innocent people and then just gone. But unfortunately, with that idea, many people have been thinking negatively and they thought that Bitcoin is totally a scam thing. That is why I don't blame people to think that way as well because of the lack of education to make these things clear to them and they need someone who has the dedication to help their locals understand crypto and stop them from believing negatively.

Trust in crypto? It's a good question. There's no doubt that investing in cryptocurrency is exciting and interesting, but there are also a lot of risks involved. This isn't your typical investment strategy: if you want to invest in cryptocurrencies, it's best to do so with the help of an experienced professional who can help you avoid making costly mistakes.

And trusting a third party in crypto you'll get even bigger costly mistakes. If you want to trust a third party there is a huge classical financial system which still works and IMO will work for long in spite of a presence of a decentralized alternative. Only if you want to control your money and take all responsibility for that you should choose bitcoin, otherwise it will be a first mistake, IMO. "Not your keys — not your money."

20% is already a nice number and I think many countries has a percentage which is lesser than that but as time goes by these numbers will just increase though we can do something to fasten it and that is by educating the people around us about Bitcoin and then using Bitcoin as one of the payment methods if we have a business. We can post banners, stickers or something else which makes them aware that our shop is Bitcoin friendly.

It is possible that the majority of people will have a trust in crypto and make this as a part of their daily lives but there are still people who will prefer to use the old fiat system because this is where they are comfortable at. We shall only respect their decision.

I agree since as long as government wont legally recognize cryptocurrencies, the impression of many would be that it is only a scheme that would scam them or make their money turn into waste. Although, the world is continuously getting into a more digitalized way of living, majority in my country for example would not be able to adapt, and wont further understand this new currency. But, for those who fully understand the technicality of cryptos and see its potential, trusting it won't be a problem since you know the drill regarding this that you should always check and assess what you are going into.
