Investing is very easy if you have capital.  now what young people have to do after graduating from high school is the main step is to find a job first to get capital because investing in real estate requires large capital, different from investing in cryptocurrencies, you can do it with small or large capital.  That's my personal experience, what I've done now is that investing in land houses exists and crypto also exists

There's something those old rich people didn't tell you, they didn't tell you that back then investing in Real estate was the riskiest among other legit investment business available for them. No one saw that the Real estate business will be as big as it is today and worth over billions of dollars, they Invested in what was risky but they won't tell you that.

Today the riskier investment is cryptocurency and not real estate. Real estate has already established itself and it'll be hard to make money if you don't have money, it take luck to buy a property for less than thousands of dollars and gain on them. Real estate and cryptocurrency investment has nothing to do with age contrary to public belief. I say this because 7 out of my friends are into real estate. They have 60% of the investment in real estate 15% in cryptocurrency and 5% in agriculture and a remainder in other businesses.

I would choose real estate investment over cryptocurrency investment because cryptocurrency is highly speculative, highly volatile and the future is just unknown I would say it is a big Gamble. Your professor is right, the fact of not risking to life would not lead you to success which can be seen when you left your comfort zone and find opportunities. Because if you stay at the stage of "what if?" then you'll not progress as you don't want to try things out. But in crypto, risk couldn't be rely on your courage and faith. Real Estate investment is also lucrative and it is one investment that will never get outdated because generation after generation people will always want to own properties. But the only limitation that is associated with Real Estate investment is that it is capital intensive, forget the risk because life itself is a risk. I think depends on your age. Better is a combination of both always. There is obviously a meter of your life, in early ages with lesser responsibilities you have the bandwith to take more risks without any worries but eventually there will be a time when you won't have that much risk aversion. So take risks at the right time in your career so that even if things go wrong you have a lot of buffer time to regrow yourself.

Age never matters how much ricks you will take or how much profit you will make. If you want to make big profits, you must take big risks.  But if you want to make small profit then you can definitely think about low risk investment. In this case, your age does not matter much.  But yes it matters that when you are older you must be the breadwinner of a family and your financial condition must be good so you should always keep an eye on big profits.  But if you do it at a younger age, you will be able to live a much happier life later.  So I think risk or big profit doesn't matter for one's age

Big profit does not mean that it should be bigger than the cryptocurrency return. Real estate and cryptocurrency are completely  two very different investments because they have unique risks and rewards. Return from real estate can be from rental income, appreciation, or resale. It is more stable and less volatile than cryptocurrency because property values tend to increase over time and real estate is a tangible asset that can generate rental income. I think that's why older people invested from it is because aside from the fact that they have no enough access yet in cryptocurrency, real  estate is something that they can use and at the same time earn income and easier to manage. Whether which one is the better investment depends in our financial goals and risk tolerance.
