Well bitcoin still remains the supreme coin among all coin, anyone thinking something else is on his own. Despite we have other currencies it doesn't means they can't operates independently without bitcoin and we know too well that is the first digital currency that gives birth to other currencies through the formation of bitcoin all other coin where created out of it. I don't think if there were no bitcoin if other would like exist for that we give respect and maximum regards to bitcoin because is the way maker for other cryptocurrency.

It is not matter of abuse or demeaning altcoins, if I had to guess I would say that the fixation for Bitcoin over other assets it is a natural and collectible way of thinking to counter the infinite rain of shitcoins and blatant scams seeking for rob us blind.

In my own point of view, it is healthy to stick to Bitcoin or have both Bitcoin and some altcoins which has proven to be legitimate projects and have a reasonable use case.

To be honest the facts are there that place bitcoin as supreme so it’s not wrong or bragging to claim bitcoin to be supreme is just only stating the obvious fact.

Bitcoin is the only coin I can hold now and have more than average assurance that its won’t go worthless, there are good altcoins like Ethereum but the adoption and real usage level of bitcoin can not be compared to any altcoin.

I think being supreme is subjective.  For me, Bitcoin is too volatile as a currency to be supreme. Bitcoin Maximalist as usual see Bitcoin as the only superb currency in the whole world and I do respect that since they see something in Bitcoin that others don't.

Uhm because he's right? If you consider yourself a bitcoin purist/maximalist maybe get yourself checked? Just because bitcoin remains supreme in market cap doesn't mean all other coins are useless or irrelevant. I'll have you know that after 2019, bitcoin hadn't made any significant impact in the redefinition of the cryptocurrency industry besides the occasional bull runs it initiates. DeFi, NFTs, and many more have come from altcoins and we can't just sideline how impactful these ventures have become not only to the profitability of bitcoin but with its social media traction as well.

Let me start by saying that bitcoin is different from cryptocurrencies.
I'm not against the existence of altcoins, but let's be clear here, there are altcoins and there is bitcoin. All other coins more or less copy the idea.

It is what he thinks and considers based on their experience, research, and also what they are earning so far. For some people, Bitcoin is not only the first cryptocurrency, but this is the most trusted, worthies, and also the most valuable cryptocurrency compared to others. I do really agree with this. Bitcoin is the best and none can compete with Bitcoin in some terms. there may be many altcoins that have various benefits, concepts, and also leading technologies than Bitcoin. But, they are not able to compete in terms of value, market cap, trust, and reputation. Because not all altcoins are able to survive in any condition. However, I also don't think that all altcoins are trash. There are still some worthy altcoins, but not much.

While there are a few maximalists out there which take things too far, they are not really wrong, lets look at this from another perspective, there are only a couple of hundreds of countries out there with their own fiat currency, do we need the almost 23k coins listed on coinmarketcap? Obviously not, at most we need a hundred of those coins, and I am being extremely generous as we need way less than that, meaning that 99.57% of the altcoins that exist are useless, which explains the extreme disdain some maximalists have for altcoins.

You have raised an important point.  It is true that Bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency that has significant value and impact on the cryptocurrency market.  There are many other cryptocurrencies that offer unique features and have a strong community of supporters.

But in all honesty I don't see any future for any other cryptocurrency as a means of payment while NFTs can coexist outside of Bitcoin.

Although i agree some of the thoughts of being a maximalist but not all of them – well, most of them.
Especially a maximalist thought towards fiat. Also, of thoughts that others coins – altcoins, are not necessary. Well, there are some that should be coexists with bitcoin on my point of view which gives more like a healthy competitor and availability of options to transfer, hold and use.

Ever since the existence of bitcoin, it's still there and how many altcoins have been there to compete and made due to the inspiration that these developers got from the creation of bitcoin? There were a lot of them.

Many of them became popular and somehow managed to be at the top of the chain but then, because of the development cycle that's happening in the market, new coins are coming out then these known-popular altcoins from before became worthless as years have passed by.

Bitcoin is surpreme because by looking at its status in the market, no matter what new developments and projects comes out. People have already the trust that only bitcoin deserves. Bitcoin will always reign supreme. That's not to say that other altcoins won't satisfy other use cases or that none of them will also succeed. However, when it comes to an alternative to the monetary system, being a sound alternative store of value, and technically/economically superior economics to most/all other forms of currency/assets, Bitcoin will likely always reign supreme.

maybe yes because they only own bitcoin as a cryptocurrency asset and don't have anything altcoin to compare it, and maybe wrong because they don't know if cryptocurrencies, like bitcoin, eth, bnb and others are support from each other. so that case, bitcoin can't stand for himself, bitcoin need altcoin as a pole and as a symbiotic relationship of mutualisrm.

Most times the reason why bitcoiners talk shit about some coins is because they are just cheap copies of Bitcoin claiming to be what they are not. And also because most of them were created to scam newbies, so those bitcoiners that know what the true intentions of the project team are try to warn the community and that ends up making them angry because they have been exposed.
We have some projet that bitcoiners support and know that such a project is solid and have some unique utility that they offer, but that's different from trying to save funds from ICO so they can carry out their exit scam.
