The price of bitcoin will continue to rise but you cannot expect it to happen every day because we have seen how bitcoin has moved so far. Usually, after reaching a high price, bitcoin will experience a decline or correction, which can bring the price to a lower price or stay at the current price. There is always some correction waiting for every pump, if you are accumulating Bitcoin for the long term do wait for some retracement, it always happens, also it's possible that the government from US can still come up with some disgusting news, and no doubt, it will affect the market again, take it easy and keep taking advantage of the retrace.

If you are asking for the long term, then of course, bitcoin will hit $50k, and moreover, it can generate new ATH. But if you ask short term this year, no one can predict and give you an exact answer. When it comes to investing, have a plan that includes specific buying and selling goals or only selling at a profit. You can't invest without any plan, don't invest according to anyone's advice but do your own research and make your own decision.

There are always two possibilities, the price could reach $50K or higher but it will take time to get there, and the price will probably correct before the market finally recovers. So don't be too optimistic and don't be too pessimistic, but I'm tend to believe that $50k will be made again regardless of this year, next year, or after the halving.

If you have bought bitcoin under $20K, then it's fine for you to sell them now. But if you are willing to hold on to it, then there is a chance you will generate higher returns than you are now. Agree, if some kind of event happens again in the market that causes bitcoin to fall to a new bottom, this will make many doubt, perhaps there will even be those who want to sell at a loss in order to save part of their investment. These questions are repeated repeatedly, but that is the common mentality of newbies. I just checked OP's account, and he only entered the market last November, for such a newbie who hasn't experienced bear season before, not fully trusting bitcoin is also an understandable thing.

OP, I'd say the future of bitcoin is unpredictable, but you and I and everyone here invest in it, so we need to trust it and our own decisions. Improve your knowledge, learn technical analysis, and make your own predictions, don't invest in emotions.

As you have seen recently, the price can rise sharply in a short period of time, but it can also fall. In my opinion, the price could continue to rise, but whether it can really reach 50k$ remains to be seen. I actually don't expect a price like this until next year, so I remain sceptical. For me, 50k$ is just too close to the last ATH and therefore I don't assume it.

You are participating in a bitcoin forum, and with this type of question, what would you expect the answer to be? And I also agree with everyone, bitcoin will rise and hit new ATH in the future. But if you are not confident enough to hold and are already profitable then you can sell your bitcoins. When you have more faith in it, you can invest whenever you are ready.

Should be on speculation I guess. But if we would base on charts and price actions, the market behavior is currently and still bullish for not falling to buyer's area still. But for sure it would give us a hard time because it is continuously falling and increasing as time is passing by. But if we would base with the behavior itself, it could either go up crossing $32k or fall down til $20k. No one is certain, for sure. What we need for a clear trend line to occur is for an enough reason to take place in or for this industry.

You are participating in a bitcoin forum, and with this type of question, what would you expect the answer to be? And I also agree with everyone, bitcoin will rise and hit new ATH in the future. But if you are not confident enough to hold and are already profitable then you can sell your bitcoins. When you have more faith in it, you can invest whenever you are ready.

Biases are more likely to be told but what should we expect? Ofcourse we would prefer positive viewpoint in this industry than for people to suffer from their losses on FOMOs. ATH for sure is still far from the present but good things are in line already and the only thing we should do is to be patient.

All depends on speculation.  I assume you are new to the forum because you have very little activity.  If for now I suggest you to hold your BTC because I believe BTC price will hit ATH and I suggest you if you have financial freedom that you wait for BTC to touch $50,000 but if you need a lot of money I think you can sell it at $30,000 :  D

No one knows for sure whether Bitcoin will go up or down for some time to come because this is directly related to price fluctuations. So to make sure it goes up or not, it would be very difficult to explain more specifically. The beginning of the year to date Bitcoin has shown a huge increase and you should already have references on its journey, if you are one of the long term holders and not selling at this time also looks good for investing in Bitcoin.

But if you want to get a small profit for now you can sell it and you can use the repurchase when Bitcoin has decreased, it depends on how you take a portion for the investment you run.

We are just being optimistic about it's growth but it will definitely go up in the long run phase because of mass adoption and less supply.At this time we are seeing progress in btc so in the long run also it will continue to rise but we will see lot of fluctuations also.I am hoping that soon $30k price range will be crossed so let's hope for the best and see what happens next.

I never read any predictions that Bitcoin will rise to its current price. All the forecasts I saw showed that the price will depreciate or remain stable at maybe $20,000 till next year. The currentt mini-bull run has shown that Bitcoin price movement cannot be predicted. Bitcoin adoption is getting stronger every day because awareness is growing. Bitcoin critics mocked the sector because of the fall of some crypto ventures last year. This year the same critics are seeing banks fail thereby making people seek other alternatives. More banks will still fail this year and it might keep affecting the price of bitcoin positively.

I think we all know how bitcoin price movement pattern. Prices don't go up forever without correction, so even in the long term we can expect higher than $50k, but right now we are very hard to say.

Bitcoin can move in all directions, so we can't just settle for one direction and ignore the others. The current trend is good to expect $30k to be broken, but it is always possible to get a correction below $25k again if negative sentiment persists.

If you're going to sell, do so at the end of 2024 or early 2025 as that will likely be the end of the current cycle and prices would theoretically be at new all time highs.

Hopefully it may continue to rise to $50000,even though no one really knows to be exact but for speculations.but I'm of the opinion that it will keep rising as the price tends to significantly increase this year.for sure BTC has a history of bouncing back even though it remains a volatile asset.

It's your own BTC, so you have every right and free will to do whatever you wish to do with it. But if you are really concern about missing the chance to join the rise, then start doing DCA. Buy with some and keep some on hold. You can get chance to buy at low as the crypto market is volatile. No one can say for sure what to come next. So it is best to stay prepared for all scenarios.
One more thing I will say is that Bitcoin is for long term investment plans. So it is best if you are able to buy at low and hold it for a long time. But it's totally up to you. Your strategy maybe different from mine. So DYOR, make a plan, and stick to it no matter what. Don't let your emotion take control over your decision.
