If I would be you, I'd stay at your current job. Maybe your job isn't high paying, but it's guaranted and stable income. What would you have if you would leave it? If it's your main account, I don't see how you can earn something significant now. Your rank is low and it's quite long way until you will able to earn money using. But even with high rank account I wouldn't not rely on income from Bitcointalk. Ok, maybe one month you will get good money, but nobody knows what will happen next. Maybe you won't be accepted into signature campaign or you will get scammed. What would you do then without income?
And as already said above, Bitcointalk shouldn't be considered as place to make money, it's more about getting some extra income while doing things that you like. Well, unless you're doing business here like selling various your services.

Do you have savings that can give you shelter/food when you focus on bitcointalk? If answer is yes, you may quit. If no, continue with your job and focus on bitcointalk in extra time.

Do I quit my Job for Bitcointalk? (This is running through my mind)

First things first, why do you think you are hired by the bitcointalk to do any type of job ? I understand that you mean to say that should you quit your job and start earning from signature campaigns and bounties but your mindset is not right.

Well, your rank is too low to join any signature campaign and bounties won't make you any money as you will end up getting useless tokens which you may not be able to sell anywhere.

I would suggest that if you are not happy with your current job that pays you 300$ a month for a 24/7 work, you should start finding a better job in the real world and quit your current job once you have a new better one.

And Bitcointalk should never be considered as an alternative to your job, even if you attain a high rank in the forum.

I've seen so many posts like OP's here where they say things like they "want to do bitcoin(talk) full time" and it's a bizarre statement because it's so vague.

Why in the world would you quit a stable job even if it pays shit in order to spend all your time on a discussion forum?  Even if you're in a signature campaign, you can do that in your spare time if you're a decent writer and you can still make a decent amount of dough.

OP, as they say, don't quit your day job.

merits will be a much bigger obstacle for the majority, especially if there are less and less active merit sources that will reward quality posts.
Even if there are enough people around to Merit the posts, I'm afraid that a user with the only intention to earn a living out of this forum and signature campaigns can actually focus on the quality of their posts and put enough effort to be worthy of getting Merits. Even if they manage to get some, their focus will probably be more on the monetary side.

If he focuses more on learning and educating himself with everything about blockchain, Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies in general, he will definitely have more chances of getting Merits and a higher rank in the long run.

It's still a long shot for you to get a job here in the signature campaign if that's what's your planning to do and the competition is very stiff also, so I don't recommend like all the others quitting your current job right now, you're going to starve and you'll regret it, I don't know who advises you or why do you think signature campaign can be a full-time job, it's a freelancer job don't replace it with a regular job that you have.

But if that's your goal, take your time but never quit the job that you have right now, if you can have another day time to replace the current one with a short period of time then check that option.
Just post good stuff and you will eventually get on a status where you can participate in a signature campaign.

With only 11 activities and one merit since I joined bitcointalk in January, 2023, I am currently faced with the dilemma on focusing on bitcointalk in other to learn/earn, but my current job is so exhausting that it takes virtually all my time.
Be active more often, if you have a smartphone or a tablet at work, you can log in and post once a few hours and thus be active throughout the day. But you have to keep the effort from your side.

Quote
Bitcointalk is the in-thing, but it requires time and efforts to grow and my Job do not give me enough time. My Job is more like 24hrs Job were I can be called to duty when I am resting/sleeping.
If your job is a demanding one, it should be given more focus, but I am sure that you job would have to deal with problems in real life which need solving rather than the forum where no one would be hurt even if you become inactive.

My Job pays less that $300 a Month.

I am in a serious dilemma.
The forum will be here for a while but there is no guarantee that campaigns will be on forever. But you job is there for now which is giving a daily income. With a little effort form your side you should be able to manage both without distress.

Quote
I need some motivating advice on what to do.
You need to motivate yourself, no one will come and babysit you. Analyze your work pattern and see when you can take time out to post in the forum. Be active on the forum and you will grow your rank gradually.

I think you shouldn't leave a job that can produce for your needs because it's important how you can make ends meet with the job you're currently doing, while work in bitcointalk is uncertain unless you become a service provider, you already have customers plus you're still a beginner, so you really need at least 2 years to get a better ranking and it must be accompanied by your knowledge of course consistency.

You can start again at this forum at any time without having to leave work even though work takes up half the time but I'm sure some of you will have free time where maybe when work is off or even on weekends so you can use the forum for free time instead of focusing here but had to leave work then it was a bad mistake.
