Anything is possible in the market, we could dump further down than the current all time low Bitcoin reached few months back or  we could keep going up because the market just yesterday touched a new all time high of $30k. It doesn't really make how the market goes but don't think anybody here can predict accurately the outcome, everybody's guess is just as good as yours.

What you should do is just invest now and keep holdings until the next bull market comes. The market might dump or pump before the next Bitcoin halving comes but that doesn't matter because by the end of next bull cycle, you should be in profit for investing in Bitcoin today.

You know, having the plan of a long term investment especially the idea of waiting for the next ATH or at least a price range around the current ATH would still give you a decent profit even if you buy at the current price. $5k is a good sum and the current ATH guarantees you at least 2x of your capital ($10k).

Where you might have issues is when you don't get to follow through with your plans, it's theist you should do to ensure profit at least Bitcoin has got some securities on it and you have a better chance at getting some good returns than you would have in other projects.

Either able to speculate either the coin would dip more, its something not to say for sure. The movements have been good and price at the time is around $30k.

You can buy it whenever you want as long as you have some spare cash. Even if I have a spare, I'll buy it with bitcoin because I don't want to miss the train like in the past because we were waiting for the dip but it turned out it was already the dip and just left us because we hadn't bought. Also, buying right now is a good preparation for next year's halving, so I am hoping for a positive year next year. I just need to work harder so that I can accumulate enough bitcoin.

If you do not know how to read TAs which is not even accurate most of the time, it would be easier to start doing a DCA. The most common in DCA is to regularly accumulate weekly or monthly. Some are making their DCA by only buying during dips, but this might be difficult though as we do not know if it happens or how deep the dip will be. Nonetheless, DCA saves you time and effort. Not really free but most likely you won't feel that much stress. 

According to the 4-year cycle which is not guaranteed, of course, next year is the start of the bull run. So you better start doing DCA before the price increase further.

Bitcoin is recovering from the previous dip and we know that there's a bull signal coming but we don't know the specific time. Bitcoin have already hit it's ATL during the bear season and aiming for another high range, bitcoin surpassed $30k and there's hope that  it will runup to $100k as predicted by Pro traders in the market. Long term project mostly end up in enormous profits and Bitcoin is a prominent project, it have done good moves in the past and this year, it won't be an exception.

Bitcoin is currently a little above $30,000, and I believe its not late to buy even at this price, as long you are not buying and holding for the short term.

And whether bitcoin will go down again below $20,000, I am not going to say it's impossible, but to be honest, the chances of this happening at this time is very slim.

While the price of bitcoin can go up and down like any other asset, it is clear when we look at the historical charts that on average bitcoin only does one thing, and that is to go up in price, this means that the more people wait the more money they will have to pay for their bitcoin on average, only those which have a profound knowledge about technical analysis have the skill to time the market accurately and buy when the price is low, everyone should instead just employ DCA and buy bitcoin whenever they have some spare money and save themselves the trouble of trying to predict the direction the market is to take.
