Well with less people there will be more probability of the win, isn't ? Yeah the fun part may be less with fewer people but i think one can still enjoy the pool with 8 to 10 people.

Finally, the regular matches of the IPL have finished and we are now left with just 4 playoff matches.  The real battle is now between you (Alone055), me (noormcs5), libert19 and umeridrees to reach the top 3. Doing a bit of math, a maximum of 8 points a person can get from here on in if he predicts correctly the four matches along with the margin.

Since you have a 3 points lead, it seems that you will remain at the top but the 2nd and 3rd position is totally uncertain at this moment.

As we are approcahing the final stages of the tornament, the result are becoming quite abvious now. Its seems that Alone055 will be the winner of this tronament. He remained on top for that last many days and rightly deserved it. libert19 has a slight chance to beat him if he can win with margin however do note that in these playoff matches you will get 1.5 for a win and 2.5 (1.5+1) if you win with a margin.

The prediction started good for me, at the end I was quite down the leaderboard. It is really nice to see the top four contenders having close competence. As of now the difference between the first and second position is just 1.5 points. If both takes different team order to win in the upcoming matches we can see variation in the result, else this is the outcome after the final match.

libert19 has a slight chance to beat him if he can win with margin however do note that in these playoff matches you will get 1.5 for a win and 2.5 (1.5+1) if you win with a margin.

Yeah got VERY lucky in last two predictions. That extra 0.5 point helped a lot.

This is not only for you but for everyone.  
I also faced the same issues and yesterday at one point, everyone's point was showing as Zero.

We are now left with the final match of the tournament. I think Alone055 and libert19 will finish 1st and 2nd respectively. Its between me and umeridrees who will be at the number 3 spot to get the prize. However umeridrees have a slight advantage as he is 1.5 points above me. He needs to predict the final match wrongly and I need to predict correctly in order to switch the positions

The difference between MI and GT was GT's opener Gill. This young man is too good. Fearless, quick decision maker, hungry for run separated him from everyone else. Two consecutive centuries then one 40+ innings and then again another century, he is showing his class. I don't know if he is in India's T20 squad but if he is not then he is becoming headache for existing openers for India's T20 squad.

The difference between MI and GT was GT's opener Gill.

Yes Gill is in form, but it's his dropped catch from Tim David and some other relatively hard chances that were choked that made the difference.

This is very unlikely to happen that you lose today's prediction (well can happen) but at the same time the other person wins and wins with a margin (very low probability). By the way, did superbru told us that there will be a change in the points for the playoffs and the finals   Maybe i missed it somehow.

Anyways I wish I end up in the third spot after the finals so that i am eligible for a price

That made me check, and apparently there is different scoring for playoffs/qualifiers and finals. You can read about it here. Also, shows under 'Matches'.

I'll still need to get pick + margin right despite right pick getting 3 points in finals to get to the top and ofc you must lose

This was one of the most interesting finals I have witnessed. Seeing the revised target of 171 runs, I thought that it will be even more difficult for Chennai super kings to chase this one but they chased this difficult target and won the IPL.

I picket Gujarat for the finals and therefore got zero points on this match. However seeing the Leaderboard, Alone055 just won this competition only by a margin of 0.5 points. How close was that

Well, we just finished this wonderful IPL season and superbru competition with the following standings. It was a wonderful 2 months of jam packed action.

Congratulations to Alone555 for being the winner of this competition along with libert19 being the runners-up. I finished up 3rd.
