Would you buy car insurance with BTC?

So in order for me to offer this there is a few strings I'll have to pull and would most likely setup subscription based payment via coinbase. The rate would be lowest one found across various vendors generally progressive is always the best rates.

What my main concern is if I am able to offer this for BTC how many people here would actually be interested?

In near future lot of public services will be paid in BTC or some altcoin. Cell phone bills, insurance, medical exams ....

This is only matter of time for government community to accept this ass means of paying.

I don't think that car insurence will really have a blast in BTC. You are paying it once a year or once a month and you can convert your BTCs for that.

I completely agree but I am all about being the "first" to accept BTC. I was so happy to finally introduce a MMO gold site and was the first to accept BTC as a payment form. In order for me to offer BTC for car insurance I need to gauge interest in it.

Let me explain the type of insurance this will be the license is not for any specific one company. How this works is I run some info on your current coverage with a lot of various companies to find the absolute lowest rate possible.

Why I want to offer this is for something promotional worthy but to make it even worth while I need to really see if offering this to the bitcoin realm if it would actually be supported, and lets face it we need something positive in the bitcoin scene.

Why don't you buy other insurances ass well. Pay college for kids or in some countries buy even real estate. This is good to think about it but in reality it will take look of time.

Watch tv series "Almost Human" where is several situation BTC was involved for ransom cuz its untraceable. For all this it will take time maybe much sooner then we expected.

Honestly it might be interesting if the conversion is done to fiat each month if it is based on bitcoin price then it may change the rate from month to month so it would be a bit tricky, interesting though.

It will only be interested to the people who already have bitcoins or getting by it. And I rekon not many are there in this criteria right now. It would be just an hassel.

but hell someone has to start. So, wiith good promotion it might turn out in profit as well in long run..
