Six months to one year is not enough to assume that you are investing in bitcoin. For me, you are just a long-term trader and not an investor. Investors in the crypto industry must be willing to wait for more years because the bearish run can last for more than a year. If your investment plan is within one year, you might be forced to sell your coin lower than the price you bought. The price of bitcoin is unpredictable so nobody can claim to be a master of the market to predict accurately if the price will go up or down. That's why it will be better to invest what you can afford to lose.

I have not had an interest in buying any other coin apart from bitcoin because some of them are not always what they claim to be. Bitcoin has been consistent and dependable for a long time and it my suits my investment plans.

I would say that it is not nice to gatekeep bitcoin investments. I mean whatever people are feeling comfortable with, they should invest that much and for that long period. If you want to invest for 6 months, then go ahead and do that, if you want to invest for a year, then go ahead and do that, and if you want to invest and hold for 20 years, do that too.

There is no right or wrong here as long as you manage to make a profit, and even if you end up losing money just figure out what went wrong and try to not do that again and repeat again with a better understanding and you should be better. Just because we can hold for decades, doesn't mean we should see other investors as weaker.

Optimism is good, but when giving investment advice to someone, we should not assert it because it could harm them. To be fair, no one knows what the market will be like tomorrow, so OP needs to determine that investing is risky and should only be invested when you are ready.

I think it's the beginning of the bull season and you actually didn't miss the bottom. There is still chance to enter the market and hold it for the bull season to get the highest profit from Bitcoin. Therefore, buying at any price point would be fine as long as the investor could endure market price downfalls often. The TA that you provide only shows that Bitcoin should retest 200MA line multiple times before that mega bull run happened. Analyzing your chart shows that the current price is on the very early of the bullrun cycle. There will be a lot of opportunities to buy low during retest on MA.

You are just being paranoid on the arrow that you project for the price pump of Bitcoin. Bitcoin will move on a long sideways with multiple retesting on the 200MA before it will pump. There’s still a lot of time tho. You just need to be patient.

I don't think you should ask other people about this, there are lots of people out there speculating about bitcoin but with the end of their words namely DYOR, what is meant is for you to look for or analyze yourself in deciding to invest.
Because basically if you rely on other people's speculation you will feel disappointed if it doesn't match what they say and you will say that they are liars.
Here we are talking about bitcoin don't drag altcoins in here to dirty the discussion.

Want to do DCA or do it all at once, this strategy has its own risks and pressures, I suggest that when you have bought it, hold it for a long time.
Only if you have the mindset of holding on for the long term I believe you will get decent returns from bitcoins without having to watch the market closely causing you to procrastinate to start jumping in and buying bitcoins.

Of course, the market is heading towards bull season because there are only two natural phenomenon/season in the market but as of now, the market is not yet giving any signs that the bull is already coming soon enough. Bitcoin, though at Rs 16,000, is very difficult to recover from now, but it can still be very profitable to buy.Because the bull run has not fully started yet.And if history goes by, Bitcoin may touch 20000 once again.
You can make some investments now and buy some investments if Bitcoin goes down.
As far as altcoins are concerned, there are good and strong projects in the market that can give a great rally in a bull run.As in the previous bull run, some altcoins performed strongly.You can take matic coins , sand, mana and ocean protocol, gala, the Graph can give you good profit.Because they have great potential.And the season of altcoins has not yet started and when it starts expect huge profits.

I'm quite surprised that you & some other people still think we are not in "Bull market" considering you are wondering if this is the begining of bull market. I have noticed some people who just don't want to believe we are in bull market probably due to their past predictions that were wrong or were relying on wrong predictions. So they choose to dwell in a delusion and false reality that we are in bear market rather than accepting they were wrong.

To be able to make some basic & fairly accurate calculations where the market will be in 6months to 1year it's important to recognize the fact that we are already in a bull market which will be coming to an end soon, and after that comes the bear who will be allowed to dominate for sometimes... But before that the bull will continue until +30,000

I honestly will not advice you to invest for just 6months and even 1 year at this current price since you do not yet know we are in bull market and can't determine the maximum price Bitcoin will stay through out the year with a support/minimum price  it will be touching once in awhile.  If you buy at the support you will probably still sell at the support around the 6month to 1year time period.

It's important to accept that we are in bull market so that you may have some idea where we are heading to next.

Bitcoin starting with ATL is a good entry, however I missed out on the project but I'm back in because some of my accumulations of bitcoin and setups triggered my position back to bitcoin. There's time to hop in and it's never too late to bagged bitcoin. Patience and good entries is the key to reaping profits from bitcoin. The market is volatile and we should expect the bull season anytime soon, and Bitcoin will be the first to make price correction in response to the bullish season. Predicted bull season is at the corner and we should make good use of our time to grab good entries on bitcoin.

There is nothing wrong with a short-term investment of 6 months or 1 year because each person has a different investment situation and mindset. But history has also shown that holding bitcoin for a long time reduces risk as well as provides better returns. If you want to invest for the short term, as long as you know what you are doing with your money and are willing to take the risk, then you can invest. But if you just want to make a quick profit and don't want to risks then bitcoin is not for you.

It doesn't matter if it's a short term or a long term investment, the important thing is to hope you know what you're doing with your money, investing or gambling.

Regardless of your capital and experience in crypto trading the best investment strategy for everyone IMO is to invest for long term. Day trading (or short term trading) may look attractive to those who are not into it but once you start doing day trading you can feel the heat. There are very few people who can handle the wild fire of Day Trading.
Bitcoin price is going up and this is time when experience traders sell and novice people buy. One need to be careful if he is buying bitcoin at current price since in bullish market there is always risk involved which is more then bear market. DYOR.

So it depends on how we execute the market and ofcourse the execution rely on your emotions.
