I played on histakes.io before and I am almost certain that I heard about them from a ANN thread on this forum, so I cannot see why people are doubting the site so much. I will take some time and look for it, but the "look" of the site might be very similar to other sites.

In any way.. I am glad you got back all of your money and that the site honored your withdrawal. We see a lot of the smaller sites struggling to payout large withdrawals quickly..... but it might be because they do bulk extraction from cold storage to protect their bankroll.

Op, what's your next plan? Are you still going to continue using this casino after all this trouble you went through? 
You saw the majority of users here saying that this was the first time they heard about this casino and my advice is that you should look for a more reputable casino here in Bitcoin I'll suggest you check out; duelbits.com, stakes, betcoin.ag, Betnomi, etc. They have representatives here and will be willing to look into any issues you might face and resolve them as soon as possible.

The biggest mistake anyone can do when it comes fo online gambling is making your first deposit on a gambling platform that you know too less information about, I have never had about mistakes before and it doesn't sound familiar at all, it means it's less popular, probably a scam casinos, newbies will make stupid mistakes and that's when they will remember to make a post about their mistakes on the forum, Why can't they ask if it's safe to deposit and gamble at a casino first before making the decision?

Thank goodness if in the end your money has been returned in full, even though it takes 6 days of waiting. But most importantly, you get your rights back. speaking of casino Histakes, I don't really know the track record of the casino platforms you mentioned. however if I refer to some of the other members, as they share in the Trustpilot link. there are some negative comments regarding the casino, although there are also some positive comments below it. and reflecting on the case you experienced, it will actually be a valuable experience for you in the future. plus, to be even more careful in choosing the casino that you will use.

Speaking of sportsbooks, we have some trustworthy casinos in the community. however it's a shame, if some of the casinos we have in the community don't have the league market you need. To be honest, I have never tried to use a crypto casino outside the community. yes, no other words, other than for our own comfort and safety.

Glad to hear that you got your winnings back. It is necessary to play in a casino with good reputation. I know that these types of casinos doesn’t have the required markets and league, but it’s better to play on a site which is trusted, rather than playing on a site whose reputation is not determined and all the markets are available there. To be honest I wouldn’t have thought to do a bets worth of 8000$ in such a site whose name I haven’t heard from many popular places. Still you should thank your luck that you got your funds back. Now from next time onwards, choose the sportsbooks carefully.

Hi, does anyone have any past experience with histakes.io?

I had recently deposited and won on their sportsbook. They then decided to close down their sportsbook and leave only the caisno open. Since i dont play the casino i went to withdraw
Sent in all my documents that say verifies on their site.

they gave me 1 withdraw of $200 but the rest of the withdraw ($8000) was rolledback
next day I went to withdraw again, and it has been pending for 5 days now.

I know a lot of casinos are not scams, but I know of some friends who have ran into bad experiences with crypto casinos so naturally i am worried about my funds

No I wont be using Histakes as they have removed their sportsbook, I only bet on sports.
I have been limited from Stake.com for winning too much i guess.
Betcoin.ag actually accused me of cheating after I made a withdraw and said that they think I am part of some "betting syndicate" and that I am not the actual person placing the bets. So they paid me (because they couldn't provide proof) and closed my account.

Of course, we can't blame others if they are concerned about the stakes because they may be just being careful as an individual player on a gambling platform here in the crypto space as well. Because there are other crypto gambling that do not immediately allow their players to withdraw money from their platform especially if it is a large amount.

To tell you truth, i heard this casino name for the very first time and therefore I never played at this site.

I usually play only at those casinos which have a presence on bitcointalk. The reason for this is there are too many casinos out there these days and we never know which ones are good and which one are scams. Even sites like trust pilot may not give you true feedback and some feedbacks are even paid ones.

Those gambling sites who have their ANN here, it's easy to know about those sites and how good they are by reading the comments on those ANN threads.

If histake had an ANN on this forum, things would have been different altogether. First of all, no one would have said that they hear the name of this casino for the first time because everyone would have know about the casino. Secondly, if the casino were honest, people would have blamed the OP that it must have been OP mistake that he is having trouble at the casino while rest of the gamblers having no issues. Also in case, it was already known as a scam casino, people would have told OP why he played at that casino when it was a known scam site.

But now, since we do not know about the histake casino, we cannot give the right verdict as to whether it is a fault at the part of the player or the casino really scammed him

After your account is fully verified, the casino should not have any doubts about you and should send the money to you.
But unfortunately, they delayed it and said that is because of a high volume of withdrawals.
It does not make sense because they should process your withdrawal.
After all, you already passed their rules and verified as they want.
But I also see that you say the casino is new, so I guess you know the risk.
The lesson here does not use too big of funds to bet because I see you deposited $600 and for a new person in the casino, that is an alarm for them to check your account.
Even if you win a lot, they must check your account.
I hope you will get your money without any delays.

Could be the KYC verification is only to know that he is a fair player but it does not mean that all of the withdrawals are now be processed. It can still be part of their rule when they saw some accounts that is suspicious. If there are no problems and it's written in the rule that KYC can increase limits, all withdraws shall be processed instantly after the gambler completed the KYC. Another reason why they delay the withdrawals is like you said because of the high volume of withdrawals going on in the site.

I think it also happens in an online exchange. OP knows that its a new casino but he trusted it immediately with a bigger fund. That's weird? But some casinos are happy about it as long as the player will wager the money and does not withdraw it immediately because it's already suspicious.

We can only take the word of the OP and assume that most likely the delay on his payment happened because as he states he is a gambler which has been limited or his account has been terminated at other casinos because he is a profitable gambler, and in that case it makes sense for a casino to have reservations against those kind of players as they can represent some major financial losses for them, but the most important part is that despite the delay the OP finally got paid.

Yes, the most important thing is that ops got a refund of his deposit from the casino but then some people are not satisfied with just getting a refund of the deposits from casinos they have issues with especially if the player already played and won some money and the casino take the winning and return the deposits.

In this case, they will still feel cheated since their efforts in winning the game become a waste since the winning is not given to them, but I will say ops is lucky to have gotten a refund of the deposits, it's important to play on only reputable casinos that have high visibilities and promotions that way it becomes easier to get some problem solved since the casino will not want to do anything that will affect the reputations negatively, even if a new casino offers x2 odds on games compared to old a reputable casino's small odds its become important to either choose you safety or run after reward.
