Great article, I recommend everyone to read it, it only takes a few minutes of your time.
With more strict regulation and restriction happening everywhere only thing we can do is to build some parallel system for bitcoin payments.
I know governments probably won't like this, but I am not sure what else we can do...

Unfortunately, especially in Europe, with some countries starting to crack down on VPN and DNS services, we will have to think beyond just a payment system.

Indeed a great article.
They have a limit of a thousand CHF a day which is less than $1200
I doubt the government would be concerned about such an amount
And won't state it's used to move illegal funds.

I just recently got the app and I would try and give a review before the month runs out on play store.
But the initiative is the right direction of what we need.

This didn't happen to me but it did happen to someone on the forum. They were verifying their identity on a crypto casino if I remember correctly and one of the ridiculous demands was that the user needed to take a picture holding a local daily newspaper in their hands in front of the building they live in with the address or building number visible on a sign somewhere. The name of the newspaper with the date of release needed also to be visible on the selfie. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that. That's basically a requirement invented so that as few people as possible can pass that verification. Sadly, I forgot the name of the brand that requested that.

I saw similar confessions earlier, but I was convinced that it was some kind of trolling and that someone was just caricaturing to point out the senselessness of the levels in the KYC procedure.
I haven't had similar experiences, maybe because I avoid KYC services. I remember that Binance did not accept my bill for mobile phone services, it must have been something related to the service I use at my place of residence. It wasn't a problem for me, but I suppose it complicated things for those who live in a rented apartment.
