If you have such a greatness of holding, I mean for about 1-3 years, I think bitcoin would be a better choice for your 10k investment. Because the more holdings, the more profit in more cases will come. So, in my opinion that I can say bitcoin is a better choice as compared to ADA.

In my opinion, it is a very nice liquid to fold 10k dollars. It may be better not to think of this liquidity as just XRP or ADA, of course, it is very difficult to predict the future, but XRP is a very speculative coin and it does not seem to be very profitable in its cycles in recent years. it might be better if you distribute this money in more different containers. At least if the next bull gets a solid pump to one of your coins in your pots, you'll get your profits from there.

Between these two coins, I suggest you invest in XRP, as the coin is yet to see a pump, and the chances are that the pump is near. But holding for many years is not advisable. Just earn the profit at the next ATH and exit the market.
I personally think you should diversify your portfolio a little to gain some extra bucks with fewer risks. For the long-term investment, I suggest you go for BTC and ETH only.

That's a fair amount of money. the good news is xrp already win the court case and maybe you already know that. So from now, you Don't always need to be get worry about your investment. You can invest your money with xrp, but yeah you can go for ada too. Smart people always divided their investment and invest with various coin. I have been hearing about kaspa as the choice of many in terms of mining altcoins.

ADA is still down from its ATH and we don't know if it's going to be back there but for those that thinks ADA is a good choice for the next bull run, you know what you're up to guys.

I'll do that and that's why I've read some people talking about it, actually not just some but many and that's not just from the forum but also in different social platforms.

Despite XRP being centralized, can't stop people from investing on it especially these days that it has won against the lawsuit that was filed against them by SEC.

Bitcoin should be the number one choice when ETH can take second place. These two projects will continue to hold their positions no matter what happens to the market. If you wants to invest in top project go for BTC, ETH. But i think we should keep a small allocation for our altcoin market as well because this industry has grown a lot and altcoin has their fair contribution throughout this industry. Also we have seen some low cap altcoin make millionaires in the bull season. Just think of shiba inu  and doge Though I do not like them for being meme project but their growth was unimaginable. We have seen this type of project in every bull season.

If you have fun with extra money to manage your life or you don't have money crisis in your future then you can do bitcoin and ethereum with 10k and get big profit. I would suggest you to stay away from altcoins market because there are risks and your money is high so only buy dependent coins. However use your own thinking power to invest from crypto because you will have to bear the losses later.

I don't know what makes you think of these two, xrp I don't see any airdrops or anything to the community.
and yesterday for ADA I tried several transfers and it took a long time and the fee was also quite large for one transfer.

With not being too familiar with the both Altcoins you mentioned I would not give a quick judge on what you asking for but investing such a huge amount of money into only one Altcoins is extremely risky and you should make more research on that. Yes if the market favors you, their you make good and huge amount of profit from it then if it should go the other way then imagine loosing all in one way, yes we are suppose to remain positive but we got to look in both directions so we know how to avoid risk and not misuse our funds.

Specifically I would advice you to divide the money into 3 parts and make the investment,one part for the XRP, second for Ada and the third one should take the better portion as their is extremely no risked associated with it. Yes I am talking about Bitcoin and it is certified as many already understands and making nice entry into the market. Just a piece of advice

Now XRP has won their case, that might be one proof that XRP is very suitable for the long term. To be honest, I also bought XRP a few weeks ago to prepare for the bull run and my hope is that XRP will give us 3 to 5 times the profits for us. We will definitely invest with that. My personal expectation is that XRP is still worth buying
