In terms of support and communities who are working with both Bitcoin and ETH though the price now is really high but the chance of gaining profits is still possible if are willing to hold in a long term position, it's really good to include both BTC and ETH in your porfolio, then always do your DYOR for you to able to locate what particular coin to add up for your investment, both long and short you can use your money to segregate and buy assets portion by portion, it's good not to invest everything in one basket.

Why not go both? Ripple (XRP) and Cardano (ADA) are good potentially coin to hold this Season , there are some time that it may low but in the coming months or at least a Year? when the bull run happens surely you will get your profit in the coming days after that Bull comes.

I am also having that coins in my pocket now together with my Bitcoin and I think you should do the same mate?

Since you are willing to no time limit and looking for 3-4 x? best not to expect this coming
in 3 years instead wait for another Halving season (the one that after this 2024 halving , meaning the 2028)
and also instead of Choosing why not have it your way to take them both? at least 70% in XRP and 30% in ADA?

These are the most liquid assets at the moment and they should be in the portfolio of everyone who invests in cryptocurrency.But there is another type of modern investors who buy various memtokens for large sums because for them it is more of a lottery than investment.

Are you willing to risk mate? because if yes then I will advise you to go all in to Ripple because look how cheap it is and comparing to its ATH you can be sure that this will at least go back to the old price when the bull market starts , maybe x3-5 from the value today is more than better than dividing into different coins.

Different kind of investors who are trying to make a good use of their opportunity, but like what you mentioned both BTC and ETH if long term wise, those two projects can bring that decent amount of profits, unlike with meme coins where risk is really high, a single mistake can cause your entire investment, there's no turning back once the developers decide to abandon the project, unlike with top projects there are communities that supporting the team and with that, developers will continue to proceed and keep bringing update to attract more supporters and holders.

Before taking your way it's always a must to assess the market and start placing small portion of your initial capital, learn and

The purpose of taking a risk is not to invest in all our capital in one coin. Crypto currency market is definitely risky, but we can make it less harmful to ourselves by our best choice. I don't say that ripple is not a good token,but investing in Ripple with all your capital would be at risk. If the Ripple loses his case to SEC, you can guess what will happen with the Ripple then.

If we look at ADA is getting more pumps to see in it than the Ripple. I think ADA would be the best choice instead of ripple. Maybe those 2 coins is his priority but not closing its door to add more currencies for
diversification ,ADA and XRP is so cheap that if he is going to invest 2k each coin will bring him better
result when bull market comes but better adjust that 3 years to 5  years from now so he may taste
he next bullrun after the 2024 run.

I doubt it mate, because investors can do risk in anything or everything they wanted and I believe
is that choosing single coin can be more profitable if he had lot of funds in bitcoin aside from this 10k for altcoins.

As far as am being concerned, all of these five coins mentioned from you all were not bad for an investment, they are all having a positive market performance and a future prospect of an investment, there are still more better cryptocurrencies that we have with more similar performance and we can make investment in them, but over the years, all these have been proven to be inclusive of the reliable altcoins for an investment.

Having a few altcoins won't diversify your portfolio, because they mostly have the same risk involved. They might give you a different ROI based on their popularity in the market but they have the same kind of risk. Diversify your portfolio, which means lowering the risk of taking substantial risk if the market goes in the wrong direction. If you have 10k funds then the right approach is to put as much of it into bitcoin as it has the least risk and then ETH in second place because of its historical growth record and a small portion of it in low-cap altcoin that haven't seen any bull season till now.

Currently the above listed altcoin by the op, some of their paring is about to be removed from the worlds most popular exchange which is  binance exchange, though their intentions aren't worth the change they are about to do, but it seems it might also have some effect on the coins. So instead of investing on XRP and ADA why not channel the money to Bitcoin investment, after all Bitcoin is the most trusted coin the market and can give you up to 100x when we get to the bull run, it's never too late to start accumulating Bitcoin. By the way I would also advise that we should be cautious when using the binance exchange, cause it seems they are been pressured too much by the SEC

I'd first ask if you have bitcoin or not.  I wouldn't recommend buying either of those before ypu had a decent amount of bitcoin as a hedge.  But if I had to chose it would definitely be ADA.  XRP is centralized and to me barely exists as crypto.  Ripple controls too large of an amount for me to ever take xrp seriously.  What if they dumped into the market, then what would hold the price up?  Too risky.

Binance exchange is removing Busd pairs from its exchange, but this will not have a significant impact on these tokens, as the majority of people trade in usdt pairs. Bitcoin investment is very good and reliable but what you are expecting in bull season is very difficult. Bitcoin is currently trading above $42k, and you are expecting 100x next bull season. Now guess where it could go from 42k to 100x. is it possible in next bull season?

From here, there is no possibility of going 10x in the next bull season. However, if he invests in an alt coin, he may give a coin 100x, but it may be one coin among thousands of coins, which is very difficult to find. Accumulating bitcoin is good but to accumulate bitcoin requires a good amount of capital. If he buys bitcoin for $10k, he may not get that much profit. XRP won the court case so if you want to choose, you might just get into splitting them. But this thread was made several months ago and as per OP's decision he went all in for ADA. Not a bad choice because if he hasn't sold yet, the price from April 2023 to this day made him almost double the price. So, I guess that was a good decision then. But if he chose to go on it with XRP, he didn't double the money but still he's still in profit so, good thing he just chose the right one but this isn't the end for it.

Now XRP has won their case, that might be one proof that XRP is very suitable for the long term. To be honest, I also bought XRP a few weeks ago to prepare for the bull run and my hope is that XRP will give us 3 to 5 times the profits for us. We will definitely invest with that. My personal expectation is that XRP is still worth buying
