Maybe people should also check the OP. This thread was created last year of April 14. If OP did invested $5k each into ADA and XRP then the portfolio is already in gains to the current prices. ADA is 34% up while XRP gained around 13%.

But if the amount was just used to buy bitcoin on the same date, it would've gained 116% in profit. Most of us here are into a diverse number of coins but bitcoin is a must of course. A lot included ethereum in the list as well and it is already 58% up which is still better than ADA and XRP.

Any investment we made and it lasted nothing less than a year will definitely be profitable, this is what some people target on and hold their asset over a particular period of time as they set target for, also, its never a bad idea if we can as well diversify a little, this will also increase our chances, we can sell or buy at any time because we are not investing on a single cryptocurrency, all these are what we are expected to put in consideration before making our investment decision.

we have the bill market this year things that brings the coin behind Solana that gives investors a
better results since last year.

I don’t think it’s smart to invest all that money into one cryptocurrency. You should diversify, and $10k is a huge amount enough to invest in many cryptocurrencies. Maybe you can invest $1k each into 10 altcoins (you can invoice Bitcoin too though). So if XRP or ADA was dumping, your investment wouldn’t be coloured in red.

There are many altcoins you can push this capital to and you will be rest and sure that you will not miss out when the bullish market start  shining in the market, because that is the season many holders want to visit the market to trade their altcoins to make income. I have strong confidence on ADA and XRP, and if you can carry out your personal research to check the history of those altcoins in the market, I think you will like those two altcoin more than other altcoins in the market, because the team that is making their coin to continue displaying in the market are strong team and they will still do more in the nearest future to make their investors to embrace more income. Investing the capital in ten altcoins in the  market is not a good advice, because it will be difficult for you to get accurate income from the ten altcoins but if you chose two altcoin to invest the capital you will definitely get accurate incomes.

How do you mean accurate income? Anyway, ADA and XRP are cryptocurrencies that I respect. I’ve held them before and would hold them again if I had the chance to. However, I think it’s better to diversify. I don’t see how 10 cryptocurrencies is too much for a capital of $10k. I also don’t know why you think it’s not a good advice to diversify, but I hope you fully understand the risk associated with not diversifying.

Generally you can use meme coins more. Bitcoin is the king of all coins, so you can invest 50 percent in Bitcoin and the remaining 50 percent in Altcoin sections. Then your investment will be good enough because if you invest regularly then it will be possible to get maximum benefit from it. Because if the price of Bitcoin goes up, it is certain that the price of all coins will go up.

But he said ADA is up by 34%. Will that be not enough for you? Then you must have a higher expectations than most of us, as we think that gain is already decent. That might be the reason on why ADA is having a slight break time for a while but the coin has a good fundamental, so I'm sure it will do a lot better later on. Solana is indeed one of the top-performing coins lately but what can we do when the OP didn't like it?

So, I am sure that he isn't regretting when he saw its performance. Bitcoin is not a secret anymore and maybe the OP already have that. The same goes with Ethereum, but his focus might be on the lighter coins this time.

It is even possible that the increase experienced by altcoins could be higher than what happened to Bitcoin. Unfortunately not all altcoins can do that, or the momentum can occur alternately and not simultaneously.
Investment is closely related to planning. If you plan your investment well, the results you will get will most likely be good. Pay close attention to how you choose investment assets. it is sometimes difficult to do and more beginners make the wrong first steps when choosing assets.

To me $10k is a good amount to invest in bitcoin. If I had this amount of money I would definitely invest most of it in Bitcoin. From the way I've seen the price of Bitcoin rise this year, I think the price of Bitcoin could reach $100k after the Bitcoin halving. But I also like allocate investment to top alt coins. Ethereum, BNB, Solana have gained a lot this year but are far from past highs. But I am optimistic that investing in these coins can perform well in the coming bull season.
