I do think that risk management and money management are the same, I guess I'm right because managing risk is same as managing your balance so it doesn't get completely wasted. But money management goes a step further to include what you do with your winnings. This is a problem to a lot of gamblers, they win but always lose the money again. Even if they manage risk by gambling with small amount, it is a matter of time before they give all the winnings back. Not only young people are like that. Although according to stats pathological gambling tend to decline markedly with age, there are a lot of people above 50 that are problem gamblers. I'd say about those people that they haven't grown up. That even though they are above 50 by physical age, their mental age is well below 20. All these years haven't given them any wisdom. That's a shame. It's never too late, though. You can start educating yourself after 50 too.

Gambling has been around for a long time and this is something that is difficult to limit because now gambling is much easier for anyone to do without many people knowing. The presence of online gambling makes it easier for people to access it and there is almost no particular age limit involved in it. I look in the neighborhood where I live and there are many middle and high school students who are very skilled at online gambling now.

Something that is done excessively will definitely end badly because people are no longer able to control it. Therefore before gambling takes away whatever we have it is best to stay away from it, but if someone is able to handle finances responsibly, engaging in gambling just for fun is okay.
