Is it advisable to invest on Solana?

It seems though that Solana to me has reach it's peak during the last bull run.

So not sure if it can duplicate that success later or there will be new coins that will come in and then become the latest hype and overcome Solana. We all know how tough is the competition right now, with a lot of good projects also wanting to take that big slice out of the billions that investors are putting money in the altcoin market.

Hard to say right now, it's really up to the OP to make the right decision here.

Regarding the price line, I have no opinion.
About technology, Solana is like a book that is written on top of it and gets thicker and heavier. In 2021 the Solana chain had many stops for repair due to overload.
Regarding the investors behind Solana, I believe many large funds have not yet disbursed their tokens in seed rounds. So let's hope they pump Solana again. For me, this possibility is not high.
FTX has recovered $7 billion and is ready to reopen at an appropriate time. I don't hope much for the return of the FTX exchange when their CEO is being convicted.
Overall, this is not a good project to invest in.

Maybe best to answer this question also "Why SOLANA" mate? there are thousands of crypto currency in exist and many are in good position now, so why SOL?

But about investing in this coin? I think you are good to go but for long term? am not sure about that.
there are so many things to consider and sol has issues need to fix before being trusted .

For a long time, haven't you thought about it, why buy solana coins. Isn't Bitcoin the best choice for the long term. Long-term investment in altcoins still has a fairly large risk, just look at some of the top altcoins that eventually became scams and have been abandoned.

The smart developers will be learning from not to be trapped into the same hole again. solana may have some bad stories last year but nothing happened till this time. Solana is still safe. i think that the old hack is not even related to the blockchain. It's about 3rd party who can't properly handle its platforms. It was affecting so many wallets in the past but it seems like that this time it's quite safe to pick solana as investment.

The bad story will always there for any platforms as long as developers were learning from what happened in the past and i think that it's not a problem to use solana as investment.

Please don't hold altcoins for a long time investing. If you want to hold for a long time, invest in bitcoins. Other projects will die slowly. When it comes to your case, Sol has some good fundamentals. but it does not have good network stability. It is more centralized rather than decentralization.

For me, my first choice is always bitcoin, but it's okay to also buy some altcoins besides bitcoin with part of the capital.

For me Solana is a good option, a strong coin with a good future and I expect it to have a huge price rally with the next bull. But standing advice is DYOR.

Advice is not something I am comfortable doing, it's easy to say not buy something, like I highly advise not to buy doge for example and at the worst case you won't earn money, but not buying will not make you lose money anyway.

However to say that you should buy something is a bit different, it just means that you should not be really looking for that, and it would end up being something a lot worse for you if you buy it and it goes down, so saying you should buy could have bad results. But for this project, SOL looks like something you could avoid and it could be fine, I am not saying it won't go up, but it has nothing special about it that can bring you more money than anything else above it, so it should be alright to avoid it.

I had high hopes for Solana before and even thought of buying and holding it for long-term investment but because of the issues and controversies that it has been facing, I doubted accumulating it. I find it a lot risky to invest in Solana compared to well-established coins so if your goal is for long-term investment, just choose coins with higher potential preferably Bitcoin, Eth, or BNB. There are still lots of reputable coins that you can choose from but always do research especially if you are doubting.

How long? If, for example, for 2-3 years, it is quite an applicable strategy for such an asset, but if for 5-7 years, it is a very bad idea. Many altcoins, especially after some shocks, very often grow in a very limited range and no longer update their ATH, such altcoins need to be able to fix profits in time and not to overextend. There is some possibility that SOL will never reach its ATH again, like EOS for example. So better do your research and decide the time frame of the hold, because solana is not bitcoin and a long hold may not bring the same effect as bitcoin. Keep this in mind.

That is because of the situation we have now, since last year, the market is bearish red and no signs when will it come up again. 2022 wasn't really a good year for investors but in the good side, it's still a good thing for us especially for the beginners because it is not yet too late to buy leading altcoins and bitcoin. The thing about SOL, it's still one of the few top performing altcoins for me but I wouldn't advice anyone to invest on it either unless it's their own decision as they did their own research.
