Woman sells her child to repay loan

Until you know the value of what you have, taking care and measure to protect and preserve it will always be difficult for the person having such possession, how on earth selling a child can be solution to debt payment it show how unwise and lack of value placed on that child they have, this pure human trafficking in idea and working society that woman really need to serve some punishment because such act can repeat it self in another debt since she lack contentment,  in borrow within what she can pay without sell of property or child, I am not ignorant of hardship but the problem of many human is lack of adjustment when they realize that things has changed from the previous life style some pretend and try to covered up and pushing in to debt they can't bear if the woman have husband this will be a collaboration not person decision by the woman, it's a sad news but lesson to learn in adjusting when things are not as expected.

I am not disputing the fact that one may not know the value of what she has until it has been lost but in this situation I see know reason blaming her for her actions as that is her only solution to the problem without knowing it was wrong all because of hardship.  if are are favoured with a source of income do you know how others are now that meeting end needs  is very difficult for the poor masses in the present economy. Apart from showering her with blames have anyone with heart of gold thought of trying to provide for her in her difficult moments, know instead all we are doing is blaming her.

Its the right our governments needs to work on our economy to make life easy for the poor masses because there are people going through rough times now in this present economy. Jobs should be created and other facilities to make life easy for the poor masses in particular needs to be looked into as they are the most affected once now.

To me i see know reason blaming the poor innocent woman that cannot provide a good life for her child and wishes to give the baby out to someone capable of doing it for her. When the challenges of life comes at times it makes one go beyond imagination all just to provide end needs, no mother will be happy seeing her child suffer or even go through shame, they do everything humanly possible to provide a good life for her child so if all her plans failed and the only way to give the baby a good life is to sell her i think is her choice and not ours because even if she meets us for help over 70 percent will not help her so lets respect her decision and think of how to provide for all because assuming she could provide the childs needs such won't have happened.

This reason you gave is still not worth selling your own child. To me selling your own child seems the same as killing that child. It totally a different case whereby you cannot take care of your child and you allow the child to stay with a friend or relative that is ready to help train the child in school and also provide for the child, doesn’t mean you are selling the child out.
Moreover, you know how life is with you and how you’ve been struggling with life, why border carrying a child for nine months. Do you expect money to fall from heaven when the child comes? I believe everyone should be guided and also prepare themselves for child birth, if you don’t have money to take care of a child, don’t bother giving birth.

I will not rush to conclude on this issue but as we all known among the two parents we have, we all know that majority among them that have sympathy for children is the mother, what happened that will let her sell her child to pay back loan. All these reasons you are bringing to us, I see it as useless because that will never solve our problem, and she is wicked to use loan repayment as an excuse to sell her own child. When you are talking of problems, nobody is free from any obstacles but no matter what everyone find a better solution to solve any problem. The main issue here is that we did not even know what she use the money for and now she decided to sell her child just to pay back this money which we don't hear any explanation on what she use it for.

This is unrealistic How could a mother sell her own child in the first place? It's too crazy, and for what? For a loan repayment?

I don't understand if people are becoming too desperate and crazy nowadays, or if I'm just constantly surprised by such news. I understand that she might not have any other options to pay off her loans, but selling your own child goes against humanity and is reminiscent of slavery.

Even if she's living a tough life and might end up going to prison, it's her problem, not the child's. The child must be free and has their own rights that no one can take away from them, the mother should go to jail and be punished for even considering such an act.

This is cruel world. This scene is beating my imagination because I can't comprehend how a lovely mother would give birth, imagine the pains she went through just to deliver that baby and she's keen on selling that baby for a huge amount? Make it make sense if not wickedness and poor planning. This is another day for us to gather together and fear women because that gender are capable of anything.

Everyone have a right to freedom and also a right to life, women should not engaged in any affair without knowing the repercussions. Because they tend to pay dearly in full and this incident alone would ruined the entire life of that woman. This is my kind advice to others out there, don't engaged in any illegal activities or take drastic decisions simply because you're in huge debts, nobody is going to kill you and you deal with your problem.

Please this is a human life we are talking about here, you should not even compare a human life with money, if not that the kind of values we having place on this money ehhh how could you even said such things no matter how I don’t want to even hear what is happening self I will just take the mother to prison with one hand self that very unfair, why didn’t she report the incident to the police officer why would she report to the police, having to read such kind of news break my heart most of the time this is unfair to an innocent child who totally had nothing to do with the reason, and for the fact it was a letter of money that should trigger to sell a child to pay off a loan.
