If I were you I will not want to accept Bitcoin as a payment in my business, imagine there are 5 consumers want to buy fuel and there's an one who interested to pay with Bitcoin, so he ask me when there's no more customers.

I will explain about Bitcoin, tell them to buy Bitcoin and use it etc, but there's no financial gain for myself lol. I'd rather to learn a new skill to earn more money rather than explain to stranger and not get anything.

I see what you mean, but in this case, you don't need to explain or take the time to teach people about bitcoin, if someone wants to know about bitcoin, just give them some reputable source so they can learn about bitcoin themselves.

Using bitcoin for business is not a new thing anymore, and it is not as harmful as you think. You can both promote bitcoin to become more popular, and you can get more new customers by using bitcoin. If it were me, I would also get gas or shop at a store that accepts bitcoins rather than a regular store. Simply because I'm a bitcoin investor, and that counts as an experience.

Don't think that bitcoin will be the main payment method. It may even only attract up to 20 customers in the first few days, who then slowly return to conventional methods. Then it won't affect the OP's business too much.

Paying bitcoins for small transactions still comes with a fee, anyone would consider using it rarely.

I think small time owners can never really see a big jump in customers "because of Bitcoin".

Unless they are a niche product than can't be found elsewhere, and you only accept Bitcoin OR you sell at a discount if you buy using Bitcoin.

Bitcoin use has to fit the use case, as alternative when there isn't anything else to use

One of my problems with being cashless when I am going to fuel my vehicle is that I am still going to sign something, which is a hassle for me, but if ever it is in Bitcoin, I would just send it and be done, and it is good to go.

Many people use bitcoin as a means of payment, not everyone considers bitcoin as an investment. But accepting bitcoin for a gas station, I don't think it will work well. I mean, most of us want to fill up fast and leave immediately, waiting and jostling at gas stations is a regular occurrence, and it will take us longer to pay with bitcoin. If it were me, I would not use bitcoin in this case, and cash is still more convenient.

As for accepting bitcoin for business as just a way to attract more customers, I don't think anyone will hold bitcoins once paid, most will convert to fiat immediately.

Nice initiative mate, you have taken to bold step in accepting bitcoin as an alternative means of payment in your business and also to use it as a medium to teach your customers about bitcoin. Since your business is a small one,you should use an electrum wallet which has already been measure by posters above. After the week sales,you can convert your capital to fiat at leave your profit in bitcoin, because you will need fiat currency to buy more products. The volatile nature of bitcoin makes it unadvisable to leave all your income in bitcoin.

good that there are people who are extending their business to accept and adopt bitcoin and for me ? this is a best way to compete with other gas station and also to open peoples Eyes in your community that there are other things they can use aside from Fiat in which government can sequester .

Op Thank you for introducing Bitcoin to your business. You have taken a very nice step. OP since you are looking for a secure wallet here I suggest you to use Electrum Wallet or mycelium Wallet. Both these wallets are very secure. You can also use exchange wallets for those customers who don't want to pay in this wallet. Can introduce p2p payment system for them. For this you can use Kucoin and Binance exchange as p2p exchange. In p2p system it takes only a few seconds to get from the customer's account to your account. You find it most suitable to introduce p2p system in your business. And I always wish God's best for your business so that you can be successful.

Keep it up man because there are only a few people doing that currently and you might trigger the curiosity of the people in your place. perhaps they will gonna search and want to learn about bitcoins when they heard about it because of you. If only I have the mindset of being a businessman, or skills of a businessman then I'll do the same. I'll integrate cryptocurrency in my business, but the difference is that, I will not only accept Bitcoin, but some other altcoins as well such as Ethereum, Dogecoin, BNB and others who I know is a good long term coin (except for DOGE).

It's good that you are educating people with regards to Bitcoin.
I will just give an advice that maybe give some handouts or some small modules that you created to some people out there who are interested in learning it. Anything that can help them learn more about it will be a good thing.

You said gas station right?
I don't know if Electrum has a wallet TBH since I'm not using any Bitcoin mobile wallet than Samourai. For sure, nobody will get their laptop, and will use it if they really wanted to pay using Bitcoin so I'm pretty sure that whenever they wanted to pay using Bitcoin, they will use a mobile wallet application to do it.

I'd suggest to accept different altcoins, because there are some altcoins that has a lower transaction fee than Bitcoin.

Somehow' its always you beginners [Newbies - Members] that are always having these contracts that wishes to pay in bitcoin or someone just started accepting bitcoin in their firm or someone just convinced his or her boss to be paid and even pay the rest of them staff in bitcoin. The OP ran out of ideas to help newbies create good content (these are topics he created) and celebrate Bitcoin as an asset, and he decided not to waste time. 20 new topics from 43 posts. I am happy to see this post although I checked this kind of posts here but each time i saw BTC adopting post of individuals un any are its give pleasant to me and i wish i could also do some to spread awareness in my area but here big issue is that we cannot openly advertise BTC or crypto here.

One question always come in my mind when ever i see this kind of post that if at the time of buying or selling and successful deal if btc crashed 10% or more before payment then what will happen. we will make accept btc value before crashed or new one?

Can you provide some more pictures of your gas station accepting bitcoins? I don't think people will be excited about using bitcoin as a payment method at gas stations. I mean, it takes too long to process the payment, and they will have to pay extra fees for the transaction, while the fuel price is very high. So I don't think people will use bitcoin.

Although I always encourage service providers to accept bitcoin as payment method but, unfortunately, I don't think it's going to work for you. The reason is that no gas station customer will accept to wait ~10 minutes for his payment to get confirmed. Such customers are always in a hurry.
It may work if you are going to accept lightning payments or any other coins with faster transaction speed (ex: ltc).

If the business flourish with use of cryptocurrency payment mostly bitcoin as preliminary, they will be a time when it will be extended to other potential cryptocurrencies as some people suggested, this business is just a fresh business that I brought the ideas of using bitcoin as use of payment but it's not necessarily mean that it have only one option, the option is two and use of fiat currency is the first option and bitcoin is the second option, I will be rotating the cryptocurrency option of payment with the regards of customers option in cryptocurrency, and after fishing out the altcoins they needed I will include it as payment option, its gradual process everything will stand
