So many of my customers and youths mostly is interested to make payment with bitcoin, I want to know bitcoin wallet that will be nice for receiving payment with bitcoin that will be safe for this business payment.

The point is here, as long as they know Bitcoin and accept Bitcoin around them, it will be easier for you to implement it. especially if Bitcoin is already common or accepted in your country, it will be easier. Not only that, introducing Bitcoin to the wider community is a bit difficult, especially for a generation that is no longer young. Maybe there are some who understand but this takes time. Hopefully, your plan is really successful and smooth, Keep it up.

Excellent initiative, I would say that you must certainly use the LN network because payments must be quick and therefore you should keep in mind that there are two ways to do it, custodial or non-custodial.  The choice must fall according to your possibilities in managing an LN node, if you have the necessary skills to do it safely without losing your funds then it is certainly the best choice otherwise you have to entrust your payments to external services.  Perhaps the best way is to use btcpay server.

this is a great initiative! these are the news that are good for bitcoin and the community, knowing that somehow it is possible to use one's btc to pay for daily expenses will lead to more and more mass adoption. as far as wallets are concerned, I also advise you to use the lightning network both to receive and to pay, because the TXs are instantaneous and with few fees. it seems to me that electrum supports LN

Congratulations to you OP, I hope the place you open the gas station is close to busy area because, the moment people discover that you are accepting BTC as a payment in your business, many people will conclude that you are a big man and they will be looking for way to snatch your system or phone from you to have access to your BTC. Am not trying to put fear in you than to advise you to be careful for late hours business because, people always look at those that is accepting BTC in their businesses as the richest man or woman in the country. I believe, trust wallet is reliable and trusted for that business because it is difficult for scammers to have access to your BTC unless you expose you seeds to someone.

Wow, that's great, congrats to you dude. maybe it would be better if there is also a wifi area right there in your gas station so that they can pay with Bitcoin for what they ordered so that you don't have a problem with the net transaction payment, this is just my suggestion.

You have a valid. This is the first thing I think when I saw gas station implement Bitcoin as payment because people come and go as quickly as possible when loading gas because they are on travel. I don’t know how Bitcoin works with OP’s business or if there’s really a business but showing Bitcoin to customers as an option is already an advantage for Bitcoin because it will serves as marketing. But I doubt OP can get benefit on using Bitcoin due to the nature of his business. Only few people have a time to wait for 1 confirmation before they will leave the gas station because I will not let my customer leave if the transaction is still unconfirmed.

Setting up LN doesn’t make sense because it’s not popular with common people. Most user has the native Bitcoin and only few use LN.

I understand what smartvirus is saying, the similar stories about this subject are hard to miss in this board, at first it was encouraging to see others do their bit to increase bitcoin adoption in their residence, whether or not the stories were true was not a priority but now it seems the merit distribution on these topics have made some users to create their own version of adopting bitcoin.

I can’t confirm if what you claim is true but I think it’s a big leap from being confused about bitcoin and lightning network to now accepting bitcoin in your establishment.

Not all businesses need you to necessarily include payment in bitcoins. It is a good idea but not in all businesses I mean. I feel some people in this forum are under the pressure to add bitcoin payment to their business even when their business is not one that necessarily needs to have a cryptocurrency payment option. Since you do not have enough knowledge about bitcoins yet, this is not a decision you should rush into.

This is a really cool and unique idea since as far as I know, I haven't heard of any gas stations that accept BTC so this is a great step forward, and I'm sure that many people who don't know what Bitcoin is will eventually get into it because of the hundreds of new people who will come to the gas station from time to time.

The promotion of Bitcoin will be significant in the area where the gas station is located. Congratulations on your new gas station, and keep up the good work. It should work well since people can simply pay with a QR code on their phones, and the transactions take only a few seconds. I'm sure it will be useful, and I hope to see this in my country someday too.

Congrats on your achievement and payment means. It will further introduce bitcoin to your environment but what's the possibility of this easy transactions because gas kg is not up to a dollar or $1, so if somebody is buying 1kg and he wants to pay in bitcoin do still accept? If YES! Which mean the person will spend more since most bitcoin brokers apply charges for transactions and some have minimum fractions to transfer. Won't all this be of challenge or they use bitpay cards? I know transferring with device sometimes delay a little, because you will need to confirm the transactions before the person leaves and will slow the business from attending to other customers. By the way which country are you selling gas with bitcoin payment system?

I like the idea you put into your business because if Bitcoin sees as an investment and not used as a payment method it won't achieve the major concept Satoshi wants when he create BTC.

Congratulations with your business, recently theres a lot of establishment currently accepting the use of bitcoin and once of the most effective way they are using it is with the use of the QR system which is just scanned and get to the address immediately without getting hassle, and also currently the gas fee is not too much unlike before so it's a good opportunity and attraction at the same time, it's good to the people getting convenient if they don't have any money and use their bitcoins at least. Selling fuel on a small scale is not a bad start. Many people need fuel and it creates a high impression to make people curious about the existence of Bitcoin and Blockchain.

yes you also has a valid opinion too Lightning Network is not very popular. also people who buy the gas is always in a rush.

card is better option then I think there is couple of company that offer Bitcoin debit card although is need KYC.

Or by using alternative coin with EVM chain compatible and only accept Stablecoin can be a better option
