Yep, these altcoins also have high risk and high rewards and it will make you a gambler. For me, if the $600 for OP is already huge, I suggest he protect it, take a small portion of that $600, then go for some low market cap altcoins then other portions can be put into safer cryptocurrencies like high market cap coin like Ethereum or BItcoin.

maybe arb is good with some good features on the ethereum blockchain I think these features are very useful in the future and abitrum will grow rapidly it is possible to take profits on arbitrum coins and hold the coins until the next bullruna this is not financial advice I'm just sharing my opinion about arbitrum tokens

The amount is very low and if you are looking for a good return from it then you need to go with the low marketcap coin. It will be risky but if you find the right one it can still turn into few thousand dollars. It will be a all or none move. Either you will hit the jackpot or lose everything. Investing in ETH or Bitcoin with this amount can max bring you 5X to 10X so if you are happy with it then go for it as this will give you a safe place to grow your funds compare to those low cap altcoin.

I agree, that's why there are many people who always try their luck in new coins with a small market cap because they get big profits and don't take too long.

Lol those days of low cap projects are truly serving its purpose like what bitcoin does because nowadays? most of those low cap projects are mostly scams and we can find them in reputation section.
so don't be blinded of their fake way and it is not just because they are having small cap means they are legit because you will end up losing much mate.

In this case I will advise you that if it is your 600 dollars and you are going to invest it in crypto in altcoin then if this is your first time then I will tell you this and I will suggest that First gather knowledge about crypto and then get hold of a strong coin that you believe will benefit me in the future and then invest in it but if you invest anyway. By investing in major altcoins for only 600$ won't change the life. So it will be better to gather more funds that can be invested in various crypto projects. There are a few ways that can be used to raise funds from that small capital and from that, the most effective way is to farm airdrop. There will only be some transaction costs, and the potential gain can be above a few thousand dollars from only one project. And if you are lucky enough you can manage to gain funds above 10k.

You can stay with Ethereum to invest your $600. I don't know how good the unique coins will be for the future but if you can buy Ethereum and hold it for a long time I believe you will have a lot of success. I want to tell you to look at Ethereum instead of looking at unique coins and invest and hold hope you will be very successful.

You said you are new here and you said you don't want anybody to advise you to buy BTC or do you hear anything bad about BTC because, BTC still remain the king among other cryptocurrencies over some years now and many investors that always embrace it from the market has enjoyed a lot of gain from the investment.

Since you said you don't want to invest in BTC and you have  already invested in Ethereum and BNB, I will advise you to invest in Solana because the price is still low for you to buy and hodl for bull run to come before you can sell to make a good profits.

Bitcoin is a lucrative investment, but significant profits require buying in large quantities, which requires a lot of capital.
And OP said he has been buying and holding a nice amount of BTC since 2010.
Altcoins are another option to choose for those with less money.
Altcoins like Matic and EGLD are other options that look good right now, as they still have a lot of room to grow. IMO

Personally, if I am already focused on ETH and BNB, then I will focus on increasing it, and use other altcoins to increase profits in the short term and to invest in ETH and BNB.
If your goal is long term, then these two coins are very good to have. However, if you want to add some altcoins, then from the choices you gave me I would choose ARB. However, I think ETH and BNB are enough, especially if your goal is 2026. Besides, it would be quite good if you increase your investment little by little until your target price is reached.

However, criticizing altcoins may require a lot of naming but your money will be very small in terms of quantity. In this direction, I would suggest investing in Solana, DogeCoin, Cardano, SEI, Ordi etc. altcoins along with Bitcoin investment. ETH is probably the best option out there since ETH ETF will be coming this year, hopefully. We can earn much if we want to use leverage on trading Bitcoin although the Risk is very high but I guess that risk is not far different from investing in altcoins, even top altcoins won't guarantee our profit if we look like FTT and LUNA. If ETH ETF comes this year we can see ETH price movement just like Bitcoin soon because when we see Bitcoin have ETH news it made Bitcoin gain more than 3x.

Thus you can unlock facilities from each altcoin when need. The interesting fact is, Sui & arbitrum, both of those coins raise up incredibly than others altcoins. I already added those two in my portfolio cause i believe still those have space to raise up more in upcoming days

Of course, scammers use various platforms. But it was Sui’s first steps that were accompanied by a huge number of scam projects, which played on the reputation of Sui himself. There are a lot of scam NFTs, problems with wallets and their security. All this was at the very beginning, now even after so much time I can’t name more than one successful project built on Sui most of them look very weak and unattractive.
