Investing in a business or even in a project, it doesn't requires a lot of skill but, just some knowledge of how the business environment works and it becomes a matter of the growth level you can attain within a period. Its something you can definitely build on slowly until you attain fast growths.

Having to pick between them both for me would be one with minimal risk and that would be investing in this case.

For me, I don’t want to settle on only one when I know I have the potentials to be more profitable when I do both. if you do make out some trades.Its true that it would really be that depending on someones interest because not all would really be that trying out to play safe, even holding for long term doesnt guaranteed safety imho.

If you want to be a trader, then you should be ready to learn, as a trader you will always learn, even if you have the right knowledge, then you should be upgrading frequently, trading is not for lazy people, if you are not ready to learn then its just better you don't go into trading because with time you will end up losing money, bitcoin trading is completely different from investment, if you have basic knowledge when you are investing in bitcoin, then its fine, since you will be holding for long term, but in trading you don't only need basic knowledge.

Investing in altcoin is very risky which i wont recommend anybody to do that, but if you are investing in bitcoin, then its less risky. If you can do your analysis and you invest in bitcoin, just make sure you transfer your wallet to a non custodial wallet and secure your private key. But you really need to be careful when trading, trading is not easy compare to investment.

In trading, you can get the possible target outcome in a shorter time frame, unlike with investment. It takes time. That's my personal take and I understand that there are other perceptions and other opinions about it. How do we trade if we don't have money? Both of them needed money, and I am not sure as to why you said that you don't need money in trading. No matter what you choose, both need money to start, and without it, you can't gain any profit from them. I agree with you.  Actually I missed a bit that I should have said that the money can't be invested at all.  Money is definitely needed to invest.  While working, we do trading as well.
