My father bought 50.000 $ Bonecoin 1 year ago .By the way he is ordering to me to do these kind of investments duties.I had to do that I said:It's a huge amount father are you sure that you're gonna risk all this money for just a coin?

a few months later this huge money reached 85.000$ I said;
-Father! well done you risked correctly.It's time to deposit it come on!!
-No son we should be patient more for a big hit

results:It's just 30.000$ now.

Funny story, but this just this shows the volatility of altcoins and also the greed of some humans which is quite normal as everyone has this in a few amount, the issue is the lack of control which obviously he fails to have, if not an investment that has given you a profit of about 35000$ different, would have been okay to close knowing fully well altcoins are not Bitcoin and shouldn't be traded or held for long term but instead short term investment as their unstable is very very high.

well its always be like that bro its called greed, i also have fallen into my own greed so many time that I missed so much big opportunity of becoming rich, alas now im neither rich nor broke.
but it'd be great to have that money that was supposed to be mine in my wallet you know but there is no point in regretting it.
as many have said having target will helps a lot, since you will usually not get greedy because you have a set of target then you'd always cash out when it became high enough.
its also a good way to know whether we are just speculating or we are trying to invest based on logic.
regardless though, such mistake i'm pretty dang sure happened to many of us.

You need to assess and  it just blindly place your investment,  it's true  that through time bitcoin still shows as good investment for people who can wait and hold till they reach the target,  while in terms  of alt/s aside from ETH,  BNB also show that same movements each time bitcoin make his rally,  you just need to make sure that you do your own research before taking part of any investment  either bitcoin or altcoin, crypto investments always have risk that you need to address to avoid making mistakes and lose your money.

The altcoin market is not something new and they have been doing pretty well till now. The altcoin industry has grown big since then and there are lots of altcoins that have real utilities throughout the industry. Even some projects are trying to connect real world assets with cryptographic network. There is a reason why altcoin are still popular among the investors. Bitcoin is pretty safe compared to altcoin but its profit ratio is low compare to many altcoin due to its massive market capital. Solana in my opinion is a coin that might still have potential, because Solana is the one most affected by FTX, it is rumored that FXT holds quite a large supply of Solana, of course everyone panics and sells their Solana.
Currently Solana is stable at 50$ if performance is still good maybe 100$ can be achieved by the end of next year.

Now everything makes sense with altcoin. You can't just expect that it will move like bitcoin and continue to increase its price as months and years pass by. Altcoins are only pump and dump schemes. Although I'm not saying it generally, but majority of them still fall on that most especially if we ride with the hype with these too good to be true projects in the market.

However, the opposite thing happens with bitcoin. As long as you hold it for long term and you never get bothered by selling it early when the price suddenly crash, then for sure you will never end up hodling bitcoin at a loss. Bitcoin is for long term while majority of the altcoins are just only good for short term investing.

A lot has happened in Altcoins, from one to another you keep hearing stories upon stories, they always have something of mouth full to say each time something bad happens.
We can attribute a reason concerning why most Altcoins currently now gets ruged and dumped, some will say it is because of the bear market and can't we see even Bitcoin is experiencing a huge dip and that speculation is invalid as they can't even last through the bear market following my researchs Altcoins can not be kept for the long run unless the person is ready to end up with nothing. Altcoins can be favorable at some point when considerable amount of observation is observed but alone just difficult for investors to out smart the Devs to make profits from their investment

Personally I've got confidence in a few altcoins which I have seen to be promising and looks like will be very profitable in the nearest future, for most altcoins we know that they follow after the trend of Bitcoin so on their own they don't have a solid trend but a cumulative aligning with that of Bitcoin. Over the years, Solana, matic polygon and cardano(ada) has been on my watch list and so far I have built a 70-85% confidence in them as they have proven over the years to be solid as compared to some other altcoins.

I do only consider those altcoins which are sitting on top 50 and below on which i could say or determine that they are really not those pumps and dumps on which we do usually be seeing in low caps but of course
there would really be no guarantees that you wont be experience those sudden declines on altcoins too or even with Bitcoin or ETH. There's always those probabilities but the good thing that we do see on
top coins is that dumps wont really be that severe or make that huge impact into our portfolio whereas if we do deal with those altcoins then we would actually be seeing different. Confidence? It would really be that depending on what projects that you have accumulated with because each person does have their own insights on what are the projects that they do see for it to be worth on upcoming bull run.

So it will really be always be ending up with personal choice because when choosing up a project, not all the time that you will be hearing up other peoples suggestion and recommendation
but also you will be looking after with your own personal preference too or something that do talks about intuition. Yes, it might not be that something reliable but choosing those

Yes. SOL has a strong defense and they fell because of the incident at FTX, but now they don't seem to want to be lulled any longer and if I monitor the price today it is around $56 and has risen slightly from the date; Your previous post of $50 is a sign of improvement and worth buying more from now on. My view, regarding the price picture, if next year it could reach $100, it would be wonderful if it was proven.

You really have to think about the risks of investing in crypto, especially if you enter altcoins. In my opinion, blind investment is just entering altcoins without any research and these altcoins still don't have good development and don't have a convincing history like top altcoins like ETH and BNB. The same movement will indeed occur in each cycle, but there will be changes that make a difference but are not significant enough. All investments must be thought through carefully and if it is for the long term then you need patience to achieve the desired price.

in time like this when many altcoins are actually gaining increase, I think you would better off investing in altcoin arond the top 200 because they don't just vanish into thin air like the thing you described instead they are just gonna be rallying until it reached near all time high because there are many whales that try to pump the coins.
honestly speaking, at time like this investing on those random altcoin doesn't seem to be beneficial.
the main reason is because the whales and most of investors are putting their money into top 200 altcoins and not bother with some random altcoin since these shitcoin are mostly just created for luring people into becoming exit liquidity meanwhile the top 200 coins are coin with fundamental and utility.

I believe the upcoming halving of Bitcoin next year would also have a positive impact on the prices of altcoins thus I am having a full confidence of some altcoins to also trend upward and pump as well taking a look of the past history of the price of Bitcoin whenever it reach an ATM many altcoins would also enjoy a massive pump in price I think the price history would repeat itself again, however investors of altcoins would have to research on the credible and trusted altcoins to invest in though it's seem the prices of most altcoins are trending upward now after the price of Bitcoin resume it bullish sentiment
