One good thing about discount is that if it turns out positive the seller makes more profit due to high turnover. Business relationship preserves businesses, no business survive without business relationship. Customers satisfaction and excitement can trigger high recommendation and patronage from customers far and near. Another big business boaster is punctuality and consistency because many business persons with good customer relationship have lost their customers due to inconsistency and lateness, some customers don't tolerate lateness and won't mind looking for new vendors when the get disappointed.

Customers really like discounts, but there are others abusing them, mostly coupons. Others are getting tons of coupons or exploiting their rules in coupons to get discounts, but overall, you can really save from them. I noticed this only happens when there are events and also if the food is near expiration, which is still a good deal and can make the business not lose money as it will be wasted if not sold.
One of the best way to make more profits from business is to do more of advertisement to promote the business. This is why we do see that there are some projects that are more successful that the other. Companies that do more if advertisement will make people to see there product and those that are interested will always go for it. Running ads online to bring online customers to check the product and buy if they really want it. We need to create more awareness for our businesses so that we can gain more customers that will keep buying our products and making us make more profits.
Promotions and marketing wont really be that sufficient if the product/service you've been offering is shit and not really that something having the demand on which you would really be that basically be wasting up

your money with this even if you do go all in or having that huge allocation for marketing but if you do have a bad product or something not really that relevant or much needed then you are really still that bound to
fail. This is why you shouldnt really be only thinking on one angle or spot when you do see that you business isnt really taking  that much attention or having sales on which it is really that showing that there's something wrong.There would really be needing up some check up about on other factors which might really be that been neglected or didnt really pay up some attention on which this might be the
problem that your business is really facing on.

Investment doesnt guaranteed out success on which there are ones who do succeed and there are ones who do really fail. This is a world on which competition is high and it is
really that understandable that it would really be survival of the fittest.

This has worked personally for me in my business, because I get a lot of new customers who go to the length of making me know that it was customer a or b that directed them to my shop. From what you mentioned about customer retention that is a good one because seriously today what most businesses that are thriving today are enjoying is referrals, if you get one customer and you relate well with the individual that person can bring another 10 customers and such will also bring another 10 from there you have more customer to buy your products and that means more income and profit

This strategy is good and simple to apply but in reality, the result maybe different. Reason is that you may relate very well with customers and they spread your market to their friends but if the need is not there, they will not come and the price is also another key to consider. The customer you sold am item to might be interested in what was sold to him and the other might not be interested in the price, they will want to make research about price in another location and if they found out that it's cheaper than the amount you sell, they wouldn't come to you and even the first customers you sell to wouldn't come back again.

Your logic can only work in a situation where you sell goods and services that has a uniform price, it wouldn't be a problem to get customers to come and buy, in this case using discounted price shouldn't be your next move but how to win them over like society interested, like relating to what they like, get to know them and if the customer is a public person, talking good side of their family isn't bad and also religious aspects if you share the same believe with them.

Except big discounts I tend to prefer buying things physically so if you can give me opportunity compare couple of different brands in one shop you will directly increase my chance to buy from you. I dislike to wander around more than 3-4 different shops just to do comparison. I would also suggest people to engage your target demographics. You may portray yourself like young clothing shop if most of your customers are young, with decoration etc.

The assortment in a certain niche is a very important point, but it will be very important in an offline store, where the buyer comes and chooses and measures during the purchase. But if this is online sales, then there is no such great importance in the assortment of different brands, because you will be targeting buyers who prefer a particular brand. You can develop any of the directions, you just need to see which sales method gives the best results, or if you have a large assortment of different brands, then it will definitely not be worse for online sales.

This suggestion is really good. Because the store-to-store can sometimes get tiring. One store I know works this way, I won't name names. At the same time, the products in this store can be cheaper than the brands own stores. I usually like to shop there during these cheap periods. Sometimes I try the product from its own store and visit that store where they are all sold in one store, in case it is more suitable.

Nowadays, shopping is usually done online, but I prefer to go and see and buy.

From my experience as a business person, in buying and selling, I have discovered some helpful tips on how to increase profit. I an happy to share some in this forum.
Customer relation, a business person must understand that customer is king and should be treated like a royalty. Even it they are buying the least thing in your shop. When they leave your shop delighted, be assured that they will always come back to patronise you. And they will even market your products to their friends. Meaning more patronage for your business which will be increasing your profit.
Your business should have at least one season when you give out rewards and discounts to customers when they buy your products. This will increase your sales geometrically and when you remove the cost of the reward and discounts, you will still have increased profit.
Stock different brands of the products that you sell. Customers will prefer to enter a shop where they will see different varieties of what they need. More customers will enter and will even be tempted to buy more than they planned for. More customers equals more profit.

Yes, even though your items or products are in demand still you need to have a good marketing skills in order for you to have a lot customers and expand your business.
