I don't think individuals gambling habits arise because of stress; it's a decision they make and they live by it. Also, there could be something that influenced them to gamble, and after gambling on the first day, maybe it was fun to them, so they tried again for the second time, and so they kept going. When someone is very stressed, I don't think they can easily make a good win if they start gambling because, in gambling, one needs to be very calculative. Some people who are stressed out need to rest.
