They are talking player vs player in a real poker format. Hopefully they figuring out something good behind the curtain. Poker has so many nice games, it would be sad to just feature no limit holdem or something.

We would at least need several omaha games such as BigO, 5c Omaha, 6c Omaha and so on. Those are action games where the provider can actually make to most earnings (rake) .

If they add poker then they should do it right. Not some half axxed try to make a decent option for players to play at. This would expand their brand a lot if it's done right. Also there are plenty of sponsorships opportunities for streamers and in live events, Poker still is super popular as a viewing experience as well.

Nitro has poker full of collusion and betnomi poker is provided by a 3rd party. Their poker you are playing a player pool across many different networks. Private tourneys that have been organized are only bitcointalk players but the other tourneys and ring games are from the rest of the network.

I am curious to see stake launch poker(who knows how long players will be waiting), but I'm also curious how they plan to stop collusion.

swcpoker.club, right? Cool, I found video of someone on youtube playing swcpoker and I can say that interface of their software looks familiar to me. I'm a little bit lazy to register on Betnomi but can't find a video of how it looks/feels to play poker on their website. Btw betnomi looks like a good option, it's a casino with a lot of games at the same time.

The main issue I see with poker rooms is that they don't attract enough players to get full tables outside of the rush hours. Poker is a scalable business that depends on the number of players. If gamblers have to wait too long to get a full table they might choose to play at a different site. That is why it might bet better at the start to only focus on one or two poker variants like NoLimit and PotLimit, so most players will play at the same tables. Having some sponsored weekly Sit'n'Go tournaments could be a good way to attract new players  and keep them engaged for a longer period of time.

I agree with you that adding poker room is not a hard thing for Stake but I think it is not about hard or easy, it must be related to "priority to have" list. They have not added it till now because maybe they have other priorities to have or to do in the past several years and maybe they think that this year is the right time for them to add it.

I agreed. Casino games and sports betting are the 2 most profitable things they can offer, so that's the priority of course.

Poker on the other hand brings new players and maybe these players will also try some of their other games, so it is definitely a smart move to add poker. Since they just offer the software and collect the rake there is also no real risk involved, just lay back and collect basically.

Hopefully they will get this on the market anytime soon and won't let their players much longer for it.

Btw, poker streaming is also super popular and since stake bought KICK streaming a while back that would be the perfect fit as well! Can't bring this out on a better time than now I think.

This attitude reminds me of Elon Musk. You know Elon right? He is also good at making false promises but there are times he did it and then revised it. Don't know if he is confused or he is only playing tricks on us.

I think Eddie said it so that those peeps will hold on and continue playing on his site but they can always remind him again. If he still did not implement the feature, that should be the time for them to leave the casino. If they won't add it, it simply means they are not interested with it and they might be contented on what their existing features has to offer. Maybe they are earning decent with it?

Yes, you are right because I'm sure people will like the game of poker and tournaments, but sometimes it's rare for someone to have the courage or the confidence to bet on playing poker in tournaments against other people, I haven't seen any additional poker games on the Stake.com site, so far I haven't played poker since a year ago, but if it was added to Stake.com I would definitely be happier playing there than on other sites.

I am sure that with the game of poker it will certainly add to the many games at the casino because obviously I need a game that is not boring especially when football sports betting rests this summer it will definitely be boring playing the casino games that I play.

If stake does in fact implement this at some point on the future they need to do it with the intent of trying to make more players to try poker as a gambling game, after all the number of poker players on this market is on the low side without any signs it will go up, so if they want this new enterprise to become successful they really need to encourage more people to play poker, not an easy thing to do but something they will have to do for sure.

I'm not updated on this but it's an excellent move from the top casino in the industry to do this if you have a link to the stream the better or maybe in the coming weeks or when they are ready they will announce it through a newsletter, this is something to watch forward for the top casino in the industry, I'm sure it will be welcomed by poker players all over the world.
This is a good promotion for Poker since Stake is very active in promoting additional games and features.
