it certainly could however I would be very careful in the autumn, there could be a collapse of the btc and potentially all altcoins would be at risk including litecoins
Since everything pegs to the bitcoin and it's possible to happen. There's no doubt once bitcoin dumped and whole of market will be dumped as well. BItcoin was fully dominating the market since a long time ago.

That trend was a common thing once altcoins could not resist from the bitcoin impact to the market.

I personally dont have much hopes for coin like litecoin in which its existence is already too long to be having some rally out of thin air, but then again this still got some good trading volume for reason, so i guess there is always chance of it having some parabolic movement but honestly don't expect too much.
In 2023, we can't really hope for altcoins, including Litecoin, but we need to remember that halving will always have an impact on prices,
and Litecoin is currently really cheap according to technical analysis, and if we talk about LTC, the answer will go parabolic is yes!.
because after the halving is right in 2024-2025 and most likely the altcoin season will happen again, so why not buy LTC now and hold it for next year?.
I do think that 2024-2025 will be parabolic years without a doubt, but not this summer. Litecoin will benefit from that, will it benefit more or less compared to all other coins around it? I do not really know, I hope that it does better but I am not sure if it will be like that or not. I think it is quite obvious that we should be forgetting about "when" it will do parabolic and instead focus on making more and more investments until it does.

This way we will have a lot more litecoin when the movement starts and we wouldn't be really worried about when it will happen because the longer it takes the more we will be getting. That's how we should approach this situation, otherwise we would be just biting our nail until it goes up, and that's no way of waiting.

Yes, I believe any halving event will pump the price up and that's no exception to Litecoin which really make a good rally and of course it lessens the supply of it that's why it's one of the criteria that triggers the price uptrend. LTC already making good tractions now, how much more if the event will be near and after as well. I think good rally will be inevitable.

the current correction just spelled a big no for litecoin getting parabolic this time around.
i don't know but it seems to be the case that coins like litecoin are also among the ones that gets massively affected by the upcoming fuds. currently it recovers though.

Yes, hopefully it will happen this year because old coins haven't had good movements like other altcoins,
so this is why there is the potential to become parabolic for Litecoin because Litecoin will also do a halving,
we all know what the halving effect will be like.

In the year of 2024 to 2025 it should be a parabolic year and there is no without doubt and Litecoin will benefit from that, will it benefit more or less compared to all other coins around it? I do not really know, I hope that it does better but I am not sure if it will be like that or not. Due to this its still go upwards we tibet the nail .

The next Litecoin halving event is coming in August, and that has investors excited about this coin's future upside potential.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Litecoin (CRYPTO: LTC) is on the move again. The coin is up 13% over the past seven days after significantly underperforming the market for much of the year. Over that same period, both Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) are basically flat.
What are your thoughts on this litecoin resurgence?

We know how halving affects the market trend a reason why we believe that this will increase the price of Litecoin to some extent but not to the point of getting it bullish as it was not the same as when the entire market is at ATH. Probably we can witness a surge in its price but it drops then after a while. So, if we are buying Litecoin, much better to start accumulating before halving and then sell it when it hits on its peak I can't imagine keeping the trend for long, investors will drop making the price drop as well, and we should anticipate it.

It has been said above that even thr recent halving did not bring better result for the holder so what are the factor that we expect in this one?
When it is an obvious relation about the bitcoin halving that makes all legit coin bring good return .
Not sure if your title id implicated to the solution but for me? Nope this is not going that eay.

You will expect different results if there will be development updates for this old alt.
However, I am not hearing any noise when it comes to this coin, so don't know if it can really made a difference this time.
Most alts are just following bitcoin's trend, but we can still expect a different outcome if the coin itself has something to offer to the community.
If you will check their site for updates, it seems that they have nothing new for now - https://litecoin.com/en/news.
So don't know how they will perform this coming months without any life changing update for this project.

Just continue to be patient man and soon you will be rewarded but as long as you are confident that the old coins you HODL are still stable in terms of developments. The other altcoins you mean might be the newly released coins. It's normal for them to pump at first because people always have the excitement for new things but don't worry because their shine can also fade later on and we don't know what can happen to them next.

Old coins are still better than them because we already know that their chance to recover is high. We already know what effect the halving can bring into Bitcoin and that is it can make its price rise but for Litecoin, it's said that its past halving performance are bad but maybe that will change this time, let's see.

There might be no huge effect from the halving but I still think once the market recovers LTC will go pump as well. Its price was able to reach the level of $100 and since its cheaper now, this is another opportunity for us to buy more and hold more. I’m bullish with LTC and this year, it will continue to grow and rise, eventually its halving will pay off and many investors will see its real value, just wait for the bull run again.

I am, and I believe that litecoin will go high, I am one of those people who hardly leave a coin if it hasn't done anything wrong. Litecoin never has done anything wrong, the price drop or the rank drop is not something related to litecoin, it is related to its investors, a coin or the project team or someone that is core to the coin has to do something silly to make it go down in value to make me leave and Charlie has never done something like that, not anything nearly enough at least.

This is why I believe that it is going to be quite important to keep it. I believe as long as we keep this pace, then it is going to be top ten and stay there for a long time and be valuable as much as it can get. That's why I keep holding it and will hold it for many years.

not sure of that and believe me mate , it is better to trust those coins that facing no big difficulties than litecoin that once a ranking coin.
also are you a LTC investor? or this is just aa supporting post but you did not put any in this one?
and did the last halving bring Litecoin a good move?

The effect of halving is always positive, even altcoins that experience halving will also be positive,
I'm sure of that, especially with Litecoin, which is an old altcoin and will experience a halving,
the price will definitely be affected, and now the price of Litecoin is really at the bottom, so don't be just a spectator.

Litecoin will go to parabolic, don't worry, it will happen if you hold on and be patient,
otherwise you will regret it. The halving of Litecoin is only 49 days away,
so be patient if you want to see Litecoin above $100, it could even reach $300 again.

Litecoin has lost its power. There's no further development happens.
I don't even like litecoin but there is definitely development happening, community is strong and as it's fair distribution POW it's not going to be in danger of being declared as a security. Also it has never gone down. Which can't be said in ton of the altcoins out there.

I see it as pointless and my trust on it vanished when charlie sold his LTC in the top. But wouldn't say it doesn't have power behind it.

Litecoin settled back down since this thread was created.  I think halving is just an event and shoukd spur too much action.  Last event nothing really happened either.  In most cases litecoin will track to what bitcoin is doing regardless of what events are in front of litecoin.

I think it is quite important to remember that this was created back in 2011, imagine how long of a time 12 years is in the crypto world and remember that this has never been out of top 20 if I remember right, even if it was it must be very close and for a short period of time.

Right now, it is doing well again and it is already ranked 12th and it could easily pass Polygon and Doge and XRP and SOL and Tron, those are coins that is not as strong and as sustainable which means that there is a chance it could be 6th, which would make it even 4th if you count out the stablecoins. Even in the worst case scenario I would put them in top 10 easily, they have been around for this long, I do not see a reason why it would not be around a bit longer, probably a lot longer.

Litecoin has entered a crucial level in my opinion. with an increase of 15% this week,
this clearly indicates that Litecoin is reacting well this season, because indeed the effect of the halving has also affected the LTC price,
if you ask, will it be parabolic? of course LTC will increase in the next few months if the $100 price is met and LTC breaks it.
